[QUESTION] Stuck @ this screen. - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Greetings!!!
A friend just sold me an S6 Edge (G925F) and when I power up the phone, I get stuck at this screen:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
When I press Vol up (Continue) I get stuck in a bootloop.
How can I get around this issue??? Do I need to reinstall the OS??? If yes, can anyone give me some directions on how can I successfully flash it.
Thanks in advance!!!
Regards,

No you just press all the 3 bittons and wait 5 sec and it will boot up.

Did you fix it?
Sent from my SM-G925K using XDA mobile app

if flashing via odin gives the same result, please send the phone to samsung if it is still under warranty. i have the same problem but samsung service centre fixed it by changing the main board and battery.

I have re-read the initial post and giving it a second thought, i think that we are dealing with a stolen device.
Fix it, sell it back to your "friend" and tell him to give it back to it's rightful owner.
I'm out!

You need to be more precise about what's happening etc. This screen is not the first thing you see when you turn on the phone normally. Does it go straight to this screen or not.
If you press volume up here your phone should enter download mode in which you can flash a stock rom with odin. That your phone bootloops upon pressing volume up is kinda impossible normally because pressing up does not initialize the boot sequence or whatever, it just continues to the next screen. But seriously the screen you posted, that's not how the download mode should look on the g925f.. Home button does not show a barcode for our devices.
This is how it should look:
The colors are weird and the text about the Home button should not be there. Also at the top on your phone, the samsung brand logo also looks different than it should. Or is your phone inside a casing?

GS2 sgh-i777 bricked?

None of the other posts I have read really seemed to answer what exactly happened to my phone.
I recently rooted my GS2 using ODIN and everything went over perfectly .
I noticed soon after that when the phone was turned on, the Samsung screen would appear, have a yellow triangle with an '!' in it, and also say I9100 (Which was the immediate give away something wasn't right).
Before I could do anything to the phone to fix the issue, the phone shut off on me, and now won't turn back on.
I have tried booting into recovery and download modes and can't get past the initial screen. The phone also will not charge.
When I connect it to the PC, it is recognized as a Samsung device, but not in ODIN.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT:
After troubleshooting, I gained access to download mode. Reflashed, and everything is okay.
Also that i9100 screen with the yellow triangle is normal. There are posts about how to remove the triangle by flashing a stock kernel or you can buy a jig on ebay.

please don't give information unless you know enough about the issue. Its awesome to try and help. But if you end up costing someone more time and aggravation by guessing or not knowing if you're right or not its almost better to let someone else field the question. As previously stated there's an app that fixes this.

Yupp exactly
Hi guys..Sorry for use this thread to expose my case. Yesterday late, I intended to replace the kernel in my Galaxy2 and I don't know why the phone do not pass over the original screen (see attach). No access to Recovery or Download mode is available. I tried to unroot and start again all the process when I felt a soft brick in the pass, but still no access to Download mode that permit me to access via ODIN and reinstall kernel and recovery to solve the problem.
Any suggestions??
ROM Task JB latest release 0830
Dream Kernel
EDIT. After a long fight with my phone using ODIN, Doomroot and other tools, thanks God, it's solve. Thanks.

use Odin 3.0X version..
if it does not work then check the drivers..reinstall them..
try different usb ports or different cable..
I changed the version
and I got this :
It looks like you are not in download mode or your phone is not communicating with your computer properly.
As said before...have you installed your drivers? The easyest way is with kies. Which usb cable are you using? If not, try using the one samsung provided with your phone.

yes it's in download mode [ power + volume down + home button ]
and I just tried 2 usb ports and got this
1) Drivers installed?
2) Is Kies running as a background process?... kill it/them (or reboot/unintstall Kies)
3) Try another pc
4) Try another cable
One (or more) of the above will work.

Samsung Galaxy s3 NOT ROOTED stuck at Logo Screen

I know this has been asked dozens if not hundreds of times, but it seems everyone has bricked their phone by rooting.
My phone has never been rooted, and I have had it working fine for at least 9 months now.
It was working all day and when I got home from school I plugged it into the charger the same as every night and when I woke up it was stuck on the "Samsung Galaxy III" screen.
I have no idea how to fix this please help, I cannot get into recovery mode it just says "recovery 'something'" and disappears quickly then shows the Logo Screen again before shutting off.
I can get into download mode and I guess I have to start from there.
I don't want to do a wipe without at least getting into it in safe mode somehow and backing up some things, please help.
Oh and if it helps no new software was added since the last reboot, the only thing I could think of that changed from it working fine to this morning was my alarm? It was supposed to go off sometime in the morning maybe that froze it up? Other than that I have no idea why it would brick all of a sudden

The i9300 has a bug that wipes out the internal memory and causes symproms like yours, however I think only the i9300 has this bug.

if it does not go to download mode or recovery, the only option is to take it to Samsung Service, tell them that you were trying to upgrade with Samsung kies, PC conked off and you are stuck.
If it is under warranty they will replace the motherboard for you.
Please click on the thanks button if you think I helped

[ROM][LOLLIPOP][FACTORY IMAGE] Omate TrueSmart +

This is just a factory backup of the new Lollipop ROM for users with the TrueSmart +.
This is *NOT* for the original TrueSmart (yet), so if you format and download this to your original unit (you know, the one not running Lollipop) you will not be able to boot it.
Get the download here: Factory Image (Flash in SP Flash Tool)
Does the word "yet" mean, that you are working on it for the original truesmart?? That whould be awesome!

You still didn't answer my question. Why are you flashing a full backup on a unit that isn't malfunctioning?
New to this, so pardon the ignorance...
Is this file meant to be a back up, in case our TS+ starts to go haywire? As in, I would plug it into the computer, delete all files, and put this file on instead to "reset" it back to the original state? Thanks, your help is appreciated.

These are more or less 1:1 images of the TS+ so yes, in case you somehow need up your watch you should be fine to flash it.
I honestly would only flash the system image, as that would be the only thing you'd need to replace.

Please contact [email protected] and send back your watch to our service center and we will only make you pay the shipment fee back to you ($20) but it will take a few months from reception and you must use a logistic with a tracking number when you send the unit back to us. The service will cost Omate $40 for this reflashing. In the future do NOT do things you do not know.

3.10.67 is ancient, even for Lollipop. If I remember correctly Lolli started at 3.10.62, and last time I looked was up to 3.10.90. So pretty much every commit is missing.
I took a pic of the screen. 3.10.72 is the version.
