Well, this mod has "bugs" in Stock ROM. May work in ROMS as S5 PORT, etc.
I deodexed this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...t/gt-i9192-galaxy-s4-mini-duos-4-4-2-t2832673 and the result :

@ADR USR
it is because of framework-res.apk,
what you can do
1. flash systemui only
2. Use this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-mini/development/s6-n-n5-project-t3246171
or other lollipop ports, which have white backgrounds and black text as primary
Lovely thanks. its working on my i9190. rom is same as yours.

Well, I prefer to use SilviuMik rom for its stability, zero bug, battery, etc.
But his work inspired me. :good: I decided to change only SystemUI, framework and Settings of SilviuMik rom . Thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you for this good work.
Can you explain how did you do this? Which programs did you use? Should we know java, xml or another language for porting framework and SystemUI like you did.
Sorry for my bad English

it is not that hard, anyone can do it
Little bit xml knowledge
you will need APK tool, Notepad ++,
any photo editing app such as photoshop (photoshop is easy for getting color codes which are required in xml editing)
decompile systemui.apk
then goto layout folder
and edit xml files
just see xml file carefully, and do modification
change icons png images from drawable folder
recompile, don't forget to sign
finally replace it
do search on google such as 'systemui modding guide xda'
For those who do not wish to install port ROM: Mod Framework/SystemUi/Settings - Deodexed Stock Roms
sorry ...
-Screen mirroring does not work
Attention: backup and Only flash the zip in deodexed rom . . No necessary wipes.
NOTE: If you do not want SFinder and Quick Connection delete :
system / priv-app / sfinder.apk
system / app / sfinder.apk
system / app / QuickConnectInteraction.apk
system / app / QuickConnect.apk
and To hide SFinder and quick connection use Wanam Xposed module.

just flash it from recovery
make backup of following files before flashing
framework-res.apk
systemUI.apk
if you want notification background and brightness slider to be changed,
download: Marshmallow TouchWiz SystemUI + framework.zip file
this file contain framework-res.apk, from S6_Lolllipop_Port_ROM_v6
You can do following changes if you want:
Change font of SystemUI.apk, original fonts doesn't look perfect
Use fonter pro app
i'm using Roboto-Regular
Use S5 systemui theme xposed module
for Tab pro recent apps
Set dpi of systemUI.apk to 220, using apps settings xposed module
it will lower the size of panel and status bar

Toggles: widgetsoid
Music: poweramp
My icons for my dock are from the adw theme glow legacy pro that I extracted to use the icons with desktop Visualizer, but will not share as it is a paid app. The other icons are from the launcher pro website (free).
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:
Easy way: flash via cwm. (Should work, untested)
Slow, safer way:
1. Download and extract zip.
2. Make sure you have a way to recover from bootloops.
3. Using root explorer or equivalent, copy systemUI.apk in the extracted app folder to /system/app/ and overwrite the old one (make a backup of it first). Change the permissions to rw-r--r-
You will now get FC errors and might even crash, this is normal! Reboot.
4. Do the same with framework-Res.apk and twframework-Res.apk into the /system/framework/ folder. You will crash after doing framework-res.apk, that is normal. Now download the music player.apk and googlequicksearchbox.apk and put them in system/apps/ like you did with systemUI.apk. These two are only needed if you want the themed music controls and search widget.
DO NOT FLASH 3.0, EXTRACT AND MANUALLY COPY PNGS INTO YOUR APK!
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY BRICKS/BOOT LOOPS! I am not sure if it will work on the international 4.0, try at your own risk.
Enjoy!

I tried to flash it using CWM, but unfortunately it didn't work. It booted, then asked me which launcher I wanted to use. But it didn't respond, and after like 10 secs of freezing it goes ack to the bootanimation at startup, then again asks me which launcher I want to start, then again bootanimation showup, etc etc etc.

Hmm, I just thought of a possible reason of this not working: I am still odexed, meaning I still have a systemUI.odex instead of it being built into the apk. Now, if someone was deodexed, that would mean they wouldn't have the systemUI.odex, hence a problem, correct?

Okay, posting the systemUI.odex, will look into deodexing it later.
The only thing I don't know about is if the odex will work for a deodexed rom, or if it needs to be deodexed. For now, I would maybe stay away from this if you are deodexed, unless you are willing to go through bootloops, etc.
Here is the systemUI.odex, if anyone wants to deodex, or test something. http://db.tt/dlbsDhv8
Sent using Tapatalk
Alright, after looking into deodexing it, I have decided that I really don't have time to work on it now, as I need to get ready to go on a 2 week trip this Sunday. So, the theme is there, it should work on a stock, odexed rom, and if anyone wants, they can deodex it. If not, I will work on it when I get back. I might be able to remove the "Jim's 4.0" this evening, and make it flashable with cwm.

I believe the updated version should flash correctly using cwm as I simply sent the files through uot kitchen. And, yes, you can just install it manually, which is what I recommend. I have instructions to do so in the op.
Btw, are you trying to make this work for the 5.0, I am having trouble understanding what you are trying to do? (sorry, my fault, not yours!)

Tapatalked !
Yes, because no time to change permission. Since framework-res.apk was Android framework file, so system will unstable and reboot. After phone enter boot animation (after big Sony splash screen), Android will look for it's framework file, but since it's permission was uncorrect, Android can't use it, so bootloop (infinity reboot) was the only thing you have.
Move the files to /system first. Change permissions and then move to /system/framework

Yes, since it's resolution match with Samsung Galaxy S2 / S, which the top notch Samsung phone before SIII came. Also, TouchWiz has more clear battery bar, than Xperia does (which small, and i see battery was almost down, but then i see in Settings battery was still 32% , sux )
And now my recent apps like windows phone task switcher but with low resolution images

[V20*] LG Optimus L9 Theme Kitchen v1.2 (Alpha) [Windows App]

}
It's Alpha release ! So except bugs !
Make CWM Backup before using this app !
I've tested it only on V20C and V20D P760 firmwares, but it should work on all V20* roms, on all L9 variants.
How app works ?
- app is getting LGSystemUI.apk file from your device and decompiling it,
- you are choosing mods to apply,
- app is compiling new LGSystemUI.apk and sending it to your device
If you are using apktool, and you have installed any framework files (from other rom / device) - this app can have problems.
To fix these problems, use "Install framework files" (from Options).
Requirements:
- V20* (Jelly Bean 4.1.2) firmware
- root
- .NET Framework (on PC) - click here to download ... On Windows 8 it's already installed
Download:
LG Optimus L9 Theme Kitchen v1.2 (Alpha)
MediaFire.com
[old versions]
Video (v1.0 Alpha):
To do:
- add more mods / themes
(you can help me - if you are good themer - you can decompile LGSystemUI.apk, edit some files and send here these files (decompiled). If I'll like your work - it will be included in next version of Kitchen)
- improve app / fix all bugs (if they are here)
- and more..
I have tested it only on Windows 7 64-bit - it should work on Vista, 7 and 8. I'm not supporting XP.
Changelog:
v1.2
- added Backup & Restore (in "Options")
- added Sense battery
v1.1
- added more clock options:
* Choose clock position: Right (default) or Center
* Option to hide clock,
* Now you can choose any clock color !
Center clock is experimental. It works, but if you will get notification, it will overlay with clock. I'll try to fix it as soon as possible.
v1.0a
- now app is logging something into ".files/logs" - it can help me fix some bugs
v1.0
*first release*

Bugs:
- Center clock will overlay with notifications.
Awesome !!
I wish i could edit system setting background to black and text to white color.
Will try and revert back.
Edit:
Tried it last night. Everything seemed to work it didn't show any errors.
but after reboot the SystemUI crashed.I think LG_systemui did not compile properly may be its something to do with signing or resources. I don't know.
But thankfully i had made a backup of my LG_systemUI.
if anyone else also face similar situation they can flash my backed up LG_systemUI by flashing restore.zip via cwm.
@mateo1111
Please have a look at the logs. I have attached the logs in a zip.
Its a awesome initiative, love the simplicity and ease of use of this theme kitchen

If anyone would like to help me let it throw a link to the package with the original framework for the recovery L9 games because the phone is running on the LG logo and do not want to reinstall rom because I lose a lot of data.

Just updated first post with new version (v1.0a) - it's now logging something into 4 files (in ".files\logs" directory).
If someone (who gets System.UI crashes) can attach these 4 files - I'll probably know, what is the problem
Will try to add Backup / Restore option asap. I'm very busy now ;/
HI, I wanna try it, but when I click on L9 theme kitchen.exe, it said is not a valid win32 application.

Have you installed .NET Framework ?
If you have - we can say, that this app is not compatible with Windows XP.
Mateo Theme Kitchen stoping at Decompiling LGSystemUI.apk and Compile LGSystemUI.apk logs send in Private Messages.
Bug - changing statusbar clock color makes systemui.apk error and closing it.

Are you using 100% stock LGSystemUI.apk (not edited/modded) ?
Because there's problem only with these files:
Code:

indi_noti_btn_normal.9.png
indi_noti_brightness_panel_bg.9.png

You can download CWM Backup of ROM that you are using here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2136204
Then open "system.ext4.tar.a" (with something like WinRar) and extract stock LGSystemUI.apk
decompile systemui
I keep trying to decompile LGSystemUI.apk but I keep getting error. Install proper framework etc. but I already have framework installed. help?

Before downloading this... I have 2 questions...
1 - Does it require the ROM to be deodexed to work properly?
2 - Are there alpha channel options for the status bar? (To make it transparent)
DISCONTINUED
I dont have a LG phone, anymore, and I will stop the support for this mod.
A clean notification bar.I made a themed LGSystemUI.apk for JB 4.1.2 stock odex rom, without brightness slider, qslide and quick setting. I also made only without qslide and another without qslide and brightness slider. I added a center clock mod without battery icon and a dialpad mod. Just delete from system/app your LGSystem.apk or LGContacts3.apk, and copy the new LGSystemUI.apk or LGContacts3.apk in your system/app and reboot. Always make a copy of your original LGSystemUI.apk. . It will work with all V20* stock roms. I added some versions with the network speed in status bar.
Please leave feedback.
Thanks to @Lgeob for his great post

The version with network speed is deodexed and the version you use its odex. That the only difference between the 2 files. I tried both files with stock odex V20H and V20L and its working fine.
Make a backup and try this: delete LGSystemUI.odex file from your system/app and LGSystemUI.apk, then copy the version with network speed and reboot your phone.
(use ES file explorer with root access).
Thanks. Works now . I forgot about odex file.

This is for stock rom. The versions with network speed it may work, it is deodexed. But, if you have a modded framework I think you will have problem with this mod.
You can leave me a link to your rom?
