Hello, I flashed my Sony xperia m4 with a customized .ftf file so it could remove simlock.ta. Now my xperia as useful as a door stopper; it doesn’t detect the sim card nor any cell tower, what can I do?
Thanks!

Flash a regular ftf and you should be good. Your M4 is no where near a brick.

1. Try another sim card.
2. What have you flashed by wotan and flashtools?
3. What were you on before?
4. Can you get to setings, about phone? If so please post the last 4 settings in that.

I have tried a few methods, relocked bootloader then used SUS to repair but problem still there. I used flashtool to compile ftf from SUS download folder, with the same outcome. recently I have found jellybean release from o2uk (as I'm from England) but baseband imei and imei sv are all unknown and it won't read SIM. I have tried ics firmware with same result, even have a few old cwm backups from months ago when phone had no problems but they don't make any change. I'm starting to think a bad flash may have damaged the TA

I think before you reccomend that method we have to know what model is he using and where did he get it from? as sometime different country has different LTE frequencies, also without knowing which model is he using (I mean D6503 and D6502) it might cause brick his device?
Just waiting for OP's reply

Thx for provide me infos. I think you can simply flash ftf using flashtool. and newest firmware is .438. Just note that sometime LTE frequencies may not match to your carrier specify model and can't connect to your LTE network. I hope you know how to use flashtool if not don't worry there is many theread about flashtool on Z2 forum. And next time you have to backup all your data and rom before you try to root it. Good luck.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2759934 download ftf from here! and flashtool guide is there also.

Hi there!
I have a serious problem with my D6503 that makes me feel very bad. I think i have a brick.
Symptoms: sim card not detected, main camera doesn't work .
Service menu shows many strange things such as:Rooting status unknown, HW Config rev unknown
I think Simlock.ta file has been flashed because i've unchecked it in flashtool's excludes.
Flashing stock roms using any version of flashtool doesn't help. I saw here on xda a couple of posts with similar problem but no solution for it.
Thanks!
Hey man I'm having the same problem in the Z3 Compact , you 've solved your problem?
