[UNSUPPORTED] [RECOVERY][UNOFFICIAL] TWRP 2.8.7.0 - HWPLK - PLK-L01 - English - Honor 7 Android Development

Q. Why do I need this? I already have one!
A. It has the correct details in it, so any (well written) recovery flash-able zip can determine if it's the correct device! The recoveries currently on XDA of the H7 are actually for the P8 and MediaPadX2
A TWRP recovery with correct default.prop details for the PLK
ro.board.platform=hi3635
ro.product.model=PLK-L01
ro.product.device=HWPLK
I've created it with the Marshmallow zImage (kernel), it works fine on my B140

fastboot flash recovery twrp-2.8.7.0-hwplk.img

Changes:
an adb tweaked version (2.8.7.0.a) added 11-Jan-2016
ro.adb.secure=0
persist.sys.usb.config=adb​
To fix (when I get a new unlock code...)
fstab update
system mounted read-only (change in [Mount] section for now..)
cache wipe time (maybe switch to rm -rf instead ?)
some more tweaks...

The 'old' TWRP also provided root on the MM beta's.

i didn't know that, when I had my MM disaster I couldn't get the TWRP_Honor7_EN.img to boot

The EN version didn't work for my either i used the chinese version from the multi-tool.
BTW your TWRP PLKL01 works on my AL10

Sorry people, currently unable to do any "dev" or testing on my H7 as I am currently waiting for a new one as mine is broke, then i will have to wait 2 weeks to unlock bootloader

The "a" version seems to change the security status, but which effect this have?

use adb shell without a confirmation prompt
persist.sys.usb.config=adb
was originally set to none (and was set to adb in the earlier twrp)
probably little use to most people :silly:

I try to use TWRP without "a" and it work!
But it is not possible to clean my cache!
It starts, but will not end!
i have forbidden to mount system to r/w!
any suggestions?
