No touch issues for me on SGP771 with Androplus kernel v10, twrp 2.8.7.0, SuperSu v2.46
what are you called a problem With a non working touch ?
I have never noticed it, all works as before. The only problem is reboots with some root apps, but it's still quite usable.

Solved this by flashing SuperSU v2.46 instead.
It seems latest SuperSU releases refuses to work with 5.x.x Sony ROMS / FW:s..

I'm having a problem. I unlocked the bootloader, installed 6.0 and installed TWRP it went great. But then I tried to root the phone first with SuperSu 2.01 and it didn't work, but the phone at least booted. Then I tried 2.65 and it's dead, just showing the screen of Warning Bootloader Unlocked. Tried 2.71 again, but it's the same thing.... what are my options?

And just after the flash, directly reboot on the recovery using the buttons.

So i got into recovery and installed superSU.zip but when i reboot it just boots forever so i went back into recovery and uninstalled superSU with a script.. so my opx is still unrooted; should i be using a different version of superSU or what? the one i flashed in the recovery was 2.46 but it didn't work so i uninstalled it and flashed 2.76 and it gave the same problem

You have to use a special SuperSu version with this config.

Hello,
thanks for your return.
But does not work for me.
I installed :
Firmware 32.3.A.0.376 (Europe central version)
Kernel 42
twrp
but But after restart, I have a bootloop
for nougat you'll need v43
I know. But with kernel 43, twrp does not work with my SGP712 (Frozen screen on twrp)

you "always" read the changelog?
-> known issue
workaround:
fastboot boot TWRP_earlier_working.img
do what you want to do
wait for fixed kernel-TWRP
EDIT:
I had the same touch issue in TWRP after installing Androplus' kernel v43.
So I installed v42. This of course bootloops on Nougat BUT: TWRP works
Then I fired up TWRP, flashed v43 and immediately (same TWRP-session) after that SuperSU
-> Nougat rooted
For a short version see post #6 in this thread.
Thanks you for your returns.

Perhaps you could clarify for me...
You install the Andro kernel in TWRP? I had always understood we were to extract boot.img and flash that in fastboot?
So understanding the steps post 376 install.
Install andro ver42 kernel
Install current TWRP and boot to TWRP
Flash ver43 in TWRP?
Flash supersu in TWRP
reboot
It doesn't seem correct to me so forgive me for asking.
Edit: Doesn't seem to matter what ver I go back to, 42, 40, etc touch on TWRP after doesn't seem to work...
Anyone gone this avenue and played around with a recovery with Magisk? I'm wondering if I should try and get Magisk working with TWRP as well as the rootkernel project I have going on at the moment.
I tried it briefly, but it looks like it will run in to the same problems with TWRP if it is not set up correctly
Have it running without any problems and it even passes SafetyNet: https://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/patched-magisk-v12-sony-devices-t3582331
TWRP 3.1.0.0 in recovery partition "required"

Was TWRP Built with the Suzuran AOSP?
I saw that v12 had a sony fix, which probably fixes the problems I encountered the other week
Hi everyone, I've been having a problem flashing SuperSU 2.78 via TWRP 3.1.1.0 (tried both cofface and regular). After I flash SuperSU, the phone stops recognising the SIM card properly (was working before flashing SuperSU). I'm using MIUI Global 8.5.8.0.
