I believe most of us didn't expect any further upgrades after S058. It would be nice to have some release notes. I'm also curious whether the new custom Kernel TeLo will be compatible with this update. Please, could you report how does the phone behave with the new update? Thanx.

If you already install custom recavery : download ota update. Cipy it to sdcard from /data/data/com.lenovo.ota/ota_packages. Replace your country code and system.zip from archive to sdcard. Flash this archives into custom recovery.
i installed it and work fine but dont know what's new in this package
@dewedark Settings menu, bugfixes etc.
But cores still all in online amd min freq it 800...

UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip/superuser.zip (from kitkat rooting tutorial using CWM recovery v6_kk_carliv-mod) - install from SD card complete without errors, but after reboot nothing happens

I followed all your steps but after installing superuser.zip or superSU.zip using openrecovery-twrp-2.8.4.0rev2-p780cn, even though there is no error, nothing changes after restarting the phone.

Unfortunately not !
Let me see !
One of my recomandations would be Baralajbi firmware an chinese based firmware ! Stable ! Good.
Seccond will be MIUI ! China based with google apps ! in beta state but good firmware !
Based on ROW (Rest Of the World) is Life 1.2 upgradable to 1.3!
This are my reccomandations !
I had a root on this specific firmware and this particular phone, but I lost it after reflashing it while got stucked without google calendar...

Backup means someone created backup of his existing rom. For future purpose. Backup use for restore.
Zip is flashable file. Which contain image.

I am on EMUI4.0 but twrp is not installing the latest nightly, there appears to be a system mismatch or something. It says something like incompatible with EXT4 system. I tried to change it with TWRP but there was no option of F2FS.

Since you're on EMUI 4 you shouldn't face problems when instaling cm13, check if the rom file is corrupted (not downloaded properly)

I have just downloaded it from cyanogenmod. While I was on EMUI 3.0 it gave error 7 about some assert, now that is gone but now it gives this error about EXT4 system

you must have installed a custom recovery or have rooted your official rom that is why it doesn't download updates
you have to flash your stock rom through odin first then you can receive updates
if you are doing this just for installing stock MM then download latest firmware or MM firmware for your variant and flash it

There are two options: flash img in recovery partition and boot partition, I suppose you chose recovery instead of boot..

It a custom stock rom build by a china guy, he only load to baidu cloud which it impossible to download if u are from oversea. There is some features that he had added in. U are a lady??

1. You should have stock EMUI 8 rom installed
2. Unlock bootloader
3. Unpack downloaded zip
4. Connect your phone with FASTBOOT mode and run RUN.BAT file. Choose "1" to install rom

i have US mate 10 PRO BLA A09 8.0.0.9 C567, so is the v3 the same version, instructions little confusing, what boot.img do i need to install, the azip contains boot_0 and boot_r which one of those do i need to flash or do i need to flash boot from the latest 8.0.0.9 i have in my PC to go back to stock and there is no such thing as boot in oreo it has ramdisk and others as boot i divided into ramdisk and kernel, i am confused, please post more clear and simple instructions, i want to give this a try, thank you very much.

I installed this rom, it booted up but there was lot of bloat and it changed my imei to something and I didn't have cellular connection and after factory reset it bootlooped, so make sure you have the correct phone and software version.
