Wrong thread, but what firmware zip did you flash and how? Also update TWRP to 3.0.0 first and redo the process. Firmware(flash twice) then Bad Boyz ROM. And yes it a rooted ROM.

Almost every GSM ROM has 4G. You just need the APNs..
I tried almost all roms and here in Canada only king cobra' s working with 4g.
Nothing to do with apn settings.I think rogers is using some different trick...Europeans Roms works only with 3g.

Trust me, Rogers isn't using some 'trick.'
I'm on Rogers and it is due to APN settings.
Just flash a ROM and fix the APNs. Lmao.
It works. Trust me.
i use same apn settings on all roms and trust me only king cobra's working on 4g.anybody else with same issue?

Works great in India, although you wont get OTA updates. So, you have to DL the RUU.exe to update the phone.
Mine worked fine in Canada on Rogers Wireless and is working fine in the USA on AT&T. Just need to add the appropriate APN data of course.
it works in India as i'm currently using it
and don't worry about OTA updates as there aren't any
when updates come just put the mode in CDMA and update it
Thanks
Thanks everyone. And please come to this thread, would appreciate any help

I simply unlocked the bootloader via HTC Dev, facepalm s-off, recovery, etc.
Then flashed CM10.1 & Gapps. Everything including data is working fine, just having a few common issues as noted in CM10.1 thread such as MMS problems
SIM slot is factory unlocked

I have unlocked bootloader using the manual method from mdmower's post here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2214653
and I'm using Facepalm S-Off as well and using CWM recovery. After I flashed CM 10.1 and Gapps and inserted my sim card the most data I get is E. For the APN I'm using the post from the T-Mobile website here:
http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-1979
I have also used the *#*#4636#*#* in the dialer to access the Testing menu and change to WCDMA preferred. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks :good:
I have a T-mobile htc one that I made a developer edition through s-ff and using adb shll.. i downloaded the 1.29.1540.16 RUU from brightstar and installed it flawlessly. i checked for an update and it was available, but as it tried to install it mentioned that i had a modfiied version of the system..and that i need to return to stock.....
well first off all.. i am stock... there is no custom recovery..radio..etc...just the stock 1.29.1540.16 Developer Edition RUU. Is there osmething im missing? the whole reason i changed my cid to 11111111 (dev edition/international) was so tht i would be able to get updates directly from HTC.
what to do?

You have to adb and download the android developers tools from the adroid Dev website... If you already have that the go to the international HTC One forum and there is a thread that had the link to how to do it

it does not break lte or 4g but once you chane your cid the icons will change. it will be 3g= regular 4g
h = hspa+ and lte = lte obviously
but you need to change your mid and cid using adb in order to get direct updates. there is a forum somewhere but i can't find it now...

I too would like to know this....but only for the fact that i dont want issues. Im using a tmobile htc one on att unlocked.
No clue which bands do what on T-Mobile, but yeah I've seen it switch from 2g, to 3g, to HSPA+, and to LTE so I'm assuming I maintained all bands. I did however have to flash the T-Mobile radio after converting to the developer edition to be able to pick up LTE.

Im assuming you mean LTE for T-Mobile...right? Also you did this so you can get OTAs from HTC? Besides that, what other advantages are there?
Yeah T-Mobile LTE. There are no other reasons besides no longer having to wait on T-Mobile to approve updates. If it's taking HTC this long to officially release 4.2.2, imagine how long it'll take carriers to do all their testing of the finalized OTA once it's sent to them. I'd like to believe T-Mobile has been testing 4.2.2 for several weeks though. I don't know what the hold up is on the HTC side.

hey guys im a newbie with this so if anyone can help me out i would gratefully appreciate it. I just got a verizon s4 and im trying to get 4g lte . its complete stock factory settings . when i first put it on i saw the 4g lte sign then i messed with it and switched it to gsm mode and all i can get is h+ and the h icon. I tryed putting it back to global but still nothing i get no data on global .currently using gsm mode and im only seeing 2 bars of reception most of the time . the speeds are from 0.72 mbps to 4.0 download and same for upload ping at 601 ms not fast at all very disappointing . so if someone can please help me out i would really be thankful . also im using metro pcs which is basically merged with tmobile

What baseband and modem revision are you running?
It sounds like the area that you're in just doesn't have good coverage in the bands that the Verizon GS4 covers. If you have an AWS-capable modem, it might get you better coverage (if T-mobile has AWS, that is.). But in the end, you bought a Verizon phone. Using it on other carriers is always going to be spotty.

Well follow this to the T of you want to root and rom and also read read read as I don't have safe strap and doesn't apply to me. I have the first bootloader is why I don't really have to to much info on it. Also if you don't care maybe just update to the newest and have the newest radios to test. They are better imo.
