(Help) Asus ZenFone 5 bricked, stucks at Asus logo! - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone, i ask for your help cause i have a common problem but the fixes i found in the forum didn't work for me: my ZenFone 5 stucks at "Asus" logo with a "loading loop" wheel below that.
I know this post may be long but i beg you to read all steps:
1) Phone stucks at logo, but could enter recovery (pressing vol + down), i've updated it via external SD card (official firmware but didn't work) then i've wiped data and did a factory reset. Phone still stucks at logo.
2) Now i can't even enter recovery mode... when pressing vol + down it shows 2 options but whatever i choose the phone reboots. If i press vol + up it says "CSC mode, long press power to restart. Phone still stucks.
3) Now (after some time) the phone's screen doesn't show anything, nor charging icon or notification led when recharging, but strangely the computer recognizes it as a device when connected via USB cable, and the led turns on when i do this.
A friend told me to follow a guide that says to install "Intel Soc USB driver", i did that. After installing, when connecting the device, 2 things should pop up in Device Mangager under "Intel Soc": CloverviewPlus Device and Intel Soc USB Driver... but the second one doesn't show to me
I've also tried Asus flashtool guide... at step 4 it says to click in the box icon and choose the firmware RAW file, so i've downloaded a raw firmware for the ZenFone 5, but oddly it doesn't let me choose any raw file.
Note: the phone is recognized by the pc as "QHSUSB_BULK", so i've tried to update its driver with qualcomm drivers, and now it's recognized as "Qualcom MMC Usb storage device". But i think i've did a wrong thing cause my friend told me i should have choosed some kind of official driver
Thanks in advance for your help

[Q] LG Optimus L9 P760 dead?

Hi,
I have installed inappropriate version of CWM on my L9. Now it won't boot at all. When I press and hold power button to start the device, it stucks in a loop like this:
1. Short vibration.
2. LG logo screen appears for a second.
3. Black screen for another 3 seconds.
1. Vibration occurs again...
2. LG logo... etc
Situation above describes a behavior of the phone, which is disconnected from any wires.
Now when I plug shutted down device into USB port to Windows 7 PC, following mess happens:
1.Computer beeps like, USB device is connected.
2.Phone vibrates shortly.
3.Phone shows LG logo for a sec.
4.Phone shows black screen for 3 seconds.
5.Computer beeps like USB is disconnected.
... and again, and again.
Adb nor fastboot doesn't recognize any device (it did, before I have installed that wrong version of CWM, so USB drivers are OK I guess).
I tried hard reset, LG update tools, LGMobile support tool and of course I spent a whole day by searching this forum for any solution. I found similiar cases to mine (continuous beeps like Windows is detecting plugging and unplugging USB device), but this seems to be quite different because of continuous restarting of the phone, so the PC doesn't have a time to initiate USB device.
I would be really greatful for any help. Thanks
Edit: Problem SOLVED!
I solved it by following:
1. Download omap4boot from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1971014
2. Install driver for continuously plugging/unplugging phone in windows device manager (use omap4boot-for_optimus-v1.21\usb_drv_windows folder for search driver). Install it while the device is connected to PC.
3. Run command line and navigate to the omap4boot-for_optimus-v1.21 folder and run start_fastboot.bat.
4. Disconnect phone from PC.
5. Select 3. item Prada (works for L9 P760).
6. When prompted, connect turned off phone to the PC.
7. When promted to fastboot devices, choose Yes. Device should be found now. At this point you have approximately 3 minutes (device should stop restarting itself for a while) to do the rest.
8. Run another command line (do not close current one), navigate to android platform-tools and run fastboot flash recovery command with appropriate CWM img file. File can be downloaded here http://mobotalks.com/android/how-to-unlock-the-bootloader-and-install-cwm-recovery-on-lg-optimus-l9-ultimate-guide/
Done.

no recovery

After month of search and trial I had to start this thread.
Device Samsung Tab 4 (mother board ET-86V2G-A23-V1.2, A23 processor, china junk)
Problem: I tried to restart the device into recovery mode out of Clockwork. It never reached recovery just shows the logo SAMSUNg Galaxy ab 7 and that where it ended.
Restart into recovery with power and volume button does not work. I tried all combinations 10 times. The device does not have a hard home button.
Conneting to the PC via USB does not work. First is was not set for USB debaging and the PC does not even react when connected (therefore even drivers are useless).
All the advise I get is start in recovery or connect to adb but none of it works as explained above.
Does anyone has an suggestion how to reach into the bowels of the device without revoery and adb (USB connetcion)?
Thanks

POV Mobii 7 PROtab2 stuck on boot screen

Hi,
I've got a Point of View POV Mobii 7 Bussinessline PROtab2 ( TAB-7C-4GW-1 ) which is stuck on the bootscreen.
- it does not power off when I press "power" for >10s
- the reset switch on the back powers it off
- pressing "home" while powering on results in an update screen after ~5s (little green android with box and arrow next to it) which changes to recovery ~1s later (android with exclamation mark) where recovery menu can be entered/hidden by pressing "home"
- wipe cache or factory reset in recovery didn't help
- "reboot system now" in recovery actually powers device off
I've downloaded the latest firmware from http://81.21.136.56/downloads/Tablets/ 7 Inch Tablets/TAB-7C-4GW-1 Firmware Upgrade/ which I was able to flash few years ago...
I've installed Telechips VTC driver which is part of the download.
Connecting the device via USB results in four "Telechip s, Inc.M801_88 USB Device" beeing recognized by windows as mass storage (empty drives) and an unknown device "M801_88" where no driver can be found.
It is the same in recovery mode and after regular boot. A usb reconnect is done when the device switches from update to recovery mode, but device constellation keeps the same.
Telechips Update-Tool "FWDN V7" (also part of the download) does not see a device (it should show a popup when a device connects, I guess)...
I've tried manually assigning the VTC driver to the unknown device, but that doesn't work. The driver supplied is just an installer... I found inf-files on the system after installing it, but assigning them says that they aren't drivers. Also listing all systems drivers doesn't who a driver from Telechip to select...
I've tried it on Windows 10 and in a Windows XP VM with identical results...
Any ideas what to do?
Edit: I managed to assign a generic ADB driver to the unknown device. It lists as "0123456789ABCDEF device" and limited shell is available (recovery?)
The device is okay again. I really hate it when things aren't reproducible, but after performing a factory reset in the recovery once again, it booted just fine...

[E2303] Soft Brick Help Needed

Hi
I just found my old phone in my drawer and it seems to be soft bricked. It's running stock android with no usb debugging, non rooted. 100% stock. When I hold the power button it shows the sony logo but it stays there forever. I can access fastboot mode, however its not very useful as I can't flash (no unlocked bootloader + no usb debugging).
I can boot into flash mode by holding volume down. It shows a green LED but on windows 10 it shows "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)"
I already tried the changing the power options on my PC, it didn't help.
I have installed the USB drivers from flash tool (All of them)
Any suggestions on how to unbrick it?
Thanks
Hi. Have you already tried to use Xperia Companion? Usually their instructions on "Repair Device" mode are more than enough to unbrick your phone!

Cant boot into fastboot or flashmode, device not recognized

Hi,
My M4 won't recognized in MTP mode.nothing happens when i connect the cable, just charging mode(Not asking to choose between charging mode and MTP)
today I wanted to flash a new firmware (E2333,UB,usb debugging on). But I cant come to Fastboot/Flashmode . In Windows a message comes, which says that the device get not fully detected. On the device manager I get "device not recognized" and the hardware id is USB\CONFIG_DESCRIPTOR_FAILURE or USB\DEVICE_DESCRIPTOR_FAILURE. I also followed the guide the, but without luck: http://troubleshooter.xyz/wiki/fix-u...equest-failed/. And drivers are for sure installed (also installed at least Xperia Companion)
I'm sure of drivers bcuz other phones do ok with drivers and get into flash mode without problem.
also tried different cables and computers.
Even replaced whole micro usb socket with a new one but nothing changed!
I did:
... power off -> hold volume down + plug usb -> "device not recognized" and red led and sony logo then gets into charging screen
... power off -> hold volume up + plug usb -> device not recognized" and red led and sony logo then gets into charging screen
... power off -> hold volume up (and also a try with vol up+down) + power till the 3 times vibration comes. but after that it also not boot into flashboot/fastboot.
... wiped the data/internal partitions from recovery -> same like before
Finally wiped system partition and installed PexoRom system.img from TWRP's Terminal, after boot nothing changed!!!:crying:
Any idea what is wrong with my M4 ?
It's very often when one of two ram is not working.
I mean it's a hardware problem. Are you able to check in settings how much ram shows ?
If something like 883mb,if Im right then you have to buy new motherboard.
