Hi all!
I think i am going to buy this desire 601 as my new smartphone. So i am reading a lot of information here on xda. I hear a lot talking about ZARA_CL and ZARA_UL so i was wondering what this is all about.
I know that the codename for the HTC Desire 601 is "Zara", but i don't know what CL and UL mean.
Thanks in advance.

UL is GSM + LTE
CL is CDMA
DTU = TD-SCDMA + WCDMA / GSM dual standby 2SIM slot
DUG = WCDMA / GSM + GSM dual standby 2SIM slot
DWG = CDMA2000/WCDMA/GSM + GSM dual standby 2SIM slot
TL = TD-SCDMA/TD-LTE/FDD-LTE?
UL = WCDMA / GSM / FDD-LTE
U = WCDMA / GSM
ULA = WCDMA / GSM / LTE-Advanced FDD?
WL = CDMA2000/WCDMA/GSM/FDD-LTE
WHL = CDMA2000/WCDMA/GSM/FDD-LTE/TDD-LTE
UHL = GSM / WCDMA / FDD-LTE / TDD-LTE

I know it's a WCDMA / GSM phone, do i follow instructions for GSM hero phones or CDMA Hero phones?
I checked the specs of Sprint CDMA and it doesn't have GSM on it so i guess i have to go with GSM instructions.
Can anyone confirm please...
The Telus Hero is a GSM Hero.
indeed.
Note that CDMA and WCDMA are not the same thing.
WCDMA is the 3G evolution of GSM, whereas CDMA is a joke
Thanks a lot!
Hello Guys
Just want to know if HTC HD2 US version supports GPRS/EDGE capabilities? As per the website,
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
WCDMA/HSPA: 1700 MHz (AWS) / 2100 MHz
Also want to know what is the difference between the US version and the international version of HTC HD2?
Am thinking to buy phone from US to use in India. Please help me decide.
Thankss

Based on the device models, all HD2 are the same with only one exception and that is the USA T-Mouse HD2 device.
Take a look for comparing; link
Yes, all HD2's support GPRS/EDGE on any GSM carrier worldwide, however, the T-Mobile US HD2 only has support for T-Mobile US 3G bands, and may or may not recieve 3G data from a carrier in India.
Looking on google I found several models of EVO 3D, however I could not find the differences between them. I also searched the forum.
I want to buy a EVO 3D to use in Brazilian´s GSM TIM carrier (3G - 2100MHz and some times 850MHz), I think the correct model is the X515m, but X515a also seems to work.
Can someone help me understand what are the differences between these models?
(I want a Android cell with 3D pictures, there are another good options?)

I'm also very interested in seeing the answer to this question. As far as build models of the device, I was only aware of two, shooter (CDMA) and shooteru (GSM).
I'm not sure where the different variations of the GSM models provide the unique identification in their software. Also, haven't seen anything definite around here on different GSM versions operating on different frequency bands.
As far as I've seen, the only difference in these GSM devices could be operating frequency as all other features and internal device identification seem to be fairly similar between them.
Hope somebody with some GSM knowledge can post up and clarify!
I dont no if it's a correctly information but I found this:
:: X515a (negrielectronics.com/htc-evo-3d-gsm-unlocked.html)
2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 MHz
:: X515m (negrielectronics.com/htc-x515m-evo-3d-black.html)
2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 900 / 2100
So I need a EVO 3D GSM x515a

Hi friend..
well as i can read on Wikip.edia, Telus and Bell Mobility work on HSPA 850 & 1900 MHz. At&T, work on HSPA 850 & 1900 MHz and also on GSM 850 & 1900 MHz.
In the specifications of Mozart by HTC site you can see:
HSPA/WCDMA: 900/2100 MHz
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
so i think Mozart can work good only on AT&T that have GSM protocol.... but i saw also on Canadian HTC site and i found that HCT provide HTC Surround branded Telus... i search for specifications and i see:
UMTS/HSPA – 850/1900/2100Mhz
Quad-band GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900Mhz
..practically the same!
I cannot try that cause im in Italy... but i think it work good too.
Hope i helped you a bit! SEE YAA

Free Mobile:
WCDMA 900/2100 (plus roaming on Orange), LTE 2600

You will not have LTE with this Network Operator (edit: and with this version of Honor 7 - PLK-UL00).

And if I wrote that Free Mobile does not support LTE?
LTE 2600
I wrote that PLK-UL00 (one of the Chinese version of Honour 7) can not handle the LTE 2600.
(Of course, if those pages give real data).

Oups sorry, I missed the end of your sentence.
Free got over 5000 x LTE2600 cell towers and 27 LTE1800 (lol)
The chinese Honor 7 specs are not clear though .
I have TL01H dual sim (FDD 1800-2100) but my phone still use 4g from SFR (800-2600)...weird.
