I got it today after selling my xpeira play, and its just pure epic and its my first tab so happy to own it.
But this is from japan, and its locked to docomo I guess. When i insert my sim it says to enter the unlock code
So is there anyway to unlock this?
Thanks for every comment

Your network service provider must be able to give you the unlock code!

Nope, I called em and asked.. they said look for a third party as its illegal for em to give the code to me.,
there where number generators back in the old sim unlocking days, you need imei, phone type, and serviceprovider where the tablet came with.
Dont know if they still make that kind of generators but you can always try

Come on it's totally rubbish!! they should be able to give you the code upon you providing them with identification! This is what service providers doing here and I got my forgotten sim unlock code once from 3. The code prevents improper/unauthorized use, e.g. someone stole your phone and put the sim card in his own mobile phone.
Or you can try reporting loss of your sim card and ask for replacement card with the unlock code.
Hope this information helps.

Thank you for your advice. I think you misunderstand here. We are not talking about 4-digit "PIN Code". We are talking about "SIM Network Unlock Code" which is locked by a provider who don't want us to use other provider's sim card with the phone.

I know it's not the 4 digit PIN Code. Misunderstanding maybe. Here we only have two unlock code set by the service providers, the first one is as described in my previous post, the other is the device unlock code to lock the phone and will only be disclosed upon contract expiry (some service provider will not provide this code to clients but simply unlock the phone upon contract expiry).

Thank you again for the suggestion. I think it's difficult in my case because I bought the Tablet from Japan but I'm using it in Thailand. So, I might try to contact DOCOMO to ask for sim network unlock code.

Hi guys,
I have an Xperia X10 which was purchased with an Orange contract but would like to give it to my younger brother since I've now got a new phone. The problem is my X10 is locked onto Orange and my brother is on Tesco. Is there a way to unlock the phone? I assume I can take the phone to Orange and they will unlock it for me but I'm sure they will charge for this. Is there a way to unlock it for free?
Any help would be very much appreciated

You can make a unlock code request to orange by calling their customer care executive. But i don't know how much they are charge to unlock your Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 phone. But they will ask you to wait for some days or even some months to provide unlock code. Also they won't
give the code at free of cost.So better you can get the code from online provider like Theunlockarena.com .

This type of post is frustrating. If you want to promote a site, just be upfront about it.
Our name on here is mobileunlocked and if we ever link to ourselves, it's to be useful for people who are actually still looking for help. Not threads were the person clearly doesn't need advice any more.

Network Lock
Please HELP...
is there any way to unlock network or sim unlock by flashing or debranding it? or changing firmware on it?
I have Sony Xperia SO-01b NTT DOCOMO and i would like to unlock network on it or sim unlock on it.
Dear all,
I bought Xperia X10i from Ebay and it was locked on T-mobile UK.
I used in car charger and the USB broke. I then bought external charger for the phone. I have now gifted my phone to my cousin who is unable to unlock the phone due to USB charging that does not work.
I have called T-Mobile who told me that I have to purchase a SIM card and keep topping it up for few months then call back to ask for unlock code.
Is it possible to unlock Xperia X10i using just IMIE number? I am willing to pay of course.
If someone could help me I would appreciate it.
Cheers,
Markus
Hi all,
I bought LG G5 in Bosnia and Herzegovina and it worked with BH Mobile SIM card. Now I have gone out of the country and put in different SIM card, and it asks me to enter network sim unlock pin. I bought phone in a store, not from the operator directly so I expected it to be unlocked.
While I'm trying to get them send me unlock code, I am also looking online for a solution, but so far I see the only possibility is to use online unlocking services. However, I see there are a lot of fake ones, so I'd like to ask if there is any reputable source for unlocking the SIM or it's best to take the phone to some of the phone service stores and ask them to unlock it for a fee?
Thank you for your help.
Regards,
So my elder brother who is working in Japan bought a new phone and he gave me this Sony Xperia XZ1. I wish to sim unlock this phone, though I see that it is already hard locked. Is there any way to do this?
