Unfortunately i deleted EVERYTHING in my p8 max.. there are NO DATA and NO SYSTEM files.
There's only the mate s recovery that works.
I tried to flash a zip with the stock firmware inside but the recovery showed me "unable to mount '\system' " and "Zip file is corrupt!" in red.
In addiction, my pc can't even recognize my p8 max, but it shows a connected device called "CRR - L09" that is my phone.
It is shown as an MTP device because I DIDN'T ENABLE THE USB DEBUGGING on my phone.
Is has a folder "internal storage" in which i put my zip with the stock firmware to flash(i said it didn't work) and other 2 sub-folders that are "TWRP" and "obb". Just these two.
My HiSuite(the huawei tool) can't recognize of course my device

bootloader unlocked
twrp installed and working

my pc sees just an mtp device (CRR - L09)
device EMPTY with just an internal storage with other 2 folders (twrp, obb)

I'M SO FRUSTRATED, IF IT'S POSSIBLE I'D LIKE TO HAVE MY PHONE BACK PLEASE :crying::crying:

All,
I've tried everything and I cannot get my PC's to recognise my GS2.
It's not even constant, sometimes I connect it via USB to the PC and it comes up as unrecongised device, other times it will detect as a camera as GT-i9100 (regardless of it I select MTP)... I've reinstalled Kiers I don't know how many times and have even manually installed the drivers but still no luck.
So I gave up with that as I only want to connect to Odin to get rid of this crap software. So I downloaded the CWM root package onto my SD Card and booted into recovery, went to apply the zip and it says it cannot mount /sdcard as not such directory exists?!?! Now I don't have an external SD Card but the .zip file is located on the internal storage in /sdcard/Downloads.
I have a Mac at home that allowed a connection into Kiers first time to update to stock ICS - should I just abandon this trying to connect to Windows and try and find an alternative to Odin for Mac?
Thanks for any help at all.
Dan.
but the .zip file is located on the internal storage in /sdcard/Downloads.
NO try copy pasting update zip file on root of SD card then try....
Edit : this rooting methed you can only try on ICS vesrions
Thanks ZACQ8.
I just thought I'd try another USB cable as a last shot, and OMG it started installing the drivers Still failed to install the Mobile MTP Device but it's getting there...
You have to use the same USB port when you connect your SGSII.
I noticed that if I plugged it into another port the phone would come up as unrecognised - this was all tested on a few PCs when the phone was on GB and connecting as an external hard drive.
I haven't tested if the problem still exists with ICS, as it do 'external hard drive'.
Seems like it was the cable all along...
Phone now recognised in Odin and Device Manager.
Pile of crap.
I've recently flashed my phone with Nemesis kernel using Flashtool, and installed "MoonBreaker 3.5". Unfortunately it is horribly, horribly broken so I have tried to do a full wipe and reinstall. This also failed to work, and somehow wiped my internal storage, so now I have no kernels or roms available on this phone.
The phone boots, but the market doesn't work, downloads app doesn't work, there is no file explorer and no network connection. The phone will not mount as usb storage when booted, or when in CWM recovery. When booted it gives me an "MTP USB Device - Failed" message after attempting to install drivers (win7 and winxp). When in CWM it does nothing at all.
Therefore my question is, how on earth do I get files onto my phone now?

What model of phone do you have? I had the same problem with the Sola (I insanely forgot copy .zip on sdcard before flashing bootloader) and i solved copying the archive on external SD then with CWM selecting Install zip from external sd. Of course this method is not valid if you have Xperia U. In this case or in another case where you haven't any external SD slot try reading this guide.
I have an Xperia P, sorry the forum denied my edit for some reason. Thanks for your ideas!
I've had some success booting into fastboot then, while it's connected, switching to flash mode. Stock kernel reinstalled! Thanks for your help!!

Hi,
This is my first time rooting my HTC One (T-Mobile) and have managed to unlock my bootloader and install TWRP Recovery. Long story short, while attempting to install the latest Android Revolution HD Custom ROM, I seemed to have wiped my whole phone clean and don't even have an operating system anymore.
How can I get the Custom ROM file from my computer to my phone if I don't even have an operating system to boot into? It would be no problem if this phone had an SD card slot, but it doesn't . The only thing I can boot into now is the TWRP Recovery.
I have tried using the MOUNT option in TWRP Recovery, but to no avail. I have also tried to download HTC Sync Manager and the computer still does not recognize my HTC One. All I need is for my computer to recognize my phone and pop up in Windows Explorer so I can copy it into my phone's internal memory and use TWRP Recovery to install the ROM.
P.S. I am using Windows 8.1 64-bit.
PLEASE HELP ME! :'(
I am in the same situation, i have no operating system and can't access the internal storage.
How do I enable usb debugging?
USB OTG
Hi guys,
I just had this same problem. I formatted internal storage and had no OS at all.
I bought a USB OTG wire from Amazon. I put the ROM I wanted to install on a regular USB Drive and connected it using the USB OTG wire.
http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-...e=UTF8&qid=1398213984&sr=8-2&keywords=usb+otg
In TWRP I went to the Mount function and unchecked all boxes except USB OTG. Make sure that's checked. Then, go to install and navigate up folders to the top level folder. Scroll down and the bottom folder will be called USB OTG. Look in there for your ROM.
Install and enjoy!
Now if someone could help me figure out why ADB won't connect: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2727881
Stock Huawei Honor 7i 5.1.1 , not rooted.

So on my PC (Win 10 Pro) with installed SDK and drivers I'm missing only 2 folders that I can see on my phone but can't on my PC – "Android" and "system".
Already tried clearing cache and data from Media Storage and External Storage, rebooting etc. When I try to create "Android" folder on my PC it doesn't change name from "New Folder".
Everything on SD card shows up as it suppsed to, even "Android" folder.
@Oxmaster Sometimes over MTP protocol, some folders are not displayed properly, it's not your device's fault.
And you posted in wrong forum buddy.
I was going to use the Android TV backup files posted by another user, Iv'e successfully flashed TWRP, wiped everything out, but here comes the problem..
The Mi Box won't recognize any of my USB Sticks! I tried like 4 flash drives in FAT32 and multiple USB hubs, and it still won't recognize any of them.
I can't place the new files in the internal storage because the OS is gone.
I have tried to push files / sideload via adb but it wouldn't even show up on my pc as a connected device.
Please help, I don't know how to fix this.. :crying:
