I have TWRP JB 4.3 backup. Currently running Lollipop 5.1. Should I have to use Huawei official method to downgrade? The official method looks tedious. Thank you for your any help.
If you followed the steps you should have a backup of your 4.3. Restore it with the old recovery.

Hey i wanted to know if i could downgrade from a KK 4.4.2 Rom to a JB 4.2.3 or 4.2.2 Rom, just by flashing the JB Rom. Is my device going to brick or is it safe?

i tried flashing CM 10.1 when i was in CM 11, and it didn't work. So instead, i went back to my NANDroid backup, and restored.
Since my backup was the Avatar 4.2.2 Rom, i just flashed the CM 10.1 and it worked.
Is there anything that I need to worry about or any extra steps to go from 4.4.4 Liquid Smooth to say the new alliance ROM or to a nandroid backup of SR remix 4.4.2?

I've rooted it and using TWRP 2.7.2.0 recovery.
Also, I've uninstalled many system apps and also using ext4 partition with Link2sd app and Xposed app.
Now could anybody please tell me what's the procedure to upgrade it to official stock lollipop 5.1 ROM?

I'm in the same boat. Indian Moto E 4.4.4 rooted with TWRP 2.7.1.0. I haven't removed system apps or installed xposed.
I've been unable to upgrade yet, because I haven't found any instructions that I can be sure apply to my case. From what I gather, I think we're supposed to flash stock rom. I don't know if we have to relock the bootloader though (or flash the stock bootloader?). Still confused

My phone currently has cm11 but it was stunning stock 4.3.x before that. I'm just wondering if I can download the ROM (including bootloader) via flashing the ROM (from Sammobile) via odin.

4.1 and 4.3 have different efs folder versions so by downgrading you will most probably lose your imei.
workaround is if you have efs v1 backup.
If not you can flash the 4.1 firmware then flash a 4.3 modem

I'm looking for a guide for how to upgrade from a rooted 5.0 based rom to 5.1.1 rom and still have root. I know I need to update the modem and bootloader but I am not sure of the steps.
