[Question] How to watch telecine directly from webbrowser on android device - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, I have a galaxy tab s 10.5 and I'd like to know if there is a way to watch telecine direct from my webbrowser. I have a regular plan cable tv. Everytime I try to watch a message appears suggesting to download the telecine play app but I want to watch only on webbrowser, just like I do in my computer using windows. Is that possible?

[Q] [q] stream movies from pc to tab 10.1 to tv

So, i searched and could not find was i what looking for...
Here is what i would like:
1) PC with movie on harddisc (and for instance tversitiy)
2) stream to galaxy tab (have it working with skifta/rockplayer)
3) connect galaxy tab to tv with HDMI connection
Result --> play movie from pc on tv via wifi
O, and what would be great even greater --> use my HTC desire android phone as a remote control (like pausing and fast forward)
What do you guys think.... is this possible????
you could do that with ES files Explorer
- install ES
- select the folders you want to share on Windows
- open ES files and click LAN then MENU--> NEW--> SCANNER--> it should display your computer with the local IP as name (no need to wait for the scan to end just click BACK)
- click on the media file to open and choose stock player to read it
- you know the rest !
if a file doesnt open with a simple press, just make a long press and select "open as" and select whatever it is
not exactly what i ment.
I know how to play movies on my galaxy tab.... question is, can i play these movie also on tv with a hdmi adapter? And next... could i use my htc desire as a remote controle to use?

1. You would need an HDMI cable that you can connect to your tv and tab. But as far as I know and can find out the Galaxy doesn't have or support HDMI output.
See the specs here: http://gadgetian.com/10288/samsung-galaxy-tab-10-1-specs-price-2/
It could be possible to do if you can find a HDMI mirroring app like the one I use for my eVo4g, as far as I know their isn't one that would work on Honeycomb.
2. As for using your Desire as a remote, you'd have to find a app that could control what ever media player you use, either through wifi or bluetooth. You might be able to find one on the market. You could also try one of those remote desktop apps on the market.

If your tv supports DLNA push then you can use Skifta to stream to tv without any wires.
I don't have a tv with DLNA support, so i connected my tv to pc as a secondary display and i use Skifta basically as a remote control. I use windows built in media server, it supports DLNA push on win7.

Skifta is on my tablet, i use it to browse my movie library (it's on my PC) and select play to PC (it outputs picture to my TV). Hope this makes sense, English is not my native language so it's hard for me to explain it.
Basically i sit on my couch, holding the tablet and using Skifta app to control whats playing on my TV.

You will need to purchase the HDMI dongle that samsung offers. It attaches to the bottom connector of the tab. Just like how the IPad's do.

I'm turning an S3 into home multimedia center/DLNA device, help please

Ok I have a spare S3 which i'm not going to use, so i plan to plug it to a TV via HDMI and use it as a multimedia center.
So from what i can see I need 2 things.
1. good app to wirelessly sync files between PC, Tablet, Smartphone and the S3 (option to stream media from the PC would be great as well)
2. A program to remote control the S3 from my other android smartphone
any other advise for the setup is welcome
no suggestions whatsoever? :>
Final attempt to get some advises
i don#t know of any app that is able to handle both, but as a start you might look at xbmc, wich actually is a media center, also avaliable for android.
i'd give you links to sites where you can download it (it's still in beta), but i have not enough posts to do so. you should google XBMC android chip.de
or
xbmc android androidpit
or somtething like this.

[Q] Airplay like setup to stream Sky Go to PC?

Just spent 10mins setting up Airplay Mirroring on my iphone 4 to try and stream Sky Go / Sky Sports App to my PC however i got to the final part where i realised that it only works on 4S and above not the ip4.
Then i got to thinking is there a similar option that can let me do this on Android? Basically my PC is connected to my TV via HDMI... i want to stream whats on my screen of my Galaxy S3 or Nexus 7 and output it on PC, is this possible?

[Q] Debating on buying a new tablet. One question.

Hi everyone. I am thinking about buying a Samsung Galaxy Tab S for my grandma. She watches her shows on tv but when she misses a show, she always asks me to put it on my laptop for her to watch. This gets in the way of my work and it's very annoying. I found out that Adobe does not support flash player for android anymore. The tv shows that she misses, she usually watches online. If I get her the Galaxy Tab S, will the online videos still work? Is there an alternative to Adobe Flash Player that the online videos that use Flash will use? If so can you please list the names of them? I just do not want to buy a tablet and find out that the shows do not work. She does not use one specific website for her shows. We just type the shows name on Google and we type the date and whatever comes up we just use it. Usually we only use 3 websites.

[Q] Best 'Screen Mirroring App' ????

Hi Everyone,
I was just trying the different apps for Screen Sharing from the Tab (SM-P601, Android 4.3) to a Windows Laptop/Desktop.
I came across 2 apps:
1. MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy
However, this needs to Install receiver device (additional Receiver software) on the computer, which is not always possible, when i am in someone else's office on a desktop locked with Admin password.
2. Screen Stream Mirroring trial
This app enables to broadcast to 'Google chrome' or 'VLC Player' or even on 'YouTube'. On VLC Player, it can even be recorded. But at the present moment, on Android 4.3, it gives me error on 'Hardware Rendering Format'. As a result, the broadcast is very slow and laggy.
However, both these apps require that the Tablet and the Computer be connected to the same WiFi Network.
Does anyone has any better options/ideas ?? A better App ??
Try shou
Side Sync 3.0
Is there any reason your not using this ? I mirror my Note 10.1 and Note 4 to my Windows 8 laptop this way just fine.
Did you ever get this to work? I have not been successful with my note and HP laptop. Do you have any notes about your setup? Versions of the client and server?
thanks
Try teamviewer, download teamviewer on pc and quicksupport teamviewer at play store, then just connect, or alternate use mobizen. Both tested and working.
Goodluck...
