I have problem with my x10 mini pro physical keyboard. It's simply does not work.
The problem started after flashing with CynaogenMOD 3.2 and then 3.2.1. Well it have been working for couple of days, but some day just stopped.
I did flash with se generic rom, and it didn't help at all.
I tried with IridiumRom with no help..
Get back Cynaogen again tried to mess with keyboad settings also without the result.
Keyboard works only when its half opened, also the screen orientation is changed then. So i guess i could be some hardware issue with the switcher which tells if keyboard is opened or closed. Anyway phone is new like 10 days. So i dont think that it would have any physical damage.
I also tried to install some DualTouch from forum before i noticed that its for X10 not mini
I'm about to get the phone on warranty but i wish to fix it by myself because i like to know what happend.
Did anyone has same problem?
I have got exactly the same problem as this post about my x10 mini pro's keyboard functionality. Anyone know what happens to it?
I have updated firmware by SEUS to v2.1 update 1. But nothing solved.
Hardware issue maybe? _ Not maybe... most likely.
There is keyboard setting. Try it.

Hmms, I downgraded it to v1.6 for checking. When fully slide out, my hardware keyboard is back to response again (can input by any key). But backlight still turn off in the dark and home screen does not rotate to lanscape. It does only when keyboard is partially slide out.
Maybe as ruifung reply is correct, hardware issue. Some sensor may have problem.
Thank you for all replies.

Hi.
I'm using Senation ROM 4.1 with Siyah 4.1.5 Kernel.
In some apps the screen jitters when I scroll. When I had MIUI rom I didn't have that issue, but then again, I don't believe it's a ROM issue.
I wonder if it's a known problem and is it fixable? does it have anything to do with touch sensitivity or filtering?
One of the apps is facebook.
Thanks.

No fix yet I don't think, this is a known issue with JB ROMS.
Also Siyah 4.1.5 has this problem when phone is chargng.
This happens to me also. I9100M with JellyBean 4.1.2. Usually doesn't last for more than 1/2 hour or an hour, and then it passes. Then the screen is normal until the next day or so. Very strange. It also happens on long menus that scroll, web pages than scroll, etc
Hi,
Does anyone experience a delay in the touchscreen being recognized when it's first woken up from sleep? Sometimes my first swipe or tap is not recognized at all. Generally it corrects in a second or two.
I'm currently using the existenz ROM and I have changed my DPI to 320.

i had no issue on any unmodded firmware but after installing xposed some of the modules delayed screen response by a tiny bit :/
I just stumbled upon something kind of weird:
When I swipe across the very bottom of the screen it will turn off. Orientation and position of the navbar does not seem to matter it always works at the bottom of the screen (the side with the lg logo). Direction of the swipe doesn't matter and it works on the lockscreen as well.
I have a D802 running on Mahdi 08/17 with barts v5.x AOSP Dorimanx kernel.
Haven't found anything specific in either rom or kernel thread. Is that hardware related? Bug? Design?...
Touchscreen firmware updated via service menu on stock kk rom around 2-3 months ago...

You haven't read the feature list of dorimanx kernel too well, my friend It's a feature in that kernel. You can turn it off in STweaks Hope this helps.

Well crap, I say their fault for calling it "sweep2sleep" no wonder I didn't find anything with swipe or slide, found plenty of slide2wake though
Thank you for the kind heads up and apologies for the forum clutter.
I've read it from the MIUI Forums. Does this version really fix the touch response? If so, how can you rate it?
Yeah, so no more touch delays, touch not registering, PUBG aiming bug, screen freezes, screen flickers, and this is coming from a user that faced these issues about 2 months.
Now they only need to fix those multi touches/ghost touches and it'll be perfect as it's still there
So I guess not all is experiencing the issues you mentioned? I had the edge back gesture not working well before and the flicker, but I never experienced any ghost touch or input lags.
not everyone got all issues.... i only got touch latency which is fixed 90% what i can see now..... but they need to fix it further to make its smoother......
but somehow aiming in PUBG in 8.12.13 doesn't feel smooth and snappy 8.12.7/8.12.10.
Now they just need to fix multi touch and ghost touch. This happens when I use 2 touches and swiped them so hard.
Ghost touches always happen below the notch area and the navigation bar area
Just got the open beta 8.12.13 OTA, following are the observation :-
1) Keyboard lag is minimized.
2) Scrolling near edges is improved but still buggy near bezels.
3) YouTube picture-in-picture mode doesn't work in full screen gesture mode in poco launcher home screen.
4) Screen flickering in lock screen is gone but further need to be tested.
4) Icon refresh is still there when minimizing any app.
5) Back gesture now works properly when any app folder on home screen is open.
6) Tuch delay of back button of navigation Bar is gone.
7) Touch sensitive of screen is bit improved.
8) Something flower like icon is added in left bottom of lockscreen.
9) Notification icon is same it was in previous beta.
so far no ghost touch on my poco 8.12.13 eu

Dam. Now, I've to flash back MeMeUI again to test it. I'm happy using LOS16. I'm sure I'll regret flashing MeMeUI cause of the crappy cartoonist UI but if that fix the issues, that's more important for me right now.

Merging firmware into the ROM can fix sometimes. You can wait a little the LOS genius devs to take advantage the newer firmware/vendor files.
No, they still haven't fixed the bottom area latency. It's the same as it was for a couple of weeks.
For me the touch has got worse. I didn't have any touch issues on all stable ROMs I ran till this first stable Pie/Oreo rom. I say first Pie/Oreo ROM as it's the first stable Pie ROM but still using lib library from Oreo. I'm noticing that I'm making more mistakes typing than I was before so I feel it's over sensitive now

The Poco team said it themselves that they couldn't fix the touch in the latest stable release yet so it's probably the same firmware as in the earlier builds. Shouldn't feel any different.

I don't believe them at all. As I said I wasn't suffering from any touch issues and this latest stable ROM has made my touch worse
For those who get worse in the update, make sure you do a clean wipe before flashing.
I found that after doing a clean update,my touch is better. (Not sure if it is really working but installing Magisk also kind of making my phone smoother)
But for sure the touch latency is improved.
For ghost touch,i test with multitouch tester,no more.but in pubg there is still ghost touch (my character shoot randomly when my thump near the shoot button). However, can fix by separate the buttons a bit far from each other. Then, reduce the in game camera about -5 to -10 for each categories.i found the game is more playable that way.My guess is that somehow the phone screen sensitivity is high.
For me, as a regular user, I can say that the touch is worse than 8.12.10.
When I say worse, I refer to the up / down scrolling through pages / facebook / etc.
Other than that, I don't seem to have any issues
