I've been looking but can't find anything official. What is the latest official android version for this device? I found this site that says this device got Lollipop Spring last year: http://htcsource.com/2015/01/leaked-document-reveals-htcs-lollipop-update-roadmap/
My device is still on 4.4.2 though even after running the latest RUU I could find.

Am noob to flashing and dvice working fine. if u want to use the custom rom cm 12.1 is being tested and cm 11 is stable jus use windriod to unlock bootloader and load twrp and ur basically good to go
remeber backup before unlocking to save her data
Yea, I've used CM 11, but I'm not a huge fan of CM. A bit to bland for my tastes.
Sent from my HTC Desire 610 using Tapatalk
only other bet is stock or slim rom which have bootloop issues
Well, I'm using stock right now. I'll probably go with CM in the end so I can use viper4android.

I am using Samsung Galaxy Ace 2.
I was doing a research about CyanogenMod, and I read that allmost everywhere there are some things that doesnt work. For example camera, bluetooth etc.
I just rooted my phone Just for that mod.... and if I cant get my cam or BT to work I dont find it useful. Is there any chance of getting fully working cyanogenmod ?
Thanks
Well that is all up to the hard working devs of your phone
It might take sometime to fix it or it might never be fixed. It depends on if the rom is official cyanogenmod or a unofficial rom and how much effort devs are willing to put in.

Well seeing as the ace us a different device from the ace 2 you really can't flash roms made for a different phone unless you know how to port it to your phone.

Ace 2 doesn't have Official CM Support.
These bugs in unofficial builds are due to lack of sources from companies that are reluctant to open source their drivers.
Is someone porting this to our phone just curious?
Probably not, it would have too much trouble running android M, maybe CM 12, which is on android L
If no Cyanogenmod 11 fully working ... is very unlikely to port Cyanogenmod 13
Do we have no hope for anything past CM 11 for our phone?

Really for CM12? I did see someone awhile back was trying to port but discontinued. Why with our phone being Snapdragon 400 and on Moto G CM 12 and 13 ports working. Is it because the 1gb ram?
Its not possible to port CM12

You cannot port lollipop roms from kitkat. Lollipop uses a whole different filesystem. And no., its not because of the 1gb of ram. It is the filesystem change. But, it is possible to build CM12 or CM13(when its a lot more stable) to our 610. I'm sure someone is already bulding CM12 from source. Right now, I'm porting CM11.
If you really, want LP now, theme your phone

Well I stand corrected, miniblu is working on cm12.1. Right now and has plans for cm13!!!
Hey,
I've been using CM's Nightly 6.0 ROM [11/26] for the past 24hrs and it's OK, most things work properly, although flashing SuperSU gets me bootlooped and I cannot gain root access in any other way (Dev options etc).
So I've been wondering, for those of you who are using a Marshmallow ROM on your OPO,which one are you using and how stable is it?
Latest official cm13 nightly, most stable so far.
There is root, it works fine.
Ask that in Android General or somewhere..this is for deveolpment i believe....but try VM13 its the best 6.0 IMO
Broken Os is flawless. Can't be found on XDA though. Over on Google +.
I like darkobas as a rom and you need to also go on google plus as no xda

Faster and more stable, and kernel 3.10. CM has some problems such as bluetooth connection or suddenly get soft reboot, or some crazy issues when your device works for a long time without reboot. And I think have no reason for trying a unlocked bootloader ROM with kernel 3.4.

That is not pure AOSP. I am telling about AOSP 5.1.1 by FXP team..
Fxp team aosp 5.1.1 is alright but its camera is really bad and the rom has several performance issues
I'd love to switch from stock to cyanogenmod but i keep getting random soft reboots
Aosp is harder to port but provides a faster and smoother aswell as a more pure experience
Cm is easier to port but same as aosp, if not done properly then its not worth

It's not right. AOSP is more easier to port but it's not popular as well as CM so there're less developers do that.

I know Rajeev, had to do it often enough
Although I prefer the dd method from inside the phone. (terminal use also is beginning to be quite annoying with selinux and noexec-mounts, by the way...)
I9100 CyanogenMod 12.1Since cm12.1 was no longer support by cm official and @Markox89 began to build cm13 instead cm12.1.I decide to build cm12.1 by myself. It is based on newest cm12.1 code, because i repo source code before i build it.It is official code and i don't change anything.By the way,i am even not a developer,i just repo source code then build it.i am chinese,my english is poor. So, i won't give change log and other thing which other post give. The main feature is same with CM12.1.NOTHING WAS CHANGED.you can post bug and maybe i can solve it,but the probability is very low,i think?
IMPORANT:i have tested the rom,it should be ok.i have changed my data and system partition to 4G and 1G,then run ./extract-files.sh to get proprietary files(aka “blobsâ€) which official guide refer to,i don't know its influence,if you know what you are doing, you can flash it.
Your warranty is now void.
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed.
i use Ubuntu16.04 to build it.
Other thing you want please research on thread.
if you have any advices, please say it out.

This gets consistently stuck in boot animation, while the CM11 rom of yours works fine. It is a shame really as it is difficult to find CM 12 rom that would work with ISOREC, as the recovery the old official builds puts in there is basically worthless.
