i tel u my problem
i have rooted and installed a custom rom with TWRP recovery i have done a backup but without the EFS.
but i have problem imei is empty no Sim card detected both slots and base band = unknown
Bluetooth and WiFi work perfectly trying to fix the problem there is what i do
- hard rest
- installed oxygen 2.1.3
- installed oxygen 2.1.3x
- installed hydrogen
- installed CM12
- i have erase modemset1 and modemset2 flash stock ROM
- erase persist and flash stock ROM
in all i have same problem
there is a tutorial about lost recover imei for the OPO but i cant make it work for my OPX
can u help me solve the problem? please

i install the app my phone is reconozied but when i try to backup i got a message can u help me resolve that

You are trying to backup while you should try to restore. There should be option to restore efs from nav, use that. I am not sure how it will work now.

when i try to backup or restore i get same message /dev/block/platform: Permission denied given

Make sure to enable android debugging in developer mode. Search in the efs professional thread, ask there, people who used that may reply.

Its device specific. My efs backup won't help you. Also it contains sensitive information, so never share that.

i installed foxhound rom latest update v2.6 since then i am getting this error process.com.android.phone stopped working and system ui stopped working !!!
My mobile is not catching any network ( No Signal ) its saying not registered on network.... i put my sim in another phone its working but on my s3 no network coming !!!

oh sorry for my mistake. I am using foxhound 2.6 version. I having the process com.android.phone has stop when i receive a call then the signal goes off for awhile . data is fine i can call other number also but the call page show cdma waiting which i dont have on the last version. after a call the process com.android.phone occur again and again until the next bootup

I know raffaele88 has just started updating this rom again :good: There have been a few reports on his thread about simila problem try asking on his thread which you probably have done or take a logcat and post that on his thread this helps the dev's alot.Or wait for another update I am actually going to try this rom when a few minor problems are sorted out.Did you do the basics after installing like clearing cache/delvik/fixing permissions etc..

This Attachment helped me i also installed that foxhound 2.6 version that caused me problem after installing this file problem got solved !!! found this in some other thread of xda cant find the link so attached this ....... our rom is mg4 version right now i have installed mg4 baseband hope if it fixes my problem !!!

yes i have a running P5001. it does not appear in the compatibility list of your linked article though.

just try mtk droid tools and sp flash tools... if we can make a backup then it will surely be used for cooking/porting to other device...

Medion Smartphone P5001 is an MTK device... once you have the backup, then you can try flash this backup with sp flash tool to your tablet...

Recently I got a Motorola E XT-1021 with Kitkat4.4.4, and unfortunately the Wi-fi wasn´t working, when I put it on, it auto-deactivates.
I´ve been searching for hours, and a solution was to put the file WCNSS_qcom_wlan_factory_vn on the persist folder, but it didn´t worked for me.
I´ve already rooted and rebooted, and fabric reseted... but nothing...
PS: Before I obtained the cellphone It was from a friend of mine, and It was working well, but after I reseted it, the wifi stopped working

I found that there is no MAC address inmy Wi-fi nor Bluetooth.
So I´ve read that it could be something about the IMEI, because we factory reseted the cellphone and instead of putting my friend´s SIM, I inserted mine.
That´s possible? And if so, do you know if I could fix this? Thank you again.

For no Mac address issue
Please refer the second solution I gave you in my above post (The one by Huong Cao)
And for that IMEI issue .. try flashing radio files

Flashing radio may help with IMEI issue and it will update your modems to latest version

First of all don't lose hope
Now see if your imei issue is solved
If yes take a backup of efs partition and keep it safe
Now install cm12.1 build by clean installing
And see if it helps

I installed CM12.1 and the issue wasn´t solved... Neither wi-fi or bluetooth.
So I tried CM13, and same.
Any idea? :,0

Sim cards was not working few days back but when i flashed radio files the problem was solved... new the wifi problem popped up "/

You can't possible brick your phone while flashing.It's a myth.And only Nexus devices are known to do so.Chinese devices are tangible and won't do anything to oppose PC's authority.So,Follow the tutorial.I have been flashing firmwares modifying ROMs building kernels for 5 years and only a Nexus 5 was Permanently "Bricked" which was later solved.

It is possible to brick your Z5 if you don't know how to recover IMEI, persist etc. It happened to me and many others on here. I was able to recover my phone thanks to the help of others and the various threads.
The Z5 is much easier to brick than many others I have played with e.g. Oneplus etc. I think the main problem is there is no proper recover software. Qfil doesn't seem to flash everything, it certainly doesn't flash the persist partition.

Never Used a Chinese Device so I don't have a lot of experience with them.But all of my Other devices went well with flashing.I was flashing at least 8-9 Times per day while testing my nethunteros ROM.

Please please Podge , help me please you have experience with this phone so please give me steps to install the stock rom , my phone is new , when i turn it on it show me a message( the bootloader is unlocked and software integrety cannot be guaranteed....)

In this donwload there is the stock rom and guide for flashing it, the translator have called it rooting but it is flashing, if that is the guide which is unclear please ask for clarification, and ill get you on stock rom.

Thank you , i have flashed the ZUI_3.9.075_ST successfully , the phone is run fast now and the camera work , but i don't fond Playstore please how to install it ? also i'm not able to change wallpaper , i click on "set as wallpaper" but nothing shown on the phone screen. any help please !
In the chinise app store on the phone you can install playstore, i do not know anything about the wallpapir

dont do... within a couple of days you will be promped with an ota update in notifications just press install on that. the ota updates is working but the app for checking them manually does not.

i have flashed the ZUI 3.9.200ST and the i have updated it manually to the ZUI 4.0.390ST (downoaded from the Russian site) every thing is working now
Led notification work. there is a problem , for exemple when i receive a message from Messenger , the phone sometimes notify me and sometimes din't
any one can explain this problem ?

what its working and what its not working ?
what is the link to download it ? can i flash it with Qfil like i did with stock rom ?
There is notch support now but i have not installed it, the only thing i know that does not work is the fm radio.

thanks for pictures , i see that the time and Battery icon are cutted , i think it's not based on Zui , not ?
you didn't answer me what is the link to download it ? can i flash it with Qfil like i did with stock rom ?

that is fixed but i have not flashed the fix as i need to reflash everything

my phone is bricked and unfortunately until now no one could fix it . my last hope is a full dump . i have qcn backup that i give to anyone who send me a full dump file
pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaseeeeeeeee this is my last hope
i have no way i did all of them there is no xiaomi center in my country . just a dump file can help me

it is a boot repair file thatwhen a phone bricked or its storage have software issue it can be very usefull
search in gole you will find more about that .
if you have a poco f1 and its bootloder unlocked then i think with some programs you can get a dump file

which partition do you need exactly??
mmcblk0 -> /dev/block/mmcblk0
mmcblk0p1 -> /dev/block/mmcblk0p1
these two are done.

have you tried the shorting pin method for flashing the stock rom??
i mean by removing the back cover and shorting the two pins and then flashing via fastboot or mi flash tool.

i need full dump so all partitions . and yes i have tried that way even i removed its storage and formatted it separately but because of programing hard problem my issue remain . so my last way is full dump to repartition its storage . if you could give me a full dump i really appreciate you dear friend
