Produk Samsung Is The Best - Samsung Galaxy S7 Accessories

:good::laugh: Slowly but surely the Android pie chart is growing in favor of the latest version of Android, Android Lollipop! More and more devices seem to be receiving the update each day. The AT&T Galaxy S4 has finally began to receive its update via Over The Air. As most updates go this one is being sent out in batches. You can check to see if your device is ready for the update by heading to your settings, then about phone, then software update. If you aren't seeing the update you can now install it manually. The file has been captured and uploaded to Android File Host. Just download the file to your sdcard and install it manually via stock recovery. Of course in order for this to work you need to be stock unrooted, and running the stock recovery. Grab the file from the link below.

[Q] Prime not getting OTA after manual update

I have installed 9.4.2.11.1 manually from HoneyCome
I have no issue with freezes or lockups, but I realized It stopped giving me an OTA updates.
While some people are getting .14 update, I am still on 11.1 and even when I check for an update, Prime says there is no update for me.
Is it because I manually updated my prime? If so, how do I get OTA update back?
You are on a beta build of sorts so the actual firm ware updates don't recognize your Build # as one that needs to be updated.
What you need to do is manually up date to a current Build # and get back in the loop. I just did this myself, here are the steps. It's easy and only takes a little time.
Go to the Asus firmware download site.
http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&p=20&s=16&m=Eee+Pad+Transformer+Prime+TF201&os=&hashedid=FqCKMQDqgvSncfFM
Download the firmware update for version 13.
Then follow the instructions here to manually update (you probably already know this since you are on 11.1
http://service.asus.com/infopage.aspx?rid=18
You'll update and be on version 13 and your Prime will now "see" OTAs.
Check for firmware updates, it will say there is a new version and it will start to download 14.
ta-da!! You (and I) are back in the loop for OTAs

[Q] Un-root Nabi 2

Ok as the in the title I have a Nabi2 that is running twrp 2.2.2.1 is OS 4.0.4 kernel 3.1.10-000298 a while back I followed a video to root this device
and put the play store on the device. It worked great and I have been able to down load many games and apps i couldn't before but.. Now there are
a few OTA updates that won't work that I would like to update to. If any one knows and can
explain step by step how to remove twrp and get this device back to stock so the OTA updates will take I would be very appreciative this is the first
device that I have rooted so please spare no small detail. I have tried going into twrp and hit restore and then tried to apply the package
"stockunrooted" but it didn't work. The update I am trying to upgrade to is the v2.1.

Why 2.1 and not the latest? This is the best method to get to the latest software. Pic the link for US or UK depending on where you are.

T-Mobile OTA Update and CF Auto Root?

I got notification this morning that my S6 Edge was delivered to my office this morning! I'm on my way there.
I've downloaded Chainfire's Auto-Root in preparation of my S6 Edge.
My question is...
T-Mobile already issued an OTA update right out of the box, according to "the internet".
Should I:
1) OTA Update and then Root
2) Root and then OTA Update
3) Root and don't OTA Update
4) OTA update and don't Root, but wait a little while longer to make sure all the proper files are available
Thanks for any guidance...
My 2 cents: Don't take the OTA & don't root it either... Wait for few days till everybody (or especially the dev's) have their devices to see what's the best option.
if you are certain that you are going to root it, then just root the phone..
no reason to EVER take a OTA update, once the development starts on this phone, any thing good that is part of a t mobile update will be added in by the devs..
If you want to root it, I would do it first and hold off on the OTA until the full tarball is made available.
That probably won't be for a few weeks until the official release.
One note: You're probably going to need this version of Odin. Seems like other versions aren't working properly:
http://www.rwilco12.com/Files/Misc Files/Odin3/Odin3 v3.10.6.zip
As someone who dove right in with the OTA and root, let me tell you my experience with the S6 Edge. First, the version of Odin that comes with the auto root does not work. You need to download 3.10.06. Then, when I pushed the autoroot for the S6 Edge, my device got hung on the initial splash screen and would never progress. After thinking I bricked my device, I decided to try the autoroot version for the regular S6. I pushed that and everything went through flawlessly. So, in short I am now on the latest OTA and rooted.

Updating AT&T GPE Conversion to 5.1 OTA

I got a notification today that the 5.1 update is available for GPe phones via the System Update tool in settings. I have converted the AT&T phone to GPe, but just wondering if there are any gotchas anyone can think of? Scared to take the plunge.
As long as you haven't made any changes to system files, you should be fine. Also, you can't be rooted. You must be 100% stock to apply the OTA update. There is an RUU available (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2708589) if something goes wrong.
Uh oh - I'm rooted. Should going into SuperSU and performing the full unroot operation be all that is necessary in your experience? Other than that, the phone would be completely stock (only used root for File Explorer purposes).
You can definitely try that, or you can flash the ROM and Firmware individually (which I would highly recommend). Those packages are available here: http://www.graffixnyc.com/m8.php
Scroll down and you should see these:
Rooted Flashable Stock Rom Build: 5.1
(Zip compiled by [email protected])
MD5: 063006c70395cf401af0d1b27b4473e8
5.1 LMY470.H4 4.04.1700.4 Firmware Zip (Contains stock boot img, stock recovery, hboot, radio etc)
MD5: a3e2bd4b51c0ceff46e52f521e9454be
After I downloaded the update, it prompted me to reboot to install, and then all of the sudden in the middle of the countdown, it reverted to telling me my device is up to date, and there is no evidence of the 240mb downloaded file anywhere. Strange. Maybe I will steer clear for now.

Updates with TWRP, ROOT and/or XPOSED

Hey guys,
I have my tablet since one week. I love it, all works fine, Xposed offers me OBB move and so on. But now I have a question:
How can I get the new Updates for my Tablet with ROOT/TWRP?I know OTA can't be updated due to TWRP, but is there any way to flash updates dirty?! (like with LineageOS, OxygenOS, ... )
At the moment, if I try to search for new updates, I get following message:
The operating system on your device hase been modified in an unauthorised way. Try downloading softwar updates using Smart Switch on PC or visit a customer service centre.
Maybe someone got an early version of the Tab S3 with early factory Android and can give some enlightenment.
Greetz,
CM
First, this should be posted in the q&a section. You're going to have to flash the upgrade firmware tar in odin. Then re-set up your device and re-root. It's a pita. Google has gotten better at saving your apps and data, which helps, or use something like titanium backup
isn't it enough flashing stock recovery and uninstall supersu via app?
I've been away from Samsung devices for awhile, I've been using Nexus but just got a tab3. I haven't tried this but it's possible that you could flash the update.zip that would be pushed to your device using flashfire. You would probably also be able to retain root and TWRP. Maybe someone with more recent samsung use could confirm that. However, based on the message you're getting the update looks like it won't be pushed to your device. And afik samsung doesn't publish the ota, only the full firmware so someone here would have to capture the ota and post it. Whenever samsung gets around to providing an update we can play around with it and see.
PS, do you have a flashable copy of the stock recovery?
