[Q] root problem

Hello, i just installed galaxy task 14 rom but i have a root problem and i'm unable to use applications which need to be rooted.
Have any solutions please ?
Thanks
doesn't sound like you are rooted. Do you see Super User in your app drawer?
I don't see super user in app drawer.
Then your not rooted. I would check for a guide to root. Once you are rooted you will see Super User in the app drawer. You can also get an app called root check to ensure that you are completely rooted and have full access, but I haven't seen a time where Super User was available and the device wasn't fully rooted. Hope that helps

Change Superuser app

On my gnex I easily changed super user apps. I don't know if it's because I'm still on a TW rom or the way the device is exploited it's not able to or a different process to change the app? Everyone uses supersu by chainfire but I would like to change it to superuser by clockworkmod. I've tried the uninstall for changing apps but I just lose root access.

Keep supersu installed, download superuser app of choice, update binaries of said app, then uninstall supersu. Worked for me.

New to Rooting

Hello everyone,
I am new to rooting, and recently rooted my metropcs Galaxy s3.
I see i now have a SuperSU option in my settings but dont know how it works or I am able to modify phone like thought i would be able to.
Can someone please help he in how SuperSU works in what i can and can't do?
Yeah just use an app that required root and the permission box will popup. Try root explorer, titanium backup, or any root app.
All the actual superuser app does for you is allow you to change icon and theme... As well as unroot. I always hide it in my app drawer cuz once I initially tinker with it I no longer need it

Cant uninstall main root app, stops on startup

Hi, I have a samsung galaxy duos, android 4.0.4. pretty old, i know.
anyway a few months ago i found a way to finally root my phone(i couldnt find a good root app that worked) i used kingo root which automatically roots my phone using my pc, after a few months of having my phone rooted, the main root app stopped working and would crash every time an app would request root permission or when i tried to open the app itself.
now the deal is, i cant use my root, i cant uninstall the root, i cant replace the root app, any solution to this?
Well in such case you have to manually remove it by flashing a custom recovery and deleting all the files created by kingroot such as base apk. And the su library planted by it.
All the best:good:

i said kingo root not kingroot, the names are similar but both are different, anyway i found a backup of the kingoroot app and now everything is fixed, thanks!

Just rooted my phone but root apps don't work

I successfully rooted my Moto G Power 2020 but when I try apps like emoji switcher or startup animation changer they don't work. It seems like any apps that changes thing's don't work even though they have superuser access. Iv checked with root checker and I do in fact have root and I have Magisk installed so I'm not sure what the problem is. This is my first time rooting so I don't completely understand this stuff. I also have no custom roms roms installed
