Hi All,
Well guys this is my first post, I've been reading XDA for about 3 months but this is the first time I'm actually posting
Well here is my problem I tried to unloock the bootloader of my device using some of the contents provided by the FXP team I've been running all their CM releases and everything worked fine except for this unlocking of the bootloader at first my devide wasnt detecting any radio signal so I went and downloaded the S1 tool to relock my boot loader I rollback to 2.1 to do so the tool worked properly and I finally had my X10 with radio and wifi working HOWEVER the problem is that my 3g network is not being detected I tried enable data and disable data, changing baseband, etc etc all using 2.1 so I guess the bootloader still messed up any idea what should be doing? Any logs that I need to check? any specific file that i need to download and install?
I m thinking what if I unlock it again? Perhaps you can help me on this matter I out of ideas now...
Thanks again guys! hopefully you can help me on this...
Do you have your carrier's APN info set up on your phone? With no APN, no data!
if m not wrong friend and u r still using 2.1 then 2.1 doesnt automatically detects the APN, u need to download from the carrier or enter manually and select the network to just WCDMA and see if u r getting 3g network.. in 2.3 it automatically downloads the APN in almost all the ROMS available !!
Hi
I believe that my phones radio capabilities may be disabled. I tried to root my phone but ended up flashing it with an ftf file and now i cant connect to my mobile network with my phone, Ive tried multiple simcards and flashing my phone a few times with different ftf files.
Everything else on my phone seems to be working fine except ability to connect to mobile network carrier.
I cant unlock the bootloader or use s1tools because it cant recognise the certificate or something like that, I can flash and root the phone though.
can i save my phone and how?
Hi
Today i flashed and rooted my unlocked xperia x10i with flashtool and the provided .ftf file, "X10_V1_BLRelock.ftf". Pretty much after that my phone had been reset and i couldn't connect to my mobile network.
During the initial setup after the flash, my phone asked me to "Please insert sim card and restart your phone", Now in the drop down bar is has a "No service, selecting network (yes optus) is unavailable). Originally with this phone and my x10a the other networks had a red circle indicating i couldn't access them however right now i can try to connect to all of them but fail. everytime i try to connect i get the message "Your simcard does not allow connection to this network". My APN list is blank but it has always been blank.
My simcard works in another phone, other simcards dont work in my phone. I tried flashing my phone again and rooting it again, with multiple ftf files. I was going to try installing another rom for jellybean, but i cant because my adb drivers are stuffed and ill figure that out later if need be.
I live in australia and the imei is fine, hasnt changed and im not even sure if that would effect the phone from functioning here. I have no idea is its affected the phones radio or frequencies if supposed to function on, help would be greatly appreciated.
I cant receive or make phone calls, texts messages, anything that relies upon me being connected to my carrier. everything else seems to work fine including my home internet. i also used that *#*#4636#*#* and that didnt really tell me anything i dont think.
Phone: Xperia x10i, unlocked
Running: android 2.3.3,
baseband version: 2.1.71
If you require any other information, ill post it up, not that sure what would be needed to figure this out.
Hi. After rooting my moto e xt1021 I flashed cyanogenmod. That resulted in a bootloop. So, via TWRP, I restored my phone to before it was rooted. However, I soon noticed that instead of saying Sainsburys, it now said no service. I then decided to try searching for networks by going into settings, more, mobile networks, network operators. Once there, it displays no operators. Then, when I press search for network, it says "Error while searching for networks. When trying to make a call it just says "to make a call, please turn off aeroplane mode." Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix this.
I have also noticed that the GPS can't get a fix on satalites.

Tried that. I also tried relocking the bootloader via adb. That failed with an error about the system image.
Sounds like wrong radio flashed. Does the stock rom have.. lets see, Sainsbury, so UK radio? Can that be flashed separately?

Yes, I did flash the wrong radio AFTER the issue occurred. Now, it won't boot up or enter recovery or bootloader. Could someone please provide me with the correct UK radio images for my phone?
I think that I may have flashed the wrong version of the OS after getting stuck in the bootloop. The OS was blur version 20.82 I think. However, my phone had a higher version. Would this make a difference? Also, please could somebody provide me with links of the correct software as the downloads I found were down?
I dunno if you guys sorted out this issue, as I have the same problem. There are downloads here http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e/development/rom-stock-motorola-lollipop-rom-t3167111 which I feel should help, though I'm not able to test yet as I don't have my USB cable with me. Scroll down the page there a bit and there is a link to "Lollipop Radio Firmware:".
Well the radio in the last link didn't work for but all good now after flashing the retail UK firmware ROM for my XT1021 via http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2755857

Does anyone know if there is a way to bypass att tether blocking without root? I'd like to at least be able to Bluetooth or USB tether to my android auto unit in my car.

Pdanet will allow USB and Bluetooth tether
Does it have US Cellular carrier branding or bloatware?
Pda Net is really bad. I continuously loose Bluetooth connection all the time....and only transmits. 0.60mbs. Also, can only connect 1 device at a time.
I was wondering if anyone
Flashed the at&t CSC file to get Volte working while using US cellular stock rom ?
Unlock tethering:
Install Sprint ROM, Check tethering and flash AT&T System (AP).
Everything will be stock and tethering is unlocked.
Follow the below steps
1. Flash Sprint Note 7 ROM upto Step6 listed in the below forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-note-7/how-to/root-based-off-super-leaky-brother-t3448430
ie,
1. Unlock developer mode , turn oem unlock and usb debugging on
2. Put Phone is download mode
3. Flash Sprint engineering rom
4. Once flash is complete and the phone reboots put it back in download mode before it boots (if not you will be waiting a while)
5. Flash all the files From the stock ATT rom except the sytem file , leave out the ap file
6. After second flash is complete wait for the phone to boot.
Check for tethering - Mobile hotspot should turn on without any verifications.
Shutdown the phone and go back to Download mode and flash the 'AT&T stock AP file'
That is it. when the phone is booted up, it'll be AT&T Stock ROM with tethering unlocked.

NO.
This will NOT WORK after the recent ATT Green battery software update. It'll brick your phone if you try.

Phone displays "Network Locked SIM Card" Inserted after flashing a stock firmware
I recently uninstalled Magisk, and was able to only boot into download mode after. So, I downloaded a stock firmware for my s9+ 965f and flashed it through odin (using AP,BL, CP, CSC(didnt select HOME CSC). But after rebooting, the phone displays "Invalid SIM. Network Locked SIM Card Inserted".
It asks for PUK code to unlock the phone and the cellular service alone is not working now. My phone is already region unlocked and I have been using it for the past 8 months. Has anybody got this issue and any suggestions on how to solve it?
Previous OS: soldierx rom for 965f v12 on Oreo
What I did,
i) uninstall all modules in magisk,
ii) uninstall magisk,
iii) phone auto-reboot
iv) Now phone stuck in download mode. Cannot boot it
v) downloaded stock firmware G965FXXU2BRGA
vi) flashed through Odin(AP,BL,CP,CSC)
vii) Phone completely formatted and boots up.
"Error:Invalid SIM card inserted. Network Locked SIM card detected "
I am now being asked for PUK code or cellular service wont work
You need to contact your carrier for PUK code, its protective measure against too many wrong PIN attempts on specific SIM. Can't fix that with any flashing.

This is where the problem is. You put any sim card in that phone, you get the same error. The sim card works fine if I put in any other phone. I am not sure but unistalling Magisk has caused "SIM Card Read Error" in my S9+. I even upgraded to Pie from Oreo and flashed 3 different stock firmwares but the sim card error exists.
@topjohnwu
I would appreciate if you can help me on this. Not sure how to fix the issue
Looking up the error message itself points to some sort of network/carrier lock. If I am reading regional lock and carrier lock definitions correctly the two are not the same..
Did you have the phone network unlocked or was it network unlocked when you had root installed? If the device was network unlocked when it was rooted and you flashed back to stock (which removes root) this might explain what is going on...

This is an unlocked phone. I had magisk installed and when trying to uninstall it to upgrade to latest magisk, the device wont boot except download mode. So, I downloaded stock firmware and flashed it. Once I boot up with the new stock firmware, I get this error
There is some sort of lock on the phone, which is why your being asked for the code.
I think you should definetly try was what was suggested above.. trying to contact the carrier and see if they can give you the PUK code. If I recall correctly you get a few tries to enter it correctly before it won't let you anymore (and it might lock the phone up good or damage the sim)
I'm having a similar issue on a Verizon A50. Any progress?

depending on what method was used to unlock it, its likely no longer unlocked. some sellers of unlock codes neglect to mention that part. im betting its locked again
