Google Play Services problem after Marshmallow upgrade - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I received the Marshmallow upgrade on the 22nd but once that was done my Google Play Services have been rendered non-functional. I followed instructions I got on one of these forums and deleted the cache but nothing came out of it.
The error message I am getting now is -
"Can't update app
Update for "Google Play services" could not be downloaded due to an error. (Error while retrieving information from server. [RPC:S-7:AEC-7 6LWD-WASG-CABNE])
How do I set this right ?

HTC One M8 - Android 6.0 - (Google Play: Error while retriving information from serve

Ever since I updated my rooted One M8 to Android 6.0 I have been getting this error every single time I update an app or download a new app in the Google Play Store. The Error is : Update for *App Name* could not be downloaded due to an error. (Error while retriving information from server [RPC:S-7:AEC-7 KXE5-PEUR-TPPZY}.
I followed some information online and deleted the cache from the Play Store and removed my google account from my phone. While this did work it did not stop the error from coming back. I have to literally remove my Google account from my phone daily, sometimes twice just to keep this error from happening. Its becoming extremely irritating and I don't know what I should do about it. I'm currently running an untouched 6.0 backup for my device and other then the play store issues the device works just fine. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Can't use Play Store or add Google Account?

Hi, my car has an Android infotainment system running 2.3.7 (yes, can't update that). It's rooted and I used to use an app called Market Helper to change the device identifier to access the Google Play Store. I don't know what I did, but in the recent weeks I can't access the Play Store anymore. I tried changing it back to default in Market Helper and it gives me a 'No Android ID found' error.
Trying to access Play Store will throw up an error saying 'Server Error' will pop up. I've tried clearing the Play Store cache, clearing the Google Framework cache, removing the Google Account and re-adding it, but to no avail.
As a last-ditch attempt, I removed the Play Store and the Google Framework and reinstalled them by gaining root access. Now the Google Account is removed. I tried re-adding my account but it says during the account login process that it 'Can't establish a reliable connection to the server'. I searched around and found that a common solution was to edit the etc/hosts file but that wasn't the problem. Any ideas?
Anyone? Bumping this thread.

MXQPRO Google Play Store giving an error after forced upgrade

I have an MXQPRO was working fine util recently, When I try to open the play store I get this error message: "This version of the app isn't compatible with your device. To fix this problem, go to settings and uninstall updates for the Google play Store app." . The device is running Android 5.1.1. the option to uninstall the update is not available in the Apps Settings. I did a complete reset of the device and I am able to use the play store right after but after closing the play store the next time I will get the message (since the play Store will have had time to update it self.) Th version after the update of play store is 7.5.08.M.xhdpi ... I have tried downgrading the play store to another version via an apk file ... but it fails. I also have tried stopping the upgrade by following the instructions of adding a folder : "com.android.vending-1.apk" to /data/app ... but this did not work the update occurred anyway.... any idea on how I can gain access again to play store ? Thank You

Google Play Store is unable to search for updates

I have a THL T9 Plus with Android 6.0. Google Play Store version is 8.5.39.W-all [PR] and Google Play Services is version 11.9.51. I try to install updates on phone, but I get error message, I can't see even new version of installed applications in the list. I tried to force stop those processes, wipe caches, restart phone and I already updated Google Play Store client version, but none of these helped, I got same error message.

Cannot install Snapchat from Google Play (detailed question).

I own an LG G6, updated to the latest firmware provided by LG (Oreo). Not rooted. Google Play continues to tell me "Can't install Snapchat" in a dialog box every time I try to install it. I have also tried installing via an APK, but that results in package manager just stating "App not installed." In either case, no error codes are shown.
I have tried to clear cache and data from package manager/installer, Google play, and Google play services.
All 3 solutions don't work. I don't want to reset my entire device for one app, and hence as a last-ditch effort am posting here.
Any solutions?
