There were no problems with the buttons.

As mentioned, you're probably hard bricked, but there is hope!
Check at this thread, and be sure to go to the OP (Original Post): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1496360
Follow the instructions. And, if you are running Windows as your native OS on your computer, nevermind the part where it mentions installing the Windows VirtualBox.
Again follow the instructions, and you should be fine. Otherwise, send me a PM and I'll do whatever I can to help.
Yes, no virtual box needed!
I confirm, after some uses of the "resurrector" I have done that the virtual box is not needed when having a windows 7 computer, just reboot from ubuntu, in my case, to win 7 WITHOUT UNPLUGING the device worked fine (several times). A huge and welcomed simplification!!!! Then go Odin or Adb as you like. good luck.

Thanks for your confirmation there. But, what exactly do you mean boot from Ubuntu to Windows 7? Are you running dual operating systems on one computer? If that's the case, that's not a feature that the everyday user is going to use.
By the way, does anyone know if the resurrector software is compatible with Windows? If not, Windows users will have to set up a Linux VirtualBox.

That's what I thought you meant. I think that's great that you partitioned your disk for dual operating systems.
But, to be perfectly honest, I really doubt that there are many users in this forum who have done that.
From what I've seen, most users run a dedicated OS and install a VirtualBox to meet their needs.
JTAG
It may need to be JTAG'd. This is basically a recovery for a hard bricked device. You will have to find a JTAG service to do it for you, because it is very hard to do and the equipment is very expensive.
Sorry I can't post this in the Android Development forum due to low post count. I installed the Nameless kitkat rom and the gapps install didn't work. After installing, 3 computers do not recognize the device so I can't flash another rom. Because gapps isn't installed, I don't know of a way to transfer a rom file to it to fix this issue.
Any suggestions? Only thing i can think of is set up a ftp server and download a rom via the browser.
Its in the second post. Under tips.

Doesn't work? Do you have the proper drivers installed?
Keep in mind that the Samsung supplied drivers are finicky on some platforms... I have had very bad experiences on Vista, and trying to connect multiple different P7510's over the same driver, forcing older tablets to be 'forgotten'.
If it does not recognise the tablet, repeat uninstall the dirver, reboot, install driver reboot and try to connect multiple times in a row. Sometimes you can get lucky.
Otherwise you could try the supplied driver, found in http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_p4wifi, at the caption Samsung USB Drivers with Escape which seems to work fine for almost all.
Thanks
Thanks for your help. I reinstalled the driver with escape and it is now working. Appreciate your assistance.

I have been looking for a root method as well. I tried RootGenius, KingORoot, and UNRoot Pro to no avail. I kept searching, and ran across this method, but was unable to get it to work. Perhaps someone here can figure out how to make it work.

Turn on your tablet, once it boots, plug in your USB cable. Then goto settings and uncheck USB Debugging.
Exit out of settings, then turn off the tablet. Leave your USB cable plugged in.
Hold the Volume up+ and power button at the same time, about 3-4 Seconds you see the screen say FASTBOOT, or just flash, (you can let go of the VOL/PWR Buttons Now) and your PC should start loading the rockchip drivers. Just follow the rest of the guide at freaktab to get Root.
Good luck.
Vroot 1.7.7 works with the Samsung Galaxy Tab SM-T230NU...but the trick is to not allow it to auto update to 1.7.8. You've got to install it...disconnect your wifi or Ethernet ...run Vroot 1.7.7... Then reconnect to internet and try rooting....if someone can give this a shot, it might be helpful
Here's the link for Vroot 1.7.7

ive tried everything and my sero 8 isnt doing shiet, the fricken app to flash aint doing shiet either>>>> wtf -_-
It took me a little bit to get this rooted, their instructions aren't very thorough. I had to download the TWRP package and run the driver install tool inside it to get the drivers installed. After that it went just like the instructions.
Hey, i´ve got the Hisense Sero 8 Pro, is it the same Tablet like here? I didn`t get the drivers to work and google said the Chipset of the 8 Pro is RK3288 . Is it Possible to root this one with this Methode too? When i plug in to Win7 without anything on the Power and Volume up button (volume up is a Softwarebutton) then Windows says it´s an F5281 (hope this info can help)

No way, They're not responding to my emails. I broke my power connector. It will be a while to get it replaced. My old hands are not steady enough to handle an iron.
Yea, I sent HiSense an email asking them about upgrades and it was never answered.

Hi, I've just got a Hisense Sero 8 tablet, I've rooted stuff before but having no luck. I've tried a few mothods on here, but when I set up debugging it never asks my to authorise my computer. I've installed the rock chip drivers from one of your links, power and volume up doesn't load boot loader or fast boot. Really struggling here. The usb debugging not asking me to allow my pc is an odd one. Any ideas on getting this device rooted and a rom installed that allows me to move stuff to my sd card??

HI guys, is there a possibility that venue 10 5050 installs the windows10?
Hey there. I'm interested in doing something like this too - it seems logical that Dell devices like the Venue 10 and 8 7480 might support this given their hardware.
There's a thread about the Venue 8 7840 happening at the moment, although at the time of writing there doesnt appear to be any solution yet!

Could you outline the process for doing this?
That is, if that is the non pro version.
I would like to know too. I've been able to get into the BIOS and had a bit of trouble locating the boot tab. I suspect if those pictures were in fact from the 5050 (non-pro), then they were from a pre-update state (since I noticed that a few updates seemed to touch the UEFI firmware.
To get to the boot selection screen - Press power and up until the blue bar appears at the dell boot logo
Then use vol up to "scroll" and vol down to select

I can confirm those were from a 5050 non-pro, the service tag is listed in one of the pictures.

Hi,
I bought tablet Voyo vbook i7 plus.
Very good tablet. But just noisy and poor speakers only.
I decided to flash bios with the last 2018-07-27 firmware.
Now it is not working: when power on, just blue led, not starting, no screen on.
Is there someone can help? Example: to send me old firmware or where to download previous firmware?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Best regards
I have the same situation. I switched the bios to compatibility mode to get booting from the flash drive in legacy mode instead of efi. Now it is not working: when power on, just blue led, not starting, no screen on. HELP me!
Hello,
I also buy a voyo i7plus tablet. I was very happy exepter a little bug a little painful: on battery in less than 50% battery the tablet had a tendency to go out ... which led me to want to update the bios ..
So I am in the same situation .... I wanted to update the bios with the files downloaded on the website of Voyo and when power on, just blue led ans black screen…
I think the only way out of this bad situation is to flash the bios chip with a ch341 programmer. I tried to do it with the file provided ur quote: "300t_8m.bin" but no change ....For that we need a valid bios .....
If anyone can provide us one, it will save us our tablets ....
thank you in advanceI

Hello everyone, I am French and I translate with google.
I have a problem with my "VOYO VBook I7 Plus Intel Core I7-7500U" tablet.
I have a black screen, amber or blue power light on. I formatted the hdd and deleted the recovery partition, everything worked fine, I did "secure boot" to re-install windows 10 family with a usb key, it worked well and on 1st boot I got "l 'black screen', being French I cannot recover bios drivers, OS and firmware from the voyo site. I tried the reset for 2 minutes, as indicated on the forum, without success, the solution might be, if someone could send me a bios, I could maybe restart my tablet? ....
With many thanks
