[Cyanogenmod] for [2015 MOTO e] - E 2015 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'd like to hear from other moto e enthused if any have successfully flashed the latest Cyanogenmod. I'll hear your thoughts on the subject as well.
Personally I'm still installing Android Studio and SDK on my PC. Wow so many updates. The updates need updating!!!
For those interested here is a [LINK] to the Cyanogenmod download site.

Unofficial CM13 for Moto E 2nd Gen has been in development from some time now, it's only that the repos have been officially acquired by CM recently. Head over to Official CM13 Otus forum and Official CM13 Surnia forum if you want to discuss with other users

Currently running CM 13 for Surnia. Works great, runs smoothly. Awesome UI customization.

kanger [kahng-ger] noun : A person with enough skill to compile CyanogenMod from source, but generally does not have enough coding experience to provide fixes or support.
Hey guys, @fitsnugly was kind enough to start building cm9 skankwich builds for the i777. Latest builds can be found HERE
http://fitsnugly.euroskank.com/skankwich/?id=i777
These do not come with gapps so you'll need to download them
Google Addon:

please note this thread will be for discussion of said nightly builds. For development stuff would likely be a good idea to just post in the cm9 dev thread in the i777 development forum.
I'm your huckleberry.....I'll try it.

FYI guys, nightly from 4-5 is running great. No SOD and working video recording are confirmed. May be placebo but scrolling also seems improved.

Work is ended! But need to compile again properly!
Its CyanogenMod 9 for Galaxy 5 device!
I will be uploading on a new thread soon!
Hope you guys test it and also I hope it works properly.
Soon a stable version of Cyanogenmod 9 can be expected along with a Cyanogenmod 10.2 and Cyanogenmod 11 builds.
I have no time to work. But I will try my best.
I wonder why this build occupies only 39.5MB space. That worries me a lot. I began to question myself whether I have done it right!
Support my work!
FYI: We already have a source built CM9.
And also cm10, cm10.1, cm10.2, cm11. All are stable enough for daily use.

It is an open source project and could be the definitive boot manager for our Devices!
Till now, It works just on Qualcomm devices, so Oneplus devices are perfect!
See the following video:
See here guys:
- EFIDroid on Github;
- EFIDroid Build instructions;
- EFIDroid porting guide;
- EFIDroid Wiki;
Ahm join the EFIDroid community!
- EFIDroid Google Plus community;
Hope to see some Devs join this project.
I'm not a Dev, but I think could be great to have it on OPT.
You can talk about EFIDroid also on Oneplus Forum.
Sounds very interesting, hope someone start working on it

This could potentially allow dual booting Android and Win10 if Microsoft releases it for OPT.

Yep, because it works before loading ROMs.
So, it is possible to boot everything!

Need device id changer for nougat.

I'm running Nougat 7.0 on Moto G4 Plus.
It's been rooted and Xposed Installed.
I've tried various apps for changing device id's but nothing seem to work , it crashes whenever opened.
But the same app is running well in my other phone Samsung on Jelly Bean.
I need to change every hardware id like mac, imei, etc.
The app I used in other phone is : Device Id IMEI Changer Xposed
I couldn't post a link

Download section of Xposed Installer app. Search there and you'll find several more tools that may work.

wait i try to make one
bumping old thread.
I'm trying to find a solution for my LG v30, it hangs on LG logo after changing device ID. any solution would be appreciated!
@larciel
IMHO changing Androids Device ID only makes sense on Android emulators.
Wondering why you did it?

Is it possible to theme?

Hey, first of all I tried asking in the general questions thread, but I simply got no reply..so I'm asking here.
I'm running on xiaomi redmi note 9 pro using AOSP custom rom of Android 11, I'm coming from android nougat and would really love to get the quick settings look and feel of the nougat as I find it much better.
Here is what I refer to:

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Can someone tell me if it's possible to modify my current quick settings to look and behave like that? If so, could you please tell me what I need to learn/read in order to do that?
Thanks!
Hi, it would take a thema nougat in the norm the Roms remain as they are to see it looks like Nexus 5 (D821) which is AOSP also Moto g5 s is nougat, good luck

Thanks for the comment, but could you elaborate slightly more as I couldn't really understand what I'd need to do to achieve that?
I have a bit of android dev experience if that would help, but nothing related to themes.
