I tried flashing TWRP into my j100mu, which is not supported...
Now, the phone won't pass the boot up screen. It's not a boot loop, or at least I doubt it, since it's not rebooting, it just stays stuck at the boot screen. I tried opening recovery to do a hard reset, but it won't recognize the input and just show the boot up screen. By that I mean that when I press Up+Power+home, the phone just boots up like normal and stays at the boot up screen, though Down+Power+Home works fine, but the moment i release any of the button, it goes back to the boot up screen.
So is this fixable or do I have a brick in my hands?

Today my phone was bring finnicky and locking up, so I restarted it. Lo and behold the thing won't even boot. I don't even get a boot animation. I get a flash of LG for half a second and then blackness. Couldn't boot into recovery, so instead I booted into download mode and LGNPST back to JB stock. Now it won't boot past the AT&T logo. I see LG, AT&T, hear the little jingle, and then the screen stays the same. When I power the phone off it auto powers itself back up and tries to boot again. Endless cycle.
Anyone have any idea what's going on or how to fix it? I'm lost at this point and fear that I may have inadvertently bricked my phone. Really can't afford a new one...
You could try factory reset from stock recovery. The button combo is volume down plus power. There will be a menu screen if you get it to work.
Went in to AT&T support and that's what the guy did. It worked. Thanks, wish I had seen this post before making that drive.
I urgently need help as my lg optimus l9 p769 will not boot past lg screen (it is not a boot loop it just stays frozen for about 4 seconds then it shuts off, then if I put my charger in, it boots to the lg logo and permanently freezes there)
this first started when I changed my cm 10.1 theme, I left my phone but when I came back it was off. the only way for me to turn it off was to take the battery out. When I took the battery out and put it back in, it would automatically boot itself up. Eventually I decided I better change my recovery from the physical keys to the touch screen one. I flashed a touch screen clockwork recovery through adb from my command prompt after I did that I decided to boot into the recovery so in the command prompt I typed up the command to boot into the recovery when I did that nothing happened and I was still in fastboot mode. So I decided to shut the phone off, after that that's when it started to not boot past lg logo screen and freeze on logo screen after I put in the charger.
I cant get into download mode
my recovery does not work
my power button might be broken( I cant tell as it suddenly stopped working for no reason after I applied a new theme)
(I will open up my phone if I need too, if I do how would I disable the power button, or fix it)
I bought this phone a year ago, phone was working fine all the time, but suddenly in got stuck in boot loop, my phone is stock, boot loaded unlocked & S-ON, i can boot into boot loader as well as recovery, i tried to factory reset, during factory reset it wiped everything but in the end it mentioned some "problem loading emmc" errors, now after reset my phone boots flashes a blue screen and then gets into black screen of death.
I was using Lolipop 5.0.1, i never updated was always afraid to brick my my phone here my worst fear came true. :crying:
My Yota3 (128gb) stuck on boot logo after i did normal reboot.
I never did any rooting, flashing etc. On this phone and was using it just by installing google apk's.
I restarted my phone normally and it got stuck on boot logo and now it is not getting fully switch on.
im able to get into fastboot and recovery but in recovery mode only one Chinese word appears with android bot lying down.
Can any one help me how to go beyond that start YOTA logo?
Is there anything i can do with Fastboot to clear catch or dalvink catch, i think by clearing that phone will be able to boot fully.
If there is way to boot fully by some how Factory resetting the phone the how to do that and before doing reset can i take backup of media of internal storage?
For a good long while, I've been using SlimRom on my Nexus 9. Everything has been fine, I haven't been messing with anything on the device, just using it as normal. Just a short while ago, I powered it on, and it is now stuck in a boot loop. "Google" appears on the screen, then it goes black, and "Google" appears again.
If I do a volume down-power hold, I get to the HBOOT screen. Recovery option takes me to the TeamWin screen for a few seconds, then I'm right back at Google boot loop. Factory Reset option takes me to the teamwin screen briefly, then the boot loop again.
Any advice on a possible fix?
