Hello, I have buy this device:
YUNTAB Android 4.4.2 Mini PC a 1,8 GHz Quad Core con 2G RAM DDR3 RK3188 TV Box TV Dongle Bluetooth WIFI HDMI MK809 III
I haven't root the device yet and is with the stock room
I have been looking for all options but it maybe have disabled(deleted) the option like mobile phones to shutdown the screen when they are not in use. Because of that if I fell asleep watching something the screen remains turned on, is there any option to enable this like Windows when you are not using computer it suspend, and the monitor/TV shutdown because is not receiving signal?
-Another thing I have observed is that the mouse center button click that in tablets or phones makes it shutdown the screen in this device its does nothing
Thanks

Hello
I own an Android device called Mele A2000 which runs Android 4.0.4 and has 3 USB host ports, one of them "OnTheGo". (AllWinner A10 chipset, concept is a tv-box like google tv with remote control).
Plugged into one of them is my WD external harddrive, which my Linux computer powers down if it is unused.
The android 3.0.8 kernel power management though switches it off just to power it on again after a few minutes. And then switches it of again nearly instantly. This happens for hours.
Is there a software to controll media queries? Do I have to disable FTP/SSH servers? Any hints how I can monitor which software repeatedly reads from /mnt/usbhost0/* ? Any nice power monitoring apps I can install?
Media scanning from sd and usb is disabled in the android settings.
Thanks,
Fenrasa
Please.. anybody?
Repostng from http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/xda-assist/how-to-screen-conencted-to-hdmi-t3034840
I recently bought Isun 407 3G tablet ( MTK 8377) and connected to my TV using HDMI cable.
When connecting, The Screen automatically turns OFF. I need the screen to stay ON.
Turning off the screen while playing videos is alright. but I need to do google search while connected.
The tablet runs on Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean).
On searching there are ways to turn off the screen but i need the inverse.
Pls help.
Update: I tried service to call screen wake up when the HDMI cable is connected.
HDMI connection is received properly in broadcast receiver where as the display is not turned on.
so I recently bought a Blaupunkt 50" smart tv that also supports miracast and I've been trying to get it to mirror the screen of one of my android devices.
I have a LG L bello (D331) on android 4.4.2 that doesn't have the option to wirelesly connect
and I also have an F&U 9" tablet (ETB9544) running on android 4.2.2 and it does have the option of wireless display!
my tablet sees the tv as available to connect and it does but as soon as the image is projected on the tv,the image freezes.
the tablet continues working as usual but the tv keeps displaying the image the tablet had when it connected and after a while it just disconnects alltogether.
if I try again to connect them, the tv tells me to input a code on my tablet but no message pops up on my tablet in order to do so and the tablet just says "connecting" till it fails and stops.
if I restart the tablet, the same thing happens....first it connects with the screen frozen and then it doesn't connect at all.
none of my devices are rooted.
could anyone help with this miracast thing?
I'm so close it hurts!
I'm having an odd issue that's been causing my Android TV box to become unresponsive (interface gets sluggish and then remote inputs are repeated 2-30 times, so generally need to do a hard reboot). I suspect it has something to do with my IPTV box, and possibly it's standby screen (it outputs an idiot signal even when off telling you the box is in standby). If I don't switch to the IPTV box, it's generally rock solid, but after going back and forth (seems random - can be 1 switch or 10) it eventually locks up.
It started when I upgraded to the new 4K IPTV box, which also required changing my receiver (damn HDCP). I'm thinking it's not the receiver as I've seen it happen at least once on my secondary TV in the basement(used infrequently, so I'm not 100% sure), which has a similar IPTV box (just lacking the PVR function), but both devices are directly connected to the TV inputs.
Anyone have any ideas? Both my boxes appear to be no longer supported, so a software fix is probably a pipedream, but I can't just buy a new box as they all seem to be AMLogic based.
Setup:
Samsung 55" 4K 6300 series
Yamaha RX-385 Reciever (Switches HDMI imputs, and plays sound via ARC)
Mi Box 3 and Jetstream AGT-418
Arris VIP-5662W (Telus TV Mediaroom)
