Hi,
I have installed inappropriate version of CWM on my L9. Now it won't boot at all. When I press and hold power button to start the device, it stucks in a loop like this:
1. Short vibration.
2. LG logo screen appears for a second.
3. Black screen for another 3 seconds.
1. Vibration occurs again...
2. LG logo... etc
Situation above describes a behavior of the phone, which is disconnected from any wires.
Now when I plug shutted down device into USB port to Windows 7 PC, following mess happens:
1.Computer beeps like, USB device is connected.
2.Phone vibrates shortly.
3.Phone shows LG logo for a sec.
4.Phone shows black screen for 3 seconds.
5.Computer beeps like USB is disconnected.
... and again, and again.
Adb nor fastboot doesn't recognize any device (it did, before I have installed that wrong version of CWM, so USB drivers are OK I guess).
I tried hard reset, LG update tools, LGMobile support tool and of course I spent a whole day by searching this forum for any solution. I found similiar cases to mine (continuous beeps like Windows is detecting plugging and unplugging USB device), but this seems to be quite different because of continuous restarting of the phone, so the PC doesn't have a time to initiate USB device.
I would be really greatful for any help. Thanks
Edit: Problem SOLVED!
I solved it by following:
1. Download omap4boot from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1971014
2. Install driver for continuously plugging/unplugging phone in windows device manager (use omap4boot-for_optimus-v1.21\usb_drv_windows folder for search driver). Install it while the device is connected to PC.
3. Run command line and navigate to the omap4boot-for_optimus-v1.21 folder and run start_fastboot.bat.
4. Disconnect phone from PC.
5. Select 3. item Prada (works for L9 P760).
6. When prompted, connect turned off phone to the PC.
7. When promted to fastboot devices, choose Yes. Device should be found now. At this point you have approximately 3 minutes (device should stop restarting itself for a while) to do the rest.
8. Run another command line (do not close current one), navigate to android platform-tools and run fastboot flash recovery command with appropriate CWM img file. File can be downloaded here http://mobotalks.com/android/how-to-unlock-the-bootloader-and-install-cwm-recovery-on-lg-optimus-l9-ultimate-guide/
Done.

Hi everyone my wife has an LG L5 II (e451g), today it run out battery and charged normal with phone off when she power on it has a boot loop (it stuck at LG logo) so I took LGFlashTool2014 and follow the usual procedure, turn off phone press vol + and vol - while plugin USB and enter download mode, until here everything is fine I downloaded the KDZ corresponding (V10B_00.kdz) and tried to flash everything is fine until the flash proccess reach 99% and the LGFlashTool2014 stop with some kind of error saying that Windows has to stop it, the phone restarts and is in boot loop again. I Have drivers installed (LGMobileDriver_WHQL_Ver_4.0.3) and re download the KDZ just in case, this happend in two differents machines one with Windows 10 x86 and the other with Windows 7 x86 SP2. Any Ideas?
Sorry for my English.

I had the same problem with my L4 II I had to open LG flash tool like 7 times
Program may crash
It can stop on process
Window can freeze
It can disconnect
Just keep trying it
I read some tutorials and they give some tips:
Here is what i did:
I used windows 7 x64
First thing is to run flash tools as admin
Second is to place your .kdz on the same folder where you have LG flash tool
Third one is to close all your programs and leave only the Flash tool open
Pick your .kdz file and select cdma and diag
Now turn vol + and vol - and connect USB (Screen turns on with logo and says ( ->Download Mode )
Now click on Normal flash, i think CSE erases all your data
Now Read Phone Information window appears just click START
I leave republic of korea and korean on the Country & Lenguaje window; it goes to english automatically
Click OK and LG mobile Support Tool gonna start
leave it there and the second or third step is going to stop and it will say something like reconnect your device
Ignore that and the bar will continue just let the magic happen
It gonna go to the fourth step and your phone is going to reboot and show lockscreen
Then you can close the tools and unplug your usb.
If bar stops and doesn't seem to have any activity then close window and repeat
Remember that with this method you can loose your root access
Hope it works for you friend, and sorry for my english too.
Hi everyone, i ask for your help cause i have a common problem but the fixes i found in the forum didn't work for me: my ZenFone 5 stucks at "Asus" logo with a "loading loop" wheel below that.
I know this post may be long but i beg you to read all steps:
1) Phone stucks at logo, but could enter recovery (pressing vol + down), i've updated it via external SD card (official firmware but didn't work) then i've wiped data and did a factory reset. Phone still stucks at logo.
2) Now i can't even enter recovery mode... when pressing vol + down it shows 2 options but whatever i choose the phone reboots. If i press vol + up it says "CSC mode, long press power to restart. Phone still stucks.
3) Now (after some time) the phone's screen doesn't show anything, nor charging icon or notification led when recharging, but strangely the computer recognizes it as a device when connected via USB cable, and the led turns on when i do this.
A friend told me to follow a guide that says to install "Intel Soc USB driver", i did that. After installing, when connecting the device, 2 things should pop up in Device Mangager under "Intel Soc": CloverviewPlus Device and Intel Soc USB Driver... but the second one doesn't show to me
I've also tried Asus flashtool guide... at step 4 it says to click in the box icon and choose the firmware RAW file, so i've downloaded a raw firmware for the ZenFone 5, but oddly it doesn't let me choose any raw file.
Note: the phone is recognized by the pc as "QHSUSB_BULK", so i've tried to update its driver with qualcomm drivers, and now it's recognized as "Qualcom MMC Usb storage device". But i think i've did a wrong thing cause my friend told me i should have choosed some kind of official driver
Thanks in advance for your help

Alright, with this one second, have the "fastboot reboot-bootlaoder" command ready and then, when it sees it, immediately hit enter. Report results.

Dam, i cant add picture.
When i try use this command after installing adb i see in cmd waiting on any device and when i connect phone nothig happend, still waiting.
I will try on another computer. I have computer with windows 10, in cmd i have waiting for device after write "fasttboot reboot-bootloader" command but phone is seen like communication port (com 1). Anyway i have instaled drivers for this phone (for normally working, and they are not drivers for this phone on windows 10)
Before i have pick in SPflash tool:
Format--->auto format flash---->format whole flash
so i think bootloader is formated and he need recover or reinstal
On computer with windows 7 is this same but in device menager he see phone named "MTK USB Port" in cmd after use reboot bootloader command cmd all time waiting for device.
I have installed MediaTek PreLoader USB VCOM Port but device dont use this drivers, when i connect the device use MTK USB Port or is added like new port.
Yup, but i dont want firmware update but i need firmware repair cause i get phone with bugged firmware and factory default settings not help.

1. The phone was connected to Powerbank and after disconnected can't turn on to stock rom.
2. When I click on I see only LG logo and after 5 minutes logo my cellphone provider.
3. I can turn on Factory reset but after I choose factory reset after next reboot still is bootloop.
4. I thought that I can turn on Download mode I hold volume up, plug in the cable, and I see text "Download mode" and it tells me to keep holding. after 1 min. nothing going on. I have seen on internet photos that download mode should look diffrent than mine.
5. When I'm in "download mode" after 2-3 min. it turns on fastboot.
6. I have installed LG Driver but my computer recognizes my phone as an USB charge only interface - Lg Flash Tool and LG PC Suite didn't see phone
Any suggestions ?

You can try installing google's driver and finding your device in adb, also check in device manager if your pc can even detect your phone
Unfortunately on my phone debug mode is turned off. I installed google drivers but Adb can't see my device.
My computer detect on my phone :
Modems: LGE AndroidNet Usb modem
Ports: LGE AndroidNet Usb serial port
Devices : Lge Android MTP Device
------------
Update
Finally I gave the phone so lg service and after few days They said that burned internal memory. Subject to close.

hi. so my problem is that my phone does not turn on, i cant go to recovery or do hard reset. the phone react when i plug it in PC without battery, but its always connect and disconnect over and over again. i have downloaded the omap drivers and instaled it. now i have in the device manager a OMAP4430 FastBoot USB device. by the drivers was a fastboot emulator. but when i will flash rom, kernel or recovery a just get partition does not exist. can someone help me please? srry for english.
Does your phone not turn on at all when holding down the power button? If it boots up, and gets stuck on a loop or has an error message, that is different. But if it doesn't turn on at all, then your battery is dead or something is wrong with your phone's hardware. If you connect your phone to the PC (with the battery on), does it at least show a light? Or does it boot up at all when you hold the power button? If it doesn't show a light or boot up, it is not your battery, but your phone's hardware. Your phone might have been dropped or water inside it or it was microwaved? I know it sounds silly, but something happened to the phone physically. Now if you connect it to the PC and you see a light but it never boots, your device is bricked. Not accusing you, but you might have tried rooting it or writing over a partition on your phone which caused to brick. Also, try typing in fastboot devices. If it shows up a device, that means it is connected. Cheers!
No the phone does not turn on and it shows nothing, even when i put it on charger. If i connect to pc with battery after i installed the omap driver it just connect and disconnect over and over again, windows make this sound when you connect and disconnect something. I have flashed a new rom. It has worked but after some time its stoped. So i have try flashed it again but i could not get in recovery. A files was missing and after i try flashing thhe recovery its just dead. I can connect it just with the fastboot emulator because it's don't connect when i just put it on pc. I must connect it without battery wait 4 sec and then put the battery back. Than i can see in the emu my phone but not able flash anything because of partition does not exist
