Recently, my htc hd2 t-mobile touch screen became unresponsive to touch. I decidde to buy another htc hd2 t-mobile. Surprisingly, the display is not as crisp as one i had earlier. The colours are not vivid and cant compare the two. I am wondering, anyone faced similar problem? Can i make the screen to show more vivid colours?
Hi, I recently dropped my One X+ which has chipped the glossy coating off the power button and cracked the screen (also affecting the LCD), I actually see this as a good opportunity to experiment with the screen. I was wondering whether the screen connector is the same as the original One X and if it would be possible to upgrade the screen to an original One X display which was roughly 25-30% brighter and had more balanced colours (the One X+ display is yellowish in comparison). Also I know that the One X has multiple display manufacturers, where can I purchase the bright Acer screen?

I'm literally staring at both my One X and One X+, both displays set to 100% both have identical home screens and I can't see a difference at all. Maybe it's because the're both from AT&T?

I can understand why you would think that, the One X+ actually has a very good display just not as good as the original international One x (maybe I should have stated that previously), The at&t model had the sony screen which was about the same as the One X+ screen, a tad yellow and around 400 nits bright, the international One X had the acer display, colder but overall more balanced, saturation was better and the brightness was around 550 nits, you can actually check on gsmarena for the exact specs. I compared with one of my relative`s original One X and there is a definite difference in brightness

When I have my Att Hox, and Hox+ side by side, I definitely feel like hox is yellowish. Possibly cause its on viper xl?
Sent from my HTC One X+ using xda app-developers app
I dropped my Razr and the screen is now cracked. The phone is operable. The only problem that I am facing is the brightness control. The screen is very dull (inspite of setting it ot full brightness) and I'm guessing that the light sensor would be damaged.
Is there any app that will help me increase the brightness above the maximum. basically, the opposite of a screen dimmer app.
Thanks,
Xavier
Not sure if it will help, but perhaps you could try this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nnevod.loggraph&feature=search_result
Some searches for ultra brightness here at xda may lead you in the right direcion if unsuccessful
I bought my hox+ just a few days back and today i noticed that from certain angles , when i'm looking at the led light, some light from it is visible from the 'dots ' neighbouring it . ( the two dots beside the main one)
is this leaking of light normal or is it some possible defect? SHould i replace. I'm in love with the phone though
Hi
I have tried to replace housing case cover of desire x. I had to take screen out.
Now screen is not working.. Phone boots but screen is dead.
Did i apply too much heat to screen with hairdryer?
How to fix this?
