unlock - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Sorry if this in the wrong spot. My brother was killed in an auto accident and we have none of his passwords and are trying to get into his phone without hard resetting it and losing all data. I tried putting his sim in my phone but no contacts were on it to import. I really don't want to wait a month to get a death certificate and mail it off somewhere. I will pay whatever, buy software, any help appreciated. Motorola M0CD7.

Re-activation Lock locked me out of phone, despite correct password/email

Long story short, factory reset phone. Prompted with "Phone has been reset, please enter last used Google Email and Password." So I enter in the correct information, proceed to the Terms and Agreement page, and it sends me back to the "Enter Google Email and Password." Page again. It's stuck in this loop.
I tried changing my password, factory resetting, clearing the cache, talking to Samsung rep (they said to send it into a service center), I'm just at a complete loss here.
Some research says that after you reset your password, you have to wait 72hrs before you can unlock the device again. I'm not sure if that makes sense...
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Good luck. Smartphones have become pretty hard to crack in the past 2 years. The last thing i would maybe try is odin back to stock and try again. If that doesn't work, you should ask for a replacement. My job used to be a Samsung service center and we were told if anybody comes in with a knox or reactivation lock issue to send the unit to the head service center and they will send us back an other phone. Just like on the icloud lock on idevices, it's a huge hassle to bypass thoses locking mechanisms, and for a good reason.

well I'm not necessarily trying to crack it, just get it to work properly.

Well at this point brute force would be an option to consider. There are a couple of thread of users being locked out of their own phone in the Note 4 forum, i remember seeing them when i had a note 4 and it was one of the most active threads, I know it took them a few months to figure out what to do when you are a legit user, not a thief, and you're locked out of your phone because you forgot to untick the reactivation lock option after either flashing or restoring. I know there is a way, but i'm not sure where the thread is, I know it's either in the T-Mo section or the international section because these are the only 2 sub forums i visited.
You should consider checking it out, might be your only hope before bringing the unit to Samsung...and BTW, you'll probably have to fight with them because technically, this is a user mistake...at least that's how we dealt with it when I worked for Samsung. If you're lucky enough, you'll deal with a person like me that can relate to your issue and will pass it under warranty by bending the truth a bit.
EDIT: My memory fooled me, it's the Note 3 forum, not the 4
iCLoud Activation Lock Solution
Hi,
I from tihs understand that you have iCloud Actvation Lock problem, and need for you to add original owner password in your device to unlock. If you not are the original owner that only way is to use factory unlock service. I have the some problem as you and used this here: howtoiphonegeek .com and help me.

If you changed your password recently you should wait 72 hours and then you'll be able to unlock it with your credentials. Hope this works for you and it's your case.

How to get around on the factory reset protect of googLe

Im a tech support of 1 of the prepaid US telecom, everytime a customer will call about their phone got hard reset, I always say It is a dead end. And would advise my cx to contact google and follow their password recovery troubleshooting. Or last resort is send their phone to the manufacturer then let them flash the rom of their phone. Like Iphonei think once the phone was factory reset and cannot remember pw. Its like throwing away a $400 phone.
It's possible to get around FRP on some phones on some updates. Unfortunately, it's really not something that you would be able to help with in your type of job, despite your good intentions.

Need help getting past Google email protection.

Yes I bought a phone off a friend more acquaintance. It's not stolen or reported lost. It had no sim card nor micro sd card inside it was hard rest when I bought it. I can not get passed Google sign in. I typed my email over and over again nothing I accepted the device on my email alerts. I called Google to ask what can be done they said take to AT&T. I called AT&T explained again what the problem was. They said nothing they can do on there side take it to retail store they can crack it for me. So I took it to the store they looked at me like I was stupid. Left now on here hoping there is a solution. I called the company who made it they ran again the IMEI code again obviously same result not stolen nor lost. They can't help me they wanted m e to pay for shipping it in to where ever for a repair they claimed lol.
Other things I tried multiple hard resets clear cache. Same result. I tried even putting in a working sim card AT&T that I bought for it try clicking use the AT&T network to get the process started same result can't get past Google older email protection. I can not ask the dude I bought off for his password nor his gmail. Due to he uses yahoo. Now only and doesn't remember any of the sign in info.
Yeah, I feel ya there. This one so far has me baffled.

Note 9 Pro SIM card problem

I've spent the last week in the phone with at&t trying to get my sim card to work. They said they don't know what the issue is. Sometimes I can still make calls, other times i can't. Same with texting. Any advice or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

IMHO they are obligated to help you fix the problem, especially if your phone is part of your subscription with them. At worst, they may end up sending you a new device if they fail to identify the reason of your problem.
BTW: A SIM-card is a piece of plastic loose contact with the applied electronics is not possible. So I'm pretty sure NOT the SIM-card is the culprit.
What is IHMO? Im so sorry but when it comes to this stuff I'm as dumb as a box of rocks!
