aHi Guys,
I asked myself a question this morning and it was "Can we have a notification from a heart rate monitor led"
So can you help me? Thank's
No dude, its a sensor it becomes red only when it detects, so for notifications we cant use and its impossible to create an app for it.
Is this a real monitor i mean it shows mine 116 dbm this is insane.

You shouldnt move or speak. You should be quiet and steady without shaking then it shows correctly.

Hi, our heros must have a light meter of some sort in them because of the auto backlight feature. But tricorder shows no data for light and the android sdk looks like it hasn't been implemented yet.
How can I get access to the data from the sensor?
Thanks
Anyone? Tried a simple app that registers a sensor listener for SENSOR_LIGHT but it never outputs anything!
It does indeed have a light meter.
This is the little LED looking thing on the LEFT of the phone at the top.
Directly opposite the actual LED.
If you cover this over when having selected auto backlight, you will notice the screen brightness change.
Thanks for the response, good to know where it is! Still having no luck accessing it through code! Downloaded the hero kernal to have a look in there but don't know where to look!
Really frustrating as there must be a way of using the hardware!!
Well i just wanted to know if there is a way to turn off the notification light of the x10 mp im curently using naa miniCM 2.1.8. The LED is really annoying and at night while i'm charging it brightens up the whole room so i would like to turn it off.
Thanks in advance for any help

black tape it or use permanent marker
Hello,
I think ales47 is searching for the possibility to turn off LED only while charging. Otherwise, in normal use, he wants the LED to work normally.
Is it possible to turn off the LED only while charging phone?
Yeah i too think of the same thing. actually the green light is very much bright than the yellow one. i have to keep it upside down to keep the light off. other than that i have no idea to consider you.
or you have to use a light form or something (that it wont hurt the screen) when you charge. and the miss call notification is very annoying at night too. every flash will kill your sleep slowly. i have to clear the notifications before i sleep.
Any other suggestions?

Seriously, you are very helpful to us
haven't tried it out myself, but in settings - profiles you select a profile, and the last option PHONE, the last option again is LIGHTS MODE and is set in no override.
You could create a profile for the night with the setting switched to OFF.
Hope it works

I once tried the profile thing but i had no notifications. but this is regarding a light steadily lighting. i guess it is for the notifications only.
I don't know why it bothers you at night... at some point I can't even sleep without having light on phone... Put a tape over the LED? I just think it's not possible to change this...
Hey bro you really should search before starting a new thread
Have a look at this, i suggest you read the whole topic.

Hi, any easy way to disable the bright green light when plugged in?
Well I know that when you get a notification when its on, the light will go off after you dismiss the notification. You can always just send yourself a quick text. lol. But the light color is set by how the battery is. So if you are at 50 percent or so, once the light is off, it will come back on when it hits the next battery stage, if that makes sense. For example, at 50 percent, the light will be yellowish. At about 80, maybe, it will turn green. So when it decides to go to the next color, it will come on again. Just trying to give you an understanding of how the light works. lol.
There are apps that let you control the light. I have tried LEDs hack but it got my hard key lights stuck on with ICS. I think there is another one calls light flow or something like that that may help.
Sorry for the long response. lol
Thank you jsgraphicart,
I did not notice the changing colors. I'll try out the text thing.

Lighflow works great, dunno if it has any issues with CM9 though
I've used lightflow on Eclipse since 0.2 and never had a problem. I will look into this now and post results.
EDIT: It Kills it! Set up all your notifications the way you like, and make sure charging settings are controlled, but no notifications set!
Have you tried turning off the notification light under setting>display?

I like that charging light. Actually I love it. Is there a way to enable it in every rom?

I just came across that setting. That should work for when you want it off at night. But you need to turn it back on to get the LED to display for notifications again. I might use this at night now. Thanks.
So in Alpha 5, you have the option of turning off the notification during "quiet hours". Disable notification LED from 10pm to 5am or whatever.

hello all !
i have a problem with my amazfit watch at the heart rate when i runnig. I usually run at 5 and a half minutes per kilometer and the clock does not record a pulse throw the run, and when i finish running the summry display shows that I ran the whole run (100%) at a rate of heating. Even when I increase the speed it still does not show a change in the pulse or its percentage.
On the other hand, when I run out sometimes at a pace that is slow for me, about 7:30 to 8 minutes per kilometer, he starts to show me the heart rate meter while running and in the summation he divides it into categories like aerobics, un aerobics, fat burning and e.g
What is the problem and how can it be resolved?
Is it a problem of initial setup and calibration and if so, how can this problem be fixed?
thanks for help
Try enabling continuous HRM: in the HR widget, tap on the graph to enable continuous mode. You may need to disable it when not needed because it drains more battery, of course.

Probabaly lagged on the real time screen? Have you compare it with the reading on the apps? How does it look like? Is it the same?
And 3rdly, you might want to check again you personal detail such as age sex weight etc on the profile in the Amazfit app.
As a runner, me too dissappointed with these heart rate meter reading. I don't event know the rage or this hr zone. Unlike garmin or starva.
Hope that's help.

Your strap may be loose.
Personally I find that for my Pace to get anything close to an accurate heart rate I need to be standing totally still. Every time I have used it for sport it's waaaaaaay off.
How do I stop my Amazfit Bip S constantly alerting me about heart rate over 150 bpm when I am running? I have turned off heart rate detection and disabled the heart rate alert in the settings, but still it automatically enables heart rate monitoring and alerting whenever I start a running workout. The alert happens whenever my heart rate is measured above 150 bpm, and since I run at around 155 bpm it happens all the time, making my watch useless to me. The red message on screen stops me being able to see my running data, and the double-buzz every 20-30 seconds is really annoying. The settings allow me to change the heart rate threshold, but the maximum is 150. Any ideas? (other than "run slower so that your heart rate stays below 150" )

Have you also disabled it on the watch itself under:
[Click button twice] - Training - [scroll down all activites] - Sport Settings - [Heart beat alert] - Disable
I don't have the watch in english, maybe the menus are named a bit different.
