Hello, since yesterday my honor7 started to play music, videos, and also streaming videos/music slighlty faster than normal, let's say it is x1.2.
I can notice this also looking at the timing bar in player, seconds flow faster than real seconds.
Last days I was playing a bit with Tasker doing some batches for GPS and location, but i think this cant be the cause. Nonsense.
I searched a lot around the web and found lot of people having this kind of problem, but not exactly this one, they found their device playing a lot faster (i.e. 2x, 3x, chipmunkie style). So i couldn't find any solution for now.
I am on b170, unlocked, twrp, rooted.
Any help is really appreciated!
Thanks!
uninstalled CPU Tuner (old legacy app no more supported) and looks to be fine again.

Like the title says. Phenomenon is pretty structured: every 3 seconds I get a drop in achieved frame rate, followed by a catchup at above intended frame rate. Sound stays linear.
It is isolated to the app, as youtube videos play fluent in all my mobile browsers. I've even tried clocking down my CPU, and browser-based playback is still brilliant.
I'm on Huawei U8860 Honor (GB).
Been fighting this for weeks on and off, but since I learned how to play 720p in the app, I really want it to work.
Any help is appreciated. I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything, and it's symptomatic across different ROMs.
I have a new 1.5g dual sim clone s4. It is running Jellybean 4.2.1. Everything works well except for Netflix. Youtube runs great, video capture is good. I read the forums and did a search, most of the info is before this type of chip is used. I need help fixing the phone. netflix will only do audio, and it will show the captions. We can use the tool bar to fast froward the movie and it will show the movie clips, yet when it buffers to that point in the movie it will buffer and the screen goes dark (video won't play at all) but my question is this, WHY? what had occurred in the chinese making these knockoffs that this would happen? I have tried older versions of Netflix, called netflix, troubleshot the phone with them and no luck.
I have rooted my kindle, I have rooted my HP pad, but this seems to be a minor issue with the phone and 4.2?
Simply reloading a new rom or "here's a new download" doesn't answer the question of why is this happening???? Is it a simple fix I am not seeing? These phones are unlocked and supposedly rooted already, what am I missing? Thanks from a father who wants to learn............
I've been having a problem since I got my LG G Stylo from Boost. When watching videos and listening to music using any app capable of doing so, the video or music will pause itself randomly and after a bit it will start playing again or it will play after I manually un-pause it. I'm not sure what's causing it. I know some newer and more expensive phones have features that will pause video if the phone detects that you aren't looking at it but these features usually apply to video, not music and even at that my phone doesn't seem to have that feature as I cannot locate a setting control for it. This happens in any app that can play video including videos played in Chrome and it happens in any app that is capable of music playback, which the only two I have are the native music app and Google Play Music. I've read on the internet that it could be caused by another app on my phone but I don't have any apps capable of doing this. I've also read that this can happen when switching networks but my phone is on WiFi most of the time and only switches to 4G when leaving the house which isn't that often. I don't see any reason why this would be happening. I've never had this problem with any other phone and I don't really have any apps on this phone that I didn't have on my last phone. Note that this is my first phone running Lollipop (5.1.1) and I'm starting to think that Android itself is the culprit but I'm not sure. I recently rooted my phone but the problem existed before that and I had the phone for over a month before I attempted root. This is really annoying and I'd like to be able to fix it so anything helps, thanks.
yeah
Resolved the issue. It was Telegram 3.5.1 that caused the problem. I'm on 3.6.1 Now and the issue has gone.

Hello there.
I just bought the OPX and it's a great device (except for the camera, of course)
But I have this weird video player problem.
videos are lagging and stuttering everywhere! twitter, youtube, browser, anywhere! except if I used an external player like (mx player) it goes kinda smooth.
I tried to disable nuplayer (or enable it, I don't remember but I changed the default state ) and got to nowhere. Same thing.
I've came across some webpages of people having a similar problem, yet no one have offered a proper solution.
I'm on the latest OTA oxygen update, just bought my phone 3 days ago so I didn't even have time to mess around
really looking to fix this problem ASAP because it's annoying, VERY annoying.
May be reset will work out!
Do a factory reset, or replace the device to a new one!
I guess I would do a reset when I'm totally out of ideas.
any sugs?

Try Awesome Player in developer options
Blu-spark kernel really improve the experience with the OPX. But I still have this problem sometimes.
I noticed that it's not on all vids on the youtube app for ex. It should be related to the video format (of course, worse on 1080p) & codecs/encoding properties (VBR ou CBR) or the servers the video is on. My data speed transfer is not the issue on that.
Tried awesome player, nothing changed.

so what do you suggest beside changing the kernel?
2 days ago, or so, my screen mirroring was working well (yeah, it lags a lot, but we're talking about a Xperia M4). Today I had to study, the presentations that I needed to read were on the device, so I decided to use the screen mirroring and put some music to study...here starts the problem. When I opened the music app, it worked well for less than 2 seconds...then the phone got....damaged? I dunno. The thing is, if I open the music app, I get stuck on the screen mirroring (Yes, nor the screen mirroring, nor the phone can be turned off, just using the little button on the SD card slot). Also this will bug the phone completely, making it act like it had around 10mb free ram (And it has 40% free ram, so, it's just the phone acting weird). CPU usage is also normal, half of the cores arround 300-900mhz, half arround 1000mhz. Help me please, what can be doing this? I thought it was an app that changes navbar color, but I uninstalled it and the problem remains. Also the music app is factory restored. Oh, and in case you're wondering, the phone is NOT rooted.
Also, if you could help me remove the album app, it'd be great (I want to replace it with the Jellybean model, since I use MX player, also, Jellybean's version is way more beautiful and clean).
Nevermind.

So, while I was writing this message and searching for solutions on the web, I left the phone, mirroring its screen and DOING NOTHING, and PHONE DISCONNECTED showed on the TV. Then I discovered that it was due to a senseless reboot on the phone... And it fixed it! Actually, screen mirroring works better than never.
