gapps succesfully installed, can't find google play

As described here http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki...od_9_.28ICS.29. I installed quickflasher Quickflasher from broodplank (i9001_Quick_Flasher_v1.4.rar) and used this image: recovery-clockwork-5.5.0.4-ariesve.zip. I Wiped data/factory reset and did Wipe Cache partition. However I did not have the option Advanced > Wipe dalvik cache in CWN recovery.I was able to succesfully install CyanogenMod 9 ALPHA (Build 4) with update-cm-9-20120606-SNAPSHOT-ariesve-alpha4-signed.zip. Then I succesfully installed gapps package gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip with MD5SUM: 7c524e1e078164f681e0aa6753180b2c.
However after reboot I expected to see Google Play on the home screen or between the installed applications. What did I do wrong?
Just connect your phone on a wifi access point and now : The Google Play appears

Discussion: YunOS 3.0.1 for Mi3W

this is not my work, only a discussion thread.
root (flash via cwm):
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8eEOfHgMjiAQm1ndWxVV1Z6b3M/view?usp=sharing
my screenshots:

initial opinion:
- rom is very smooth
- you can select english language upon install; ui will be mostly english
- i installed a gapps minimal x package from here; play store starts, but won't connect/login to the account (that may be a temporary issue)
- i couldn't get any apk's to install, this may be down to some security settings i could't figure out yet (installation from unknown sources is permitted)
- live icons look rather nice
- location updated very quickly
- accented unicode characters like á, ű, ú, í (etc) are replaced with chinese characters in the weather app
- in messages, unicode characters are weirdly spaced, so don't expect full unicode support
bring on your experience!
do we get ota updates?
What is the version, also please share is everytging works on the app side
All ok.. Just no root.. Even flash supersu also cannot

how to install google in htc devices

FOR NON ROOTED USERS
Here i am going to say ....how to install google play store and other google apps on our device this method works for all htc devices brought in china where the google is banned....
FOR NON ROOTED USERS[/B
*For that process you have TO DOWNLOAD the app called GMS from(htc marketplace)
* Now just go to settings >security>unknown sources (it should be ticked)
* now install the app and open it up it will download about 192mb after the download is complete it ask the permission to store on our system storage and press ok for that .
* open the dial pad and dial *#*#442#*#* and then click call .. now our device automatically enters into boot menu and starts installing google apps and it will reboot itself ....... BE PATIENT TILL IT COMPLETES.
FOR ROOTED USERS

The same way as you will install a ROM : in TWRP -> Install, browse where you have stored xposed-vxx-sdk23-arm64.zip (here the link to the latest download : http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk23/arm64/xposed-v84-sdk23-arm64.zip), click on the file, "Swipe to confirm flash", then "Wipe Cache / Dalvik Cache" or on the main menu of TWRP : Wipe - > Advanced Wipe -> Select "Cache" and "Dalvik Cache".
You should be good to go.
