Hi,
A couple of days ago, (stupidly) I decided that I wanted more internal memory space so I ended up deleting and reinstalling Google Play, as the Convert To User App option within Link2SD didn't work as it said something about can't finding Certificates; something like that.
Anyway so now when I go to install an application, it simply crashes and doesn't work. It loads fine; just doesn't download anything.
I've tried clearing Data & Cache for both the Google Play Application and the Download Manager Application.
Any ideas?
EDIT: Had to push it back onto the System Side. I'm sure I remember being able to install it onto my SD Card before?
I bought a new samsung s4 last month.I downloaded an uninstaller from play store.Maybe by mistake i uninstalled some system file to decrease internet data usage and my phone showed error messages.I quickly reinstalled somee uninstalled system apps using the backup files made by the backup data stored by the uninstaller program.but the error messages stated to increase.i removed my battery and when i opened the s 4 again it only kept on showing the opening message of "SAMSUNG" with some sound.what to do.plz help:crying::crying::crying:
I also did the system restore/factory reset option by using power+vol up key but it did't help.i cleared user data also. What to do now?
help me plz! I am in big trouble:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
can i reinstall new os manually????? :silly::crying:
I assume you are rooted and uninstalled system apps, if this is the case a factory reset won't help.
Boot to download mode and flash back to stock with Odin or hiemdall, you'll find all the files you need in the s4 forum or simple Google searches

I have a Huawei X1 (U810) which I recently rooted and after deleting all the bloatware and a really old version of facebook, I installed version 1.9 by apk, I uninstalled it yesterday trying to install the latest version from Google play, but now I get this problem...
Google Play Store starts installing it and the phone just restarts it self every time, and just for the facebook app, no problem with any other apps, I tied to install version 1.9 again by apk and same problem.
I've tried to push the apk using cmd and abd install command same thing happens, I formatted the cache and misc partitions and same problem, is there any file I need to delete, or what...
I don't feel like doing a factory reset, and if I did would that fix it?
OK, so this problem came up today in the middle of trying to find a working move to SD app. Basically, on the play store, it gives me a message for a few apps that there is "insufficient space available." (it will download it first, then give me the error trying to install) and I get the same message trying to remote install from a computer. If I try downloading from the Playstore as an APK file and side loading I get an error:
Out of Space
____ couldn't be installed. Free up some space and try again.
This doesn't happen to all apps. Just most apps which require a root. It's behaving strangely like a virus, so I am worried that Verizon had some additional programs on the device to make it more difficult to do anything with it.
Of course, I have 22.35 GB available internal and 109 GB available external. I cleared the cache, I uninstalled and reinstalled Google Play, I power cycled the device (turned off and on), and I am not really sure what I can do about it.
If I backup the DRM keys, flash a custom ROM, and then delete the Verizon apps, can I flash to a custom ROM that isn't branded by Verizon and still restore the DRM keys to it?
EDIT: It's gotten much worse. Most apps I try now won't install. They will download just fine, but then at the "Install" point they give that error.
EDIT 2: Problem resolved. It was caused by all of the failed rooting attempts. Titanium Backup/Restore and a Factory Reset with only Easy Root fixed everything.
i have an asus zenfone go lite zb500kg. it has low storage so i rooted it using kingroot and uninstalled bundled apps like chrome, gmail, google play music, pkay tv, etc and just disabled those that im not familiar with. i removed root access via the kingroot app and uninstalled kingroot as well after.
what will happen to thise bloatware that i uninstalled? will there be a problem if i do factory reset, if in any case i need to? will the bloatware i just removed be restored as well after factory reset, even if i have uninstalled them?
