Hello to all of you. I followed the Cyanogenmod guide about how to flash CM on Moto E (https://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_otus ) . I unlocked the cell, installed TWRP 2.8.7 (forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=14164&task=get), uploaded the rom, wiped and start the install.
I have no errors and the process started but it never end ! I have always the "Flashing file 1 of 1" message and the bar, but the process is endless.
I try with the snapshot 12.1 and the nightly 13, it's the same.
What it's wrong ?
reboot and system problem
After 2 hours I forced a reboot into recovery. Now I have error on /system (it's not mounted).
If I format all (advanced wipe) I can mount /system and restart installation of the ROM. But the same happens: "detected filesystem ext4 on /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/system Patching system image unconditionally... Flashing file 1 of 1..." and never finished please someone can help me ?
twrp-otus-3.0.0-r2.img
I flashed with fast boot the new twrp-otus-3.0.0-r2.img.
Reboot in recovery mode, /system mount error, so Advanced wipe and reformatted system cache dalvik and data.
Loaded cm12 and start install.
Same problem: no error, but the process never end.
Please help.
PAC-ROM LP-MR1 same "patching system image unconditionally"
I check md5 and sha1 of files. All right.
I dowloaded a different ROM : http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e-2015/orig-development/rom-pac-rom-moto-e-2015-3g-t3122422
Same message and same endless install process...
Anyone has some suggestions ?
SOLVED!
My problem was that I choose the wrong model of Moto-E (finally it was not Otus).
I installed a TWRP for Otus but it gave no error in any step so I never consider this kinf of problem.
Then I discover that the output of ./adb devices -l (that show Otus as model) was different from that of ./fastboot getvar all (that show Condor as model).
So I installed a TWRP for Condor and a CM13 for Condor and now I am up and running.
Now I have some other problems as for example I can't format the sd as internal (error on final step of moving some data report a problem and a sd in corrupted state...) but I think is a CM nightly build problem.

flash to CWM if it does not work with TWRP as mine does not work in TWRP but work in CWM,
I also face this problem.not install rom
Flash the CM 12.1 rom, let the rom booting up, go to twrp, make backup, flash the zip for resizing partitions, and restore the backup, go to play store and install ''diskinfo'' and check if the partition is 1.2 gb. if yes flash the los 14.1
did it thanks to all

Hi guys,
I'm heavy in trouble with my Xperia Z1 tablet since I have flashed LineageOS 15.1 on that tablet by TWRP.
Short version:
The problem:
I was not be able to copy the TWRP to /FOTA partition by TWRP before. Since TWRP was replaced by a LineageOS recovery in the /boot partition and I do not find a way to install TWRP by this Lineage recovery, now I have a device with Lineage recovery only.
Long version
What did I do:
(1) The Lineage 15.1 was working fine for 5 minutes but when I have realized that I forget to install GApps I went to the recovery mode and surprisely the Lineage recovery was started.
(2) Now I did the mistake to wipe the /system and cache using that LineageOS recovery
(3) When I try to reinstall the 'twrp-3.2.3-0-pollux.img' or 'lineage-15.1-20190330-nightly-pollux-signed.zip' by Lineage recovery from SD card, the installation breaks with an error
"E:Unable to open /sideload/package.zip : Tranport endpoint is not connected
E:failed to map file
Installation aborted.".
Conclusion
Now I have a device with empty /FOTA and empty /system partition. The Lineage recovery is the only once I have on my device.
Also I'm wondering that the device is recognized as Android fastboot device from now on when I boot into bootloader.
Does there a way to reanimate my Xperia Z1 or do I have a valueable brick from now on ??
How can I write images to the /boot partition by Lineage recovery?
Thanks for help
Tom
Solved
Hi guys again,
thank you for your valuable support. I was be able to solve this issue by myself using the "fastboot" tool. With fastboot you can download a new fresh TWRP on '/boot' so that I was be ablte to install a new custom ROM.
Thanks
Tom

Sorry, I have Windows 7. The drivers works on my Windows 7. But I guess that the drivers are working on Windows 10 also.
[GUIDE] UNBRICK POCO X2/ REDMI K30 after flash with TWRP /0MB memory
Things You Need To Get Started
1. A Computer With Adb Tools Installed
2. Some Patience
3. Works only on phones with unlocked bootloader
Let's start.
1. install ADB/Fastboot
https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools
2. download FASTBOOT ROM
http://file.sakshieducations.com/poco-x2-flash-file/
3. unzip 2 times unzip the rom twice with 7zip
4. move the folder with the rom inside to partition ,,D " .Don't leave it on DESKTOP on , several computers / laptops have encountered problems with MIFLASH.
5. go to unziped rom and EDIT
6. open MIFLASH and go to the rom and select
7. select clean all as in picture and flash all bat
8. turn phone in to FASTBOOT AND CONNECT TO THE LAPTOP/DESKTOP
9. refresh in MIFLASH
10. wait until is finish, don't be scared if it gives you an error at the end, the error is that it can't lock the bootloader. The phone is ready in perfect working order
MOD EDIT: Telegram/Whatsapp link removed, please read the STICKY!

You should fix the ADB link, the ADB provided in that link is outdated. Even the author of that post suggested not using it. Go here: https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools

Download the stable version on mi comunity by vpn download and flash change the name from phoneixin to phoneix
Got an update notification on my nexus 6p with installed RR-P-v7.0.2 on it. After installing this OTA update i got an infinite booting screen. I loaded back into twrp and got a password prompt to mount partitions (i didn't have any passwords anywhere on my phone before). I could neither access internal storage from within recovery, nor from pc. Installed newest version of TWRP (3.4.0), didn't help. Did a full wipe, which finally helped and allowed me to see and transfer files to my internal storage. Downloaded RROS-Q-8.5.9 zip from official site, tried to install again, which resulted in same error as before. Then i found out that i can load the system even with this error presenting, but i CAN'T install magisc. I don't know if it is me, who does something wrong or is it error in system zip? Also before each attempt to reinstall RROS-Q-8.5.9 i see logs, that magisc binaries r missing, i don't know if that might be the reason of vendor error in the end. The only way i can fix it is flash official vendor.img and flash older system image. But i really want to have RROS-Q-8.5.9 on my phone, with magics. Initially i posted it in 'Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting', but no1 responded, so i duplicated this post here in case some1 knows the answer. Please help.
I'm sorry for being unfriendly. I'm lazy.
Most android10rom for angler cannot be flashed without using this twrp. If you want to switch back to pie rom, use the official twrp.
Then your latest post is on the nexus6 shamu thread.
Everyone makes a mistake because the terminal names are very similar. So don't complain to kae.

For the time being, there are few posts on this device, so I think it's okay to write here.

Thank you for your response anyway. Tho i managed to flash the rom without getting this vendor error at the end. Steps i did: flashed back to RR7.1.2, did a backup, wiped everything including system, than flashed new RR8.6.0, which flashed fine with no errors. After this i flashed magisk right away, and it went fine (it couldn't before, cuz of the error 'failed to mount /vendor' after attempting to flash OS zip), with exception of an error 'failed to mount /vendor (no such device)'. Still i've got nexus 6p with android 10 and root, which can't update, cuz of the permanent vendor error after i flashed magisk.
Next time i will need to flash anything, i will use TWRP u suggested. Thank you again.
