VERY VERY unlikely. We don´t have custom recovery yet, there is barely any development going on. I don´t know how we would get Ubunto running properly.

2. Iflashed 0.6:and i got in a bootloop
3.tryed lgnpst with no succes
Can u guys give me some pointers ? I was trying to lgnpst on win 8 thats my trouble?do i need to use win 7? Any of u guys can lgnpst flash factory img on my phone ........

Tell what went wrong with hte LGNPST attempt. It's almost impossible to help, if we don't know what specifically went wrong.

At the install of the last components i got error 171....what that means is above me ...bat maybe i need to do more research....

So it just said "Error 171"? How far into the process did it get, before you got the error? Most people error out at 85% with a restored phone.

Looks like a LGNPST install issue. Did you do the install per the instructions in the LGNPST on Windows 8 thread, found in the Optimus G General section?

Im using canvas hd a 116....n i was rooting my phone by the method shown in the video by cursed for eva
but whem im using sp flash tool.... n folling the instructions my phone iis not getting dedected in my laptop..... plz helpp....

Which OS is installed on your laptop. You have not installed the drivers. After you tell me which OS you have and it's architecture (64 or 32 bit) I may be able to point you further.

instead of using sp tools
download FRAMAROOT app nd thn it ll be easy to root ur fon without PC:good:

i have windows 7 home basic..... n it is 64 bit os...n i have installed the drivers allready...

had u turned the usb debugging on??
This is available at http://opensource.dell.com/releases/venue8/developer-edition/
No need to install drivers or mess around with a host system. Just in case the drivers are also posted in case you end up bricking the device and have to restore it.

already tested device in available list.

I had updated to 5.1 for serval months, and has been refreshed 5.1 recently. Unfortunately, after first reboot system, I need to connected WIFI to finish registry, but system told "couldn't connect to the internet". I refresh again and not worked, it still couldn't connect to the internet.
If you have any suggestion to fixed this problem? Or, how can I degrade back to 5.0? Now I cannot use "Adb sildeload" command flash 5.01 OTA file.

sry this is the best, easiest and most successful method, try solving your problems step by step cause this works 100%
