Hi there.
Recently I got a Motorola E XT-1021 with Kitkat4.4.4, and unfortunately the Wi-fi wasn´t working, when I put it on, it auto-deactivates.
I´ve been searching for hours, and a solution was to put the file WCNSS_qcom_wlan_factory_vn on the persist folder, but it didn´t worked for me.
I´ve already rooted and rebooted, and fabric reseted... but nothing...
PS: Before I obtained the cellphone It was from a friend of mine, and It was working well, but after I reseted it, the wifi stopped working
PS2: Sorry If my english is bad, It isnt my native language.

Just a guess .. but have you tried any lollipop rom to see if the issue still persists ?

I found that there is no MAC address inmy Wi-fi nor Bluetooth.
So I´ve read that it could be something about the IMEI, because we factory reseted the cellphone and instead of putting my friend´s SIM, I inserted mine.
That´s possible? And if so, do you know if I could fix this? Thank you again.

Please refer the second solution I gave you in my above post (The one by Huong Cao)
And for that IMEI issue .. try flashing radio files

First of all don't lose hope
Now see if your imei issue is solved
If yes take a backup of efs partition and keep it safe
Now install cm12.1 build by clean installing
And see if it helps

I installed CM12.1 and the issue wasn´t solved... Neither wi-fi or bluetooth.
So I tried CM13, and same.
Any idea? :,0

Sim cards was not working few days back but when i flashed radio files the problem was solved... new the wifi problem popped up "/

yeh i end up the same with cm9.. and check your serial number if its 00000000 you are in the a.. like me..

Hope it's international version of sgs 3,cos flashing it on other models of sgs3 has caused similar problems to many.

knew it... we are fuucked .... for the moment i am trying to find solution... i flashed everything form stock ics to rooted jelly.. fatoctory reseted like 10 times... wiped no wipe, with no luck at all... guys come up with something..

i remember i solved once an sgs 2 with basically same simptoms,with no power menu,and i solved it with a root explorer changing something in efs/imei, or placing a file there...

well the same happend to me.. exactly... go to mobile network and try to search manualy.. will it find your carrier? if so try to choose it and tell me the msg.. i got "selected network unavailable"

i replaced.. i even used efs pro to try to fix.. no luck.. some people are experiencing the same as us.. all i found over the web was that it needs to go to service centre.. but i hope some developer can look into this and help us out with some tips.. not only flash stock a hard resset...

when i installed arhd 11.00 i made a backup of my efs in the arome installer .can this help me somehow?
Why don't you guys pm ur problem to developers and ask there help, cos most of them don't look into these q &a section...anyway keep us posted with the developments

Did you flash back to your original rom - the one came with it when you bought your phone. It may help to restore your serial number.

i dont know what was the rom,the phone is from vodafone romania and i bought it from someone sim unlocked...anyway i dont know that rom anymore..

I have made a Firmware which includes the correct modem for restore your signal. Script "MotoEXT1511Flash" is included, you will need fastboot, mfastboot and adb files to run it. Enjoy!

i have rooted and installed a custom rom with TWRP recovery i have done a backup but without the EFS.
but i have problem imei is empty no Sim card detected both slots and base band = unknown
Bluetooth and WiFi work perfectly trying to fix the problem there is what i do
- hard rest
- installed oxygen 2.1.3
- installed oxygen 2.1.3x
- installed hydrogen
- installed CM12
- i have erase modemset1 and modemset2 flash stock ROM
- erase persist and flash stock ROM
in all i have same problem
there is a tutorial about lost recover imei for the OPO but i cant make it work for my OPX
can u help me solve the problem? please

You are trying to backup while you should try to restore. There should be option to restore efs from nav, use that. I am not sure how it will work now.

Make sure to enable android debugging in developer mode. Search in the efs professional thread, ask there, people who used that may reply.

Its device specific. My efs backup won't help you. Also it contains sensitive information, so never share that.

I bought a Redmi Note 4 from China and I am using it in India. But I don't know why Volte is not working Earlier it was working but after simple reboot it not working. I tried many methods like Resetting APN, Turning on and off Radio etc. But yet not got any solution. What is the solution??? I have MIUI V 8.1.14.0.MBFCNDI ROM, I did nothing to ROM and all, Device is as usual as it was. Please Help me to get rid of this problem. Suggestions are welcome

You did updated your phone to 8.1.14 though? Because it's imposible that it came with that ROM preinstaled. That version of the ROM was relased before few days.
I bought in the end of December 2016. And I updated after that 2-3 times,

I updated it 2-3 times, I mean whenever I got new updates. It was not working from I think first update... What is the solution?
Well you wrote that you didn't do anything to ROM. But actually you did many updates. Probably there is some bug on newer version of the ROM. First at all try doing factory reset.
I did reset my device.

Hey, Thanks! For your support. But I did reset the device when I was not getting any Volte Function but that too did not solve my problem and still I am not getting the same.

Well, maybe, you should revert back to the version where Volte worked. But that's a little bit complicated process if you are a newby.

Thanks for quick reply; I am newby and never encountered such problems, By the way I love technology but never Rooted device etc. and do not have any experience about ROM etc. I just use how it comes from company. Give me other methods if this is complicated.

Well, there are no other methods if your phone is rooted. There is only one. You need to flash the earlier version of ROM with Mi PC Suite.

Hey...go to Sim Toolkit in the "Tools" folder and click on "Home IMSI" for sim 1 or 2 whichever is yu want to enable VOLTE

Try checking the battery settings of the mobile (Redmi Note 4 Mediatek). Go to Settings ---> Battery ---> Performance --> Show System Animation (select this option).
Sometime, when the battery performance is set to Optimization it fails to pick up the Volte Signal.

Hie everyone am stuck flashing Infinix note 7 x690B. The device went into boot loop after attempting to flash magisk patched boot to acquire root access in the device via adb and fastboot tools. I tried to flash the device with Tecno tool and sp flash tool all demanding for the right da file to complete flashing process. Anyone with a solution on this kindly assist.

I tried to root infinix note 7 with magisk . I unlocked bootloader. That was successful. Then i flashed magisk patched boot.img file . After that mobile got into bootloop. Unable to boot now in fastboot mode also. And when try to flash with sp flash tool. It immediately gets disconnected.
Bro you did wrong thing new new phones you have to disable dm verification after flashing a patched boot file in order to bootup mobile successfully. Anyways are you flashing same build as your phone was running on.. Or is it the different build?

it is different. And sp flash tool also gives the error of DA file not ok. Demands DA file for infinix note 7.
Did you try to flash with after sales service tool?

Cm2 dongle seems to do the trick but unfortunately i don't have the dongle neither do any of my friends have it. If i could get anyone with cm2 dongle and remote it to me well and good. Here is my watsapp no +254705980548

Finally *YES* a guy from Syria assisted me. Remoted infinity Cm2 using and by using flexihub usb share completed the long crisis that put my new device lying in the box for 3mnths. God bless Syria.

Whats the problem with your device is it having a boot loop? And do you have infinity cm2 dongle?

Hi,
Please help me too.
I unlocked my bootloader and flashed patch boot img file.
Phone starts but wifi is not working. Also bluetooth keeps force closing.
I do not have cm2 dongle, so if anyone can help me, that would be great.
