Am using the cool tool for system monitoring(very good tool indeed). For SD615, am not able to findout which file is used for gpu ultiization, (same for cpu temperature). These can be used as custom label. i hd honor 3x, was able to find it for gpu utilization(proc/mali/utilization). With es expoloer, was searching for temp/mali/gpu etc... did not get any meaning full file to test!
with cpuz, i can see cpu temps around 10, so in this which one gives overall cpu temp ?
any1 know/tried cool tool on 5x ?? or SD615 chip ?

We use a Adreno 405 not a Mali gpu and it does not look like the 405 exposes its temperature to the userspace

Hi friends.. this is my first post. So pardon me if I am posting in the wrong place.
I have a Swipe MTV Slash 4x tablet. In case you are wondering, its a chinese OEM tablet that has been imported & sold here in India by Swipe Telecom under their brand name.
Its based on a quadcore mediatek 8382 soc clocked at 1.3ghz & the GPU is a dual core Mali 400MP clocked at 533mhz. RAM is 1GB. Being of chinese make, the tablet came shipped with Jelly Bean 4.2.2 which is mostly stock with very little to no skinning.
I rooted the tablet very easily using Framaroot v1.9.0. I have installed Roehsoft Ram Expander & Xposed (Gravity Box module) & thus far everything is fine. I remember reading somewhere(guess wikipedia) that the mt8382 is designed for tablets & can run stable at speeds upto 1.6ghz. However since its meant for entry level & lower mid range devices, its usually underclocked to 1.2/1.3ghz out of the box.
I want to try my luck & "overclock" the cpu a bit. I am aware that the stock kernel doesn't support overclocking. So I basically have 2 options..
1. Flash a custom kernel that supports oc
2. Flash a custom ROM that ships with a kernel supporting oc, like cyanogen mod or anything else.
Here is my problem. I am unable to find a kernel or a ROM that is compatible with my device. I am aware of the risks involved in overclocking & am prepared to back up all my data & install a custom recovery before proceeding. I am also mentally prepared for the worst case scenario - a permanently bricked device.
Can somebody help me in finding a kernel for my device that supports overclocking or a custom ROM that has built in oc support?
I am attaching some screenshots that will help you in getting an idea of what device I have.
Thanks in advance
Hello guys , It happened in his hands a Deco77x with Andorid 4.4.2, not to throw it I put it back to life with a custom ROM, a Andorid 5.1.1 porting a Galaxy A3 currently installed. I tried the Lollifox, the CyanogenMod 12.1, I have tried several kernel including the "Franco kernel", adapted as one its appropriate there. I have traveled far and wide. But going to the point, the terminal mounting a MediaTek MT6572 CPU, 2 Cores, ARM Cortex-A7 at 1.00GHz, I can not in several GHz overclock to bring in more 'of 1.00 ... even if the operations are all going cheap end more 'of 1.00 just does not go. Putting the chip no longer 'of the power holders, perhaps limited by the producers themselves in a specific version for this phone, I've found on the website of MediaTek these data, "Dual-core chip (1.2GHz) ARM Cortex-A7 processor" so just do not understand because 'more' of 1.00 can not go there. I arrived to the extreme and I address you. Here I write some data that might help.
Info Deco77x
-CPU MediaTek MT6572 ARM Cortex-A7 at 1.00GHz
-GPU Mali-400 MP
-root KingRoot
-Flashify
-Recovery "Philz Deco recovery"
-Chamelephon 1.0
-no-Frills CPU Control

Hello to everyone,
One week ago a bought an MX10 Pro. First of all i have to be really sure of his hardware. I checked with CPU-z and the cpu is not cortex A53(as described on the sellers page https://www.ebay.com/itm/2019-MX10P...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649) but A7. Is not RK3229 but RK3066. The GPU is not Mali-450 but Mali-400. Are the CPU-z infos correct? How can i be sure at 100% ?
Second. When the OS is booted. If you start doing things after 30-60 seconds. You can open some apps and check settings etc. But before 30 sec the os crash and reboot. Very often it crashed after some minutes using youtube, allways crash when you navigate to a certain webs on chrome. Well. It is a crap using it. I'm searching to change firmaware. But not finding anything good. Specially if my CPU is RK3066.
I want some suggestions from you. The best way to get crashing issue from logs. And where to find working firmware.
Many thanks.
The seller gave me an updated IMG and it solved my problems.
what version did the seller gave you ?

On Gearbest website they claim the following things- 1- The processor RK3328, 2-Its Penta Core, 3- It's clocked at 1.5 ghz.
But my device which they sent has all different specs- 1-Its RK3066, 2- it's quad core, 3- The clock speed is 1.3 ghz.
I'm planning to change the rom. So
Can someone explain if I got a fake product or it's just numbers?

Sorry for the late answer. They gave me the mx10Pro-8703-4l8p-v2190304
I have a galaxy tab e sm-t377w (I believe the cpu is exynos) and I managed to root it.
The cpu runs at 1.3 mhz I believe with a quadcore. No idea about the gpu. I want to overclock it just a tiny bit as there is a tiny bit of lag for what I'm using it for. I'm not sure if I should overclock the gpu too or if need to but I believe the next step is flashing a kernel and installing a cpu manager app. I wondering if I'm on the right track and if there's a kernel that already exists for my model or what would be compatible as well as what cpu manager I should use.
If your phone's Android got rooted then you may try Kernel Adiutor, an application which manages kernel parameters.
DL: https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.nhellfire.kerneladiutor/
Either Xiaomi9 or Oneplus7 can be OC GPU,how about this phone?
It seems like it needs flash the OC Kernels...but I can't find it!
By the way,OC CPU Kernel is also OK!
Can somebody help me? - -!
yes ez way https://github.com/xzr467706992/KonaBess
no need of any kernel for this

Hello now that you are speaking of kernel, can this phone (lm-g850um ver. 20f be rooted? I have carrier unlocked phone and I need to unlock bootloader and root so I can install custom CPU control software to speed up my CPU (custom governor). I will try to root using Android to Android via USB OTG and ADB command (fastboot) app from Google play store.
LG G8X DISPLAY OVERCLOCK
PLEASE
LG G8X is a popular device in India bcaz of a Sale of device for less than 300$ just like Poco f1 . It would be great if I get a 62 Hz or more overclock mod as PUBG MOBILE 90FPS config works for 60hz+ devices and it improves fire rate of guns dramatically .
Please just make a mod even if it just 62hz I will be greatly thankfull
