Hi all, i have moded the stock ICS Camera for xperia u to record higher quality video/audio.
The stock camera captures 12MBps video & 128 Kbps audio.
The moded camera captures 17.5 MBps video & 224 Kbps audio.
The resulted audio/video is great AND.. for a ~5 minutes recording it takes ~600MB , so its not for everyone

instructions:
Put the zip on sd-card, boot in to cwm, wipe cache partition, wipe dalvik cache, install the zip, reboot, go to Setting>Apps>All and clear data and force stop for the "Camera", DONE!
I have uploaded the stock camera so that you can revert again(the same way) if you don't like need it..

I have no idea if it will work on GB, you can backup your GB SemcCamera3D.apk and SemcCameraUI.apk , and then try it.

Which link is broken? I tried to download the ISCstockCam_17.5MBps_224Audio now and no problems.

Xperia U of course. But you won't find Xperia u in xdadev options. It's needed to search sola or p and then select xu forum

Nobody reported if it boots. But I think so, and everything working, is stock based so no hardware bugs.

I didnt download and flash to say it was complete.. so i wrote like dat.. bcoz of my broadband problem...
This was what I always wanted to be the final version of FlyingThor...
Will update how this is once I flash this on my XU..

Because there are no OTA's yet.
Okay I changed test status to stable. It's working perfectly, just the advanced volume bug(first time you turn up or down the volume on each boot i will give fc)

bro thanks for the rom, it s going really good, but on first boot if u increase volume or decrease volume, it s fc, even in settings, movies, one time android.phone has stopped, immediatelly it gets ok, now every thing is working, u have mentioned in op samsung sounds, but it is only for touch sounds, i search in ring tones, all r from sony only, any how all r working fine here, keep up the good work, will wait for further updates, particularly looks r awesome in phone book, popups , thank u very much.:good:

I know that sir. This is the smoothest TW rom i have ever use. But this problm is because of kernel used in this rom.
Some roms gave me dark green camera. But changing the kernel solved it. But in this rom after changing the kernel both sdcards r nt mounting. Dont know what is the difference between these kernels. I think it is because of ramdisk ? Plz do reply

If your model is All6i then you have to change the boot.img in the zip and then flash it else you will face issues like file manager not working or primary camera green color. I experienced this on my A116i.

You can go for S5 Sensation ROM V7 if u want stable and fast S5 feeling in ur S3
You can also wait for few more days for Glamour S5 V8 ROM!
Or else if you want a stock 4.4.2 ROM then you can go for QS note 2 port!

One thing to note here , choose any room of your liking, but better not install s5 apps. You might face ram issues. Using s5 sensation rom for 4 days and it is smooth and working great with minimal s5 apps

I would recommend paranoid 4.6 beta1 or Blekota s5 v7
Can't vouch for others mentioned as i havent used other Sammy roms
it depend if u prefer Samsung features (with some lag but good camera for example....) or u prefer phone more speedy but without Samsung features!
so...
about 4.4.2 exist:
- PORT ROM from note 2 (with samsung features)
- AOSP ROM like cyanogen and all others (more speedy but without samsung features)
only u can decide!!
if you want kk (stock) with out s5 features then QS-i9300-KK is gud option.
