hi everyone! I recently ported a 5.1.1 version to my my6592 phone star g9000. The camera was not working in the beginning but i managed to fix it, but the intensity of the flash is really really low. I tried some things to increase the power of it through build.prop but didn't work. I used to have the same issue when i installed some roms before this one with FlashTool, but i just changed the camera drivers with SP MTD tool and it was fixing the problem. I can't use sp mtd tool now because it will reformat my whole emmc partition. Any ideas on how to fix this? thanks in advance!

Do you still have a stock backup of the rom ? If so, how did it look like ?
ive got the same problem as you do.. when putting other roms on my phone the back camera stops working, all works fine on my stock original rom tho..
I flash muy backup with flashtools but todo make the camera work i have todo make files for flashtools with mtk droid tools...then i flash and muy camera works....no roms works...onlybstock
Hi, Do you have your lk.bin from your backup?
If you have it, try flashing just lk.bin after the non-stock rom, could work.
And could you send me your lk.bin so I can try it too?

I have the cell phone working with the original 4.2.2 (store provided) since I couldn't find a 4.4 with both cameras working, could only get the front one to work...

Hello, I have received, few hours ago, my STAR G9000 smartphone, with Android 4.4.2 KK. After making the root using VROOT successfully, I tried to update the rom, downloading it from the site needrom the latest version of 27.08.2014. I have upgraded using the "Firmware Upgrade" function (Flash Tool). After a first failed attempt, the second has been good, but when I turned on the smartphone, appeared to me initially a gray screen (all vertical lines), then the strips have changed color and I also heard the sound that indicates the startup of the phone.
I have could also, knowing the position of the lock on the display, perform the unlock the screen (type noise water), but I still see only stripes.
The phone did not take any shock and the strips have appeared only after flashing the phone.
Does anyone know of a similar problem and can help me solve it?
reflash ur stock rom, from newestrom.com or need rom, if u make a backup reflash...

Hello I have an ALCATEL OneTouch 6010d.
After a lot of time I found a Custom Rom on the Internet and it perfectly works but I have 2 little problems...
1)The camera works but the frontal camera doesn't work (black screen)
I also tryed all other camera apps but it's a Rom/kernel problem
2)Touchscreen Softkeys don't work
How can I solve these things?
This is what I have now:
---The custom rom stored in my PC
---The backup of the Stock Rom stored in my PC
---The phone with Root access
---SD card and usb cable of course
Has anyone got this phone, here on XDA?
What do you think about its battery life and its continous overheating?

The LED notifications stopped working since I updated to OOS 3.x (MM 6.0.1) a couple of months ago.
Before that, everything was fine with LED.
LED only works when charging (red, green when fully charged), so the problem is not on harware side.
On Settings / Sound & Notifications / App Notifications all apps have LED notifications selected.
Also, I have tried to install a 3rd part app to activate LED notifications and I have granted it notifications access, but still nothing.
My bootloader is unlocked, and few days ago I have flashed TWRP recovery and SuperSu, but the problem was present also when the phone was fully stock (except that for the bootloader unlocked).
I couldn't find any solution other than attempting wipe data or factory reset :crying:
Any other suggestion?

I am suggesting it because once I had broke my all sensors by flashing experimental build of ROM and flashing stock and other ROM didn't helped me so I followed mega unbrick guide and fortunately all sensors are working after that..Give it a try.

Also, led is not "frozen" all the time: it works when charging, only led notifications are disappeared [emoji28]

I had the exact same problem with 3.1.3. To fix I went to extreme measures and wiped everything clean. Then went up the latter flashed 2.2.3 followed by 3.1.3. I believe somewhere along the lines of flashing something got broken. Work of advice if your going to do it this way use the old stock recovery. Or you will end up like the lost sould under helpme section.

But, if I don't have any other solution, sooner or later I'll proceed with a clean installation from the scratch.

I eventually found by chance a workaround to my problem.
It only works for rooted OPX with Xposed framework.
By installing Custom Slider Xposed module and adding the [Notification LED] / [Allow LED to Glow] action to each of the three [Slider Position Mapping] settings the LED notifications magically have started working again
I have a redmi note 9s (the topic is about this device). After testing a port of Android 13 or beta 2 I ran out of sensors and the audio was cut off, they told me to pass the stock via mi flash to solve the same, the stock doesn't boot on my phone anymore, it just stays on the Redmi logo, but I enter in fastboot, in recovery stock and after passing the custom recovery I enter the custom recovery too. With that I can pass some custom to use the cell phone, it comes back with the sensor bug and audio cut or no audio, I wipe several times, format data, I pass a zip called "clean.zip" the firmware and even then solve the sensors and audio. I'm afraid to keep changing roms now, but it's complicated to stay in just one rom, and when Android 13 comes out I'm stuck on 12, apart from that I can't go to stock anymore. After installing XperiFix, my camera is still not working. I am uploading the logs below. I noticed that the Magick 17.1 version from XperiFix doesn't work, and when I try to update or upload from a new one, I see a black screen after booting the phone, but when I press and hold power button I see a window to a turn off device and sometimes top bar appears (time, battery, etc.). I tried to install Magisk v25.2.
I also tried to upload the stock camera (https://gitlab.com/xperiance/camera/-/releases) but without the higher version of Magick I can't do it.
I have FW .205, before that I tried .270 but it didn't work, bootloop when starting the phone.
In the morning I will install the update from OTA to .235 and try to upload XperiFix or install the .145 version and see what happens next.
I tried Open Camera and made logs, but they didn't save, but the camera still doesn't work ;/
EDIT: I flashed FW .145 but didn't help.
I flashed Android 9 FW 47.2.A.11.228 to test, but I cant flashed XperiFix, because in TWRP write "read-only partition detected" and I see that I flashed Magisk nothing happens, it's as if it didn't install, I don't know why but I didn't have a problem with it before...
