Hello Group,
I just bought my LG V10 yesterday and for some reason my computer will not recognize the LG V10 when it is hooked up to my system when connected to its USB cable.
When I first connected the cell to my system it saw it and then installed the windows drivers for it (windows 7) and when I tried other USB ports the system always installed drivers for that USB port.
But when I go into Windows Explorer or My Computer the cell is nowhere to be found, of course I have tried rebooting, uninstalling drivers, rebooting cell and nothing I do works, has anyone come across this?? help please!! Jake
Try running LGBridge. Includes some drivers and such.
Also make sure it is set to MTP
Thanks for the replies. @qwas7899 - That program only works if the cell is connected to the computer
@Atratus - I tried finding that and I cant...it seems that there are a lot of people with both of my issues. Its a big pain in the ###

Hi qwas7899, Could you explain a little more, I dont understand. Thanks, Jake
Not sure it will work. Press volume button up at the same time you connect usb to phone. This will put you in download mode. Also restart your phone. Good luck

Go to setting --> Wireless and network --> USB setting and select the last option "Ask on connection"
Reconnect the USB again.
Good luck
Something similar happened to me and I installed the computer side (exe) for pdanet from Junefabrics.com and that solved it for me. Restart your computer after you install. Actually restart your computer after you install the other drivers you've been trying first. Something tells me that I figured out that if I had just restarted before it would have worked without installing pdanet. Good luck.

I juss got my Verizon Note 2, and was about to move some music and videos on it from my PC, but I ran into a strange issue. At first, when I plugged in my phone to my computer (Windows 8), Windows recognized the device, but no matter what mode I put it in, it never showed up in Windows Explorer. So, I tried downloading the Galaxy Note 2 Toolkit from XDA, but was unable to install it because it has yet to add support for the Verizon Note 2. So, I tried installing Kies, which installed my phone's driver, but won't actually recognize the device. When I look in Windows' device manager, I found the device was found under the name "SAMSUNG_Android", and had a yellow caution symbol next to it, and had the following text in the device status box:
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
{Operation Failed}
The requested operation was unsuccessful.

Any ideas on what to do?
P.S. I do have a 32GB microSD in the phone, in addition to the internal 16GB, but I have tried accessing the phone with and without the card installed.

Try going into settings, about phone, tap build number 7 times, you are now a developer, back out to the main settings, go into developer options, enable usb debugging. Did that work?

It was already enabled for some reason. Huh. Well, it's still not working.
I couldn't access my phone on my computer either it ended up being that I had to use the stock cable that came with the phone instead of the ones I bought off ebay
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
I'm having the same problem and neither the stock cable nor the cables from my GNex work. I have downloaded the Kies, deleted, re installed it numerous times with no luck. Also an aside, do the phones all come with a white cable and plug even when the phone is Gray?
Nevermind.
Make sure when you guys plug it into your pc that when you slide the notification bar down and it says conncected as installer you have to click that and check the box beside MTP. That solved my issue.

Has anyone successfully gotten Kies to work? I'm on a MacBook Pro with no luck so far. Switched over to Windows and still no dice. So has Verizon just completely blocked us from using Kies???
I was having the same problem. I used the Toolkit option to install the Samsung drivers and restarted my computer, and it worked.

Even if you have the correct drivers installed, some bad drivers might be picking the device up, overriding the good drivers. If you open up device manager, what shows up when you plug in the phone?

Snappea is an app for both windows and your android via which you can connect to your pc
1. First download and install Snappea (Google it "SnapPea" since i cannot post outside links)
2. When installed, it will ask some basic info and after connecting your phone, it will automatically download its android version
3. I guess thats all.... Youll understand its use via the tutorial (pretty much easy)
4. ENJOY!....enjoy transferring your files via pc and android........

What makes a sound when you connect it to the PC? Does the PC itself make a sound? And you did as I suggested and had Device Manager open when you plugged it in - did it refresh at all?

Strange! Do other devices work when plugged in?
the device makes a sound means it connected to USB only. it can be computer or charger.
did you try uninstalling usb drivers in device manager.
right click and update driver
then select have a disk..
show path ..Program Files\SAMSUNG\USB Drivers..
i can't remember the rest of the part.
then it will recognize
hope this help..

Oh then Idk i've never looked into it.
I'm having the same problem with my i777 model.
I uninstalled and re-installed the drivers, I updated the drivers, I tried debugging mode and I've tried "Mass Storage" mode.
Mass Storage mode was the only one that seemed to work for me, when I tried debug mode it would constantly connect and disconnect.
When I try without being in any of those modes, my phone will connect. My computer will recognize and then randomly my phone or computer wont be able to see each other anymore. Like my phone will disconnect from MTP-initialization (but still charge like it's plugged in)...I'm really interested in rooting my phone, but I don't want to since I can't connect my phone correctly. I don't want a $200+ phone becoming a brick and I can't replace it very cheap (anytime soon at least).
Here's phone info if it helps any..?
Model Number: SAMSUNG-SGH-i777
Android Version: 2.3.6
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7
Build Number: GINGERBREAD.UCKK6

Hmmm...I just tried something. My phone says it's not in MTP, but my PC can read it and open it up.
All I did was turn off my phone, then I plugged it in, then turned it back on and it's doing good so far...might give it a shot, I dunno how well it's really working or nothing though.
|-----EDIT------|
Now it's in MTP Application and synchronizing, I'm just trying to back up my phone with Keis so if I do decide to Root, I can back everything back up.

Hard to tell. Check the device manager. You may need to manually select the driver that the device uses. Also, try another computer.

I am not sure, but have you tried connecting directly to the pc at backside usb? the usb on motherboard? well the symptoms are exactly same when you put on front usb port on pc.
I hope you are using original cable. Sometimes bad and lengthy cables do loss signals and this happens. Voltage passes but not the data making it undetectable. feedback.

Hello everyone,
I read many useful information’s about this watch here on forum, however didn’t find solution for my case. I got a Xiaomi Amazfit. The watch is not charging or turning on. It is possible to connect it via USB cable to a Windows machine, the device stays as "unrecognized". My theory is that the ROM is hardly broken.
Here is my question: Is there a method to flash the watch via flashtool (or similar). All tutorials require the watch to be able to go to fastboot, and this can’t be done in this case. I can’t connect this as adb device also. I have done several times a flash procedure on phones that could not be turned on. Hope You can help me
Best regards Daniel

For the no charging part, make sure you clean the metal pins and the small hole slot on the back. Sometimes there is some build inside the small hole slot that prevents the pins touching the charger.

Hey. I read all the informations on the sugested topic. I got all images for flashing. I think there od an issue with USB conection. My watch showes up after conecting to USB. Therefore the information od "unrecognized" and "not working corectly". I tried to update drivers, and it refuses to do that - the driver is already uptodate.
Im runing windows on mode that allows instalation of unsigned drivers....

As I had had the same problem, I'll share my mysterious experiences. After I used pace for 1 month it become dead but while keep pushing power button, the white flash appear and then off. I changed the wall adaptor and then the watch revived.
For several days ago the watch gone dead and no white flash on when pushed power on 2 secs. anymore. I tried to change adaptor but nothing happen. I tried to clean the contact of both watch and ring, but it still dead.
Finally I switched the power cord from samsung mobile wire to Blackberry cord, it resurrected.
So I suggest you all to try changing the charging system may solve this problem.
