Hi all,
i had a wired problem , i am using dual sims in OPX . In sim card preference put ask first before making calls , but its choosing directly sim one . Tried no of times but doesn't change . Can any help me.

me too buddy same problem for me when i set to ask it works for some and the same problem as u and when i set the sim to 2G by the end of the day it automatically goes back to 4G any solutions

My phone is Star OneM92 dual sim Chinese S3 clone running 4.1
I'm experiencing a problem with my Virgin (UK) sim. The phone is automatically throwing it in to roaming mode. The "r" sign comes up at the signal bar.
I've checked with Virgin and they confirm no roaming charges apply as its a domestic sim. Of course when I told them the phone is copy they immediatly threw a fit and I got a lecture how I should never of you one in the first place.
Its dam annoying when I make a call. I have to confirm I want to use a roaming sim.
I've tried different positions and other sim cards from O2 and Vodafone and they work fine.
Can anyone shed any light on to this and advise how I can get around this.
By the way, I know I shouldn't of got a clone and yes I'm a noob and all that. Apologies for my inexperience in advance
have u try using a app from playstore called network
there u can set the phone to only 2g 3g or roaming
or go into settings an sim manager then network an disable roaming

Service Provider : 1) Idea 2) Tata DoCoMo
3G : 1) Off 2) On
I am facing call drop issue in the MOTO E. Its not the service issue as I am using both service providers for more than 2 years without a problem.
So is there any call drop issue with MOTO E ?
Anybody else facing the same issue ? Or I got faulty phone. Please help !!

Yup I Got this problem but while i given my device to my brother for some times around a week he was using 1) Reliance GSM 2) Vodafone GSM. | 3G on Sim 1)
But in my Hand i didn't faced Such issue on the same Device. 1) Reliance 2) Airtel. 3G on Sim 1)

So i guess that's might be service provider issue.
Solution- Go to your nearest service provider store and ask them to replace sim card with the same no. (Some sim cards are have such problems):good:
i will suggest u to change first tata docomo (because i had faced such problem in docomo earlier.)

NOTE: if ur device goes freeze and lost wifi and all other network connectivity then replace your device - Device issue.
Another culprit may be some call recording application.
It happened to my Mother's phone once.
Please, remove any such suspicious application, clear cache and dalvik and reboot. Everything should work fine.

It could be network+phone (combination) issue as I said I have used this combination of network in a different phone without any problem.
I converted the SIM to microsim by myself so it could also be the issue.

Run Both Sim @ 2G Network Mod
Okay now I know...Settings - Dual sim settings - priority - voice... It solved my problem. Last two weeks not a single call was dropped.

Man I paid for 3G so really don't wanna 2G. .. I turn on data whenever I use internet otherwise I turn it off.

Hi !
Recently I bought this LG but I have this problem:
I put my sim on it and can use LTE , download stuff , facebook, whatsapp and everything connected w / internet , but I can not make or receive phone calls or sms . When I dial a number that says " network number not avaible ."
I've tried with another simcard and moved to Cm11 and CM12 but without effect.
Can anyone help ? :crying:

You can't make or receive calls when only LTE is enabled. LTE frequency doesn't support calls. You should try dialing *#*#4636#*#* and then select the first one. Scroll down a bit and then select the network type: LTE/GSM/WCDMA. I have this selected and everytime someone calls, phone automatically switches from LTE to WCDMA/3G. After the call it turns automatically back to LTE.

The problem is that I already have on WCDMA / 3G waited for the update to the lollipop but remains the same. Any idea?
I'm really sad cuz I have a phone that does everything but phonecalls

Where did you get the SIM from?
Were you ever able to do calls with that SIM in any other phone?
Maybe it is a data only SIM, like sold for tablets or laptops.
I would try it with a different SIM card.

Nope, I never could text or make phone calls,and the problem isn't the SIM because right now it's in other phone and works fine.
Same problem with mine, 3G/2G data is working fine but the phone won't let me do a call ("no network" available). This happened on the kitkat rom, and since that I upgraded to the official Lollipop rom (through OTA) bu the problem remain the same...
The strange thing is that the phone just came from repair (the touch screen stopped to work without no reason... ), hoppefully it was under waranty... but now the waranty is over so I don't know what to do except maybe putting this phone on a trash, but it would be a such waste...
If anyone have an idea about the problem, it is hightly welcomed!
Hello friends, I have tried my best, but so far haven't been able to set 3g only on my second sim in my new Moto X Play running on 5.1.1 lollipop. Dialing*#*#4636#*#* and changing the settings there doesn't work for 2nd sim. It works for only the first sim. Even if I disable the first sim and try to set it for the second one, it doesn't work. It stays on GSM only. Why so. Can anybody throw some light on it?
Nobody seems to bother about this problem of mine.If anybody know any remedy please share here.

i am new here, i have a question regrading android nougat.
i am a Moto Z Play user. problem i am facing is i cant enable VOLTE on my sim if i eject it once from phone.
to elaborate once i insert a sim on my phone it registers it and VOLTE and 4G internet works fine.
but if i eject it once from phone and insert it back only 4G internet work i cant make calls.
only solution to this problem is i have to change sim card.
after doing some tinkering i understood problem it seems once saved the volte setting are geting disabled
i need to know where does all this sim registration info is stored in nougat.
probably removing all this info and restarting my phone might help me from going to store to get a new sim.
have cleared cache from setting and tried alot of steps.
suggestions are welcomed.
any admin or moderator may move this post to any proper sub category as am not aware where to post.
