Currently I am using nacodex sold from Amazon.
It looks OK.
Cutout is right
It may look narrow but it's just right with Amzer case.
Easy cleaning layer looks fine. No fading so far.
I used the cheapest one I can find on Aliexpress, less than $2 each. Works fine, cutouts in all the right places, similar to any other tempered glass protector I've used on other phones.
^ You can get decent quality ones too from Ebay for $2...

I bought a cheap gel case off eBay, and I was happy with it for the price. I also bought an official HTC screen protector, which is great. The only problem I have found is that the sides of the gel case have a habit of pressing against the edge of the screen protector. After a while, the screen protector started peeling up along the left and right edges. I tried trimming the protector a little to prevent this, and now I have an awful scruffy looking screen protector that is still peeling up - LOL. Anyone have the same problems as me? I think maybe my case doesn't fit tightly enough, or perhaps it did and now it has stretched?
[UPDATE]: I bought a Capdase case which came with its own screen protector, and together the two items work perfectly. The case is a way better fit that other gel cases I have bought, with no loose parts or slack at all. It also looks slimmer than previous gel cases I have tried. I _highly_ recommend the Capdase case as the way to go if a gel case is what you want for your Hero.
many thanks, m8. care to share the link please?
kudos
Here's a link to the item on the Capdase website:

You might have to work out where you can buy one yourself though Think I got mine off eBay. I've had mine for 9 months or so now, and I still love it. It's wearing very well. Still 100% recommended.
I had one but I didn't like it much..
Does anyone know of any good one I should check out.
Does anyone have reviews on the invisible shield ?
well I can't recommend a good case because mine also isn't very good. As for invisible shield, I don't recommend getting one. It is expensive plus it makes the touch screen harder to use because it isn't smooth like glass. It sorta feels rubbery in a way when you touch it. Try looking for a Vikuiti screen protector for your surround. I don't think there is one yet but when it comes to screen protectors, Vikuiti by 3M is the best I have seen.

If you catch one of the many Zagg sales you can get the invisible shields for 1/2-1/3 off. It's not terribly expensive then. Rubbery feeling not withstanding, the Zagg does offer excellent protection against scuffs and scratches. It also gives you a better grip on the phone and makes it less likely to be dropped if you get the full-body protection. It won't do much for drops if it happens, though. For that you probably need a proper shell. For a belt holster, I'm just using one I picked up at a local closeout retailer for about $4 or so. It works great but probably won't work with a shell on the phone though.
I bought an economic one (rubberized Hard Skin Case - U$3) in ebay. Now is bare and ugly. I do not recommend it.
I bought too 5x Clear LCD Protectors for U$2, and works fine
case
best ones are available for ebay under $10. considering the value of the phone, there is no piont spending anything more
Anyone know a reliable cheap tempered glass screen protector brand on ebay? My first time using tempered glass and I want to get the right one for my new baby
icarez is about $10 and seems to have a good rating on amazon. Pretty sure you can find it eBay too
You're going to want rounded beveled edges, 8H-9H hardness, and oleophobic covering.
Make sure the protector is thin enough, I've heard from people that .4mm and above screen protectors can be not sensitive enough to touch.
I've also heard that you want the cut out for the speaker to be a hole rather than a whole chunk missing as that leaves a large part of the screen (including the edge) vulnerable and attracts dust.
Hope that helped!
Are there any protectors with the same cut out as the spigen, but thinner than 0.4 and not $30

I have the icarez glass on my G3 and think it's great for the price. It covers the entire screen just about. There is enough space from the edges to use a case with no issues. Install was a breeze and they packaged it nicely with a wet wipe, micro cloth, squeegee, and lint stickers. The edges are rounded as well.

Agreed - got my .33mm version yesterday - installed easily and it works with my Spigen case with no problems.
This is the one I use:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JV93WC4/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Had it on since the first day, absolutely no bubbles, dust, etc. Has a perfect fit and works very well with my Diztronic case (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KN7UQ6I/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1).
I highly recommend this combination.
xtremeguard.. go to there facebook page and there is a code for 85% off all glass protectors.. ends up being like 6 bucks a piece.. has the the speaker cut out. its a little thicker than some but touch functions work just fine. i have it on my verizon g3 right now
I can vouch for the full body skin from Bestskinsever - really good material (although I wish it was more oleophobic) and sticks well after a couple of days....need to keep pressing the edges to ensure they don't lift initially. I didn't use the top, bottom and sides since I have a case.
However, if you have a case for the back (I got the Spigen Liquid Crystal) it WILL lift the corners. Maybe the " case" version of the skin works better, I got a free replacement as I flagged the corners issue.
So what does a full body skin have to do with full coverage TEMPERED GLASS ??
I was gonna pick up the Amfilm one but tried a generic 2 pack instead. Works pretty well, but there still exists the issue with slight lost of sensitivity on the edges sometimes. I've used with a couple cases and it fits well, even with slight lips. I'll take some photos and post in main tempered glass thread.

I'm using amfilm at the minute and yes there is loss of sensitivity unfortunately. It isn't a massive issue for me as I can feel myself adjusting. The protector is cut very well though with a slight gap around the edges so you can still use a case. I'm using a Spigen rugged armour with no issues at all. It's definitely the best compromise I have found so far.
My mother and I have had the S8 since release. We have never had an issue with breaking the screens until this phone! The Zagg one on release day absolutely stunk as the adhesive was only on the curved part of the protector leaving the whole screen non responsive to our touch. Since then we have been daring and been going without one. Within the last 3 months my mother dropped her phone twice. The phone was replaced at a $149 deductible the first time. I refuse to pay it again until I can find a screen protector that works!
Please help!
Full adhesive, curved edges, perfect glass cover.. Can be purchased from Home Depot or Amazon!
Samsung Glass Screen Protector - Ultra Thin Tempered Glass with Easy Applicator and Cleaning Kit - Smudge, Fingerprint, Scratch and Shatter Resistant - ProGlass by Tzumi
Doesn't make since to make another thread, but I'm looking for something that's similar. Preferably one that is case friendly, doesn't ruin touch sensitivity, and doesn't have a weird cutout for the sensors at the top. I bought the Pro Glass one in the above post, but it wasn't case friendly.

As far as I know, having tempered glass only won't help when the phone drops.
For myself, I watched several people try drop testing S8 using rhino shield bumper case (can search on YouTube). I too, have one, but since I don't like the glass back getting smeared with fingerprint, I go to otterbox defender (a hefty one), and finally to spigen tough armor (the one I currently use).
For record, I have dropped my phone twice (forgot whether using defender or rhinoshield), without any tempered glass, and the phone is still working without flaw.

$30 for a screen protector does not look promising!

Neither is wasting money on cheaper versions that just don't work. If this one actually prevents screen damage without compromising the user experience then it's a good investment.
I bought these.. pretty good in my opinion, for the price

What case are you using with your GOBUKEE?
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B074SJV133/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I got these. There is about ~1mm gap between top and bottom edges clearance with spigen tough armor on. The sides of the glass are almost right on the edges of the case. I don't recommend using it without a case or with rhino bumper bc it doesn't go to the edges and feels weird bc of the extra gap. It does come with a tool that clips onto the phone to line it up perfect. I'm happy with it.
I'm using a Spigen case. I do have an S8 active, so the case is different, but Spigen makes great stuff
Incipio Plex Plus Shield Edge is awesome, had mine for a couple months and it's still attached lol
I purchased these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B078W2LZM6?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd
It may be a PET protector but it does the job and is super thin and case friendly. Another aspect is that it's cheap! 3 for 8 bucks and was easy to install.

Spigen offers a tempered curved protector that fits. Mine cracked after 2 months, still usable. Experienced a few spots in the corners where touch responsiveness is decreased.
What is the best Glass Screen Protector for Galaxy S8
I've always admired how my friend’s phone looked so seamless and smooth, it always fooled me thinking that his screen protector came with the phone when he purchased it. To my surprise, he installed it himself. Now I’m not a bad friend, but this guy can get excruciatingly stupid at times. I thought if someone as dense as him had managed to somehow not mess up with wet installation, how hard can it be?
I got the Ounier screen protectors, a squeegee, a tiny piece of cloth, a manual, and a small bottle spray solution. I’m the old-fashioned type, I never even knew that “wet installation” is actually a thing if not for my buddy. All these items looked so weird to me. I’ll never understand how people come up with this stuff but if it works, then it's fine with me.
