That website is fake. You can't unlock the bootloader. You should considering trading your gear s for a tmobile one or just buy one on ebay.
Unlocked bootloader will never happen for a device like this. Trade it in or just buy a tmobile one if u can find one.

To answer that question; "Yes." I'm not sure why One would make a comment, without knowledge of the process. Pay no mind to them. What you need to do is follow the thread I provide, and work your way from there. Good luck.:fingers-crossed:

Also, take the bands off off your GearS2 G3/4 models such as my SM-R730A and One will see a tab that can be removed... This is a magnetic USB port. One can adhere or solder a USB, or use the old Gear 2 charger and tape it tight. This will allow for wired transfer. Also if you do your research, there is a port # associated with the Gear S2 to use whilst connected to a PC by BT. (Bluetooth)
I have added ringtones, notifications, changes to system UI, added my own .wgt (widget) files and the like. All I need to do is figure out how to get Google to work through ifttt, or ported standalone widget.

Your link is for a Gear S2, is there a way to unlock the bootloader for the Gear S?

Originally I had wanted to mount the P3113 right into my dash (in place of the radio) then I found out that they don't make custom kits to fit the tab. Had a friend estimate the time/price to make it happen and even from him doing the work it looked like it would be about $400 to build the custom parts for it. Not to mention about a days worth of work.
So based on above, I have decided to go another route, I am going to get a mount, and just put the tab over the radio (not in the dash just on the mount arm). So now I am left looking for a really cheap new radio, since no one will ever see the radio face since the tab will be in front of it.
Anyone have any suggestions on a cheap sturdy radio that I could get? Anyone done anything like what I am trying to do before? If possible I would like all the parts to be reusable for when I buy a new car down the road (currently in a 2002 Honda Civic).

However not in my possible world right now, I can't afford that much time/labor from my friend.
Thus I am looking into a radio head to install that will work the best with the tab, whether it be USB aux or a regular headphone Aux.
Any other suggestions? Or ways to do the original idea on the mega cheap lol

Not sure how either of the past 2 posts were off topic, unless you meant the topic of the thread altogether, then I don't know where else this would go.
This is kind of about accessories, its something that hooks up to your tab for use, in it's most basic form I think that is what an accessory is (I don't know the exact definition, so I apologize if I am incorrect).
His post with the link was on topic in the fact that that was my original plan however to pricey/time consuming.
So now I am looking into radios for the car, since I can always take the radio to my next vehicle when the time comes, I can't always take a custom made dash mount.
Any thoughts into a good cheap radio would be appreciated, I wasn't sure if USB would be an option with a radio, so that is something I could def use advice on, I would be using I Heart Radio for example, and I wasn't sure if that would play through a USB connection, or if it needs to be audio out through the headphones.
I'd go with a BlueTooth receiver. Here's one for $90

No CD. But will do USB & AUX & BT
I have a 2000 Xterra with the stock CD/cassette/am/fm radio in it. I use the cassette adapter or a radio transmitter to a headphone plug with no problems. The cassette adapter is a lil clearer to me.
Just mount the Tab, plug in to the adapter, and you are ready to rock out!

Since you seem to have tried almost everything, I suggest you take it to a Service Centre and have it checked.
So I got this Motorola ET1 tablet that my company was going to throw away to recycling because we are moving.
The problem is that this is an enterprise tablet and its locked with android 2.3.4 Gingerbread. I cant upgrade it and it doesnt even have google play so I cant install anything
Do you guys know how could I upgrade it to a more recent version of Android? Or at least how could I install a program to watch movies? Right now I cant play any of them
Thanks

Sadly I have been working this too. Much to my extreme dismay Motorola will not give up the OS update without a service agreement. As far as the installation what I have done is just sideload everything that needs to be put on there. I was hoping some kinda of leak or something would have come to light but, no devs ever touched it.

were you able to get a regular charger for the tablet? So far the only thing we have is this big craddle that charges 6 tablets at the same time but I cant use that
We have a fleet of these set up with several different configurations. I quick google search brought up a page called bar code discount dot com that has most of the same stuff we use (but this forum will not let me post links). I have worked with the usb cable charger, the single tablet dock, the 4 tablet dock, and the 4 extra battery dock.
For the cable, you need a charging brick, I think item PWRS-14000-148R. The cable we have look like item 25-153149-01R. The brick plugs into the cable a few inches from the USB connector. The USB connector need not be plugged into anything, but can be used in flashing the rom from a computer (or you can do that from a micro-sd).
The single tablet dock (item DC1000-1000U) uses the same charging brick.
I have not used the above web page nor am I associated with them in any way. But the parts you need are out there.

It is also true that stock, the et1 has a usb port on the top edge. We replace this port with a bar code scanner, but I wounder if that can be used to change it...
Hi guys
Weaned myself off Apple with HTC One M8 (love it). I used the extra storage to re-rip my CDs to uncompressed files. They sound great!
Bought a brand new Mazda CX5 Grand Touring with Tech pkg (love it) partially because it was "Android compatible" .
It has 9 speakers with 5.1 surround-but it will only "surround" through the USB port or with a CD.
HTC bluetooth pairs, but won't recognize the car through USB!! I am told by HTC it is not compatible. Is this an issue with all new vehicles or just Mazda?
What is blocking this? Any work arounds without rooting?
I have a rooted Google Nexus 10, but would rather keep my phone stock while under contract if possible.
Thanks.
The issue is that Android has converted to MTP mode instead of USB mass storage; with the latter being what car stereo head units require.
Not sure if there is a mod to convert to USB mass storage, but I'd start there. Probably need root to do so (if such a mod exists).

Why? Warranty is still honored on a rooted phone. Only things that are out of warranty on AT&T are physical or water damage.
Type 1 and type 2 MD725 module swap for working bluetooth on Oreo.
Summary is that I have confirmed there are two versions of this module.
Using Type ONE (GOC-MD-725) module, I can now upgrade my PX5 to Oreo and have working BlueTooth (29/06/2020 - Users reporting MD725 Type one not working On Android 10 either.)
Get genuine MD725 Type 1 (GOC-MD-725) Here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32953209958.html
Updated: 29/06/2020 - Link to obtain an GOC-MD725 'Type 1'.

are all oreo roms affected
so i am new in the Android HU business and started with a MTCE PX5 4GB/32GB HU with Android 8.
Except for my Phone A2DP, Adressbook and Phonecalls, I can not facilitate BT for anything else.
Is this common for all Oreo-Roms?
or is it a Hardware-Limitation.
I would like to use my Phone's LTE Network over BT-Tethering for the HUs Internetaccess, and connect the OBD2 Adapter to the Android System.
Could all this be done with a MD725 BT Module? If so, where can i Find one, Has it some kind of Product-code? as my googling for the Chip does no find a product i can buy.
