For me led is still working with b330. Perhaps you have to factory reset... Don't know if it helps.
from where did you come? b320 beta?
take the full image of b330 (1,5gb) from hihonor and not the update.zip
do a factory reset and then install the update
then everything should work
No I was on B180. The problem is with message system app, with messenger google led works fine.
And I did a factory reset after the update and still the same.
Now I can't find where I can hide apps and use visitor mode like before...
I had same problem coming from 320 ota. Factory reset and clean flash of 330 fixed these issues for me )
Sent from my PLK-L01 using XDA-Developers mobile app
I did factory reset and clean flash, but LED still not working... Unfortunately Honor Poland isn't helpful and doesn't answer for mails.
Don't worry. Things didn't work for me so I reflashed and then other things stopped working. Cheap honor Rom crap!

hey guys i have the international version of the SGS3 it is non rooted and i have not fooled around with any custom firmware or anything running the stock firmware that came with the phone. It is just 12 days old. I have been facing very strange issues with the phone which are mentioned below, i tried contacting sammy support for help but the tech team was not available and they say that i will get a call back in 24hrs although i am quite sure all they will tell me is do a factory reset. My issues are
1) I am using the digital clock widget that came with the phone and it randomly freezes as in it stops at a certain time but the clock in the notification bar continues to work. I have to manually remove and place the widget again and it comes back with the correct time.
2) My home screen widgets start flashing on their own and i am unable to click on any widget, i have to restart the phone and it starts working again.
3) The led notification light starts blinking a wierd purple color all on its own even tho i have no notifications or anything on the phone again i need to restart the phone and it starts working, i tried installing Lite Flow lite to see if it solved the issue and with that installed the issue goes away but i would much prefer not having the software installed.
Any help from all of you guys would be appreciated. Also attached a screenshot of the 1st error.

For the time stuff i would maybe try reseting the time in settings and see if it helps. and also clear the cache for the digital clock in settings app, may also help.
as for the flashing and what not, i did see that before when i was flashing roms......figured it was a bad flash though, didnt think anything of it as it went away when i flashed my next Rom. would hate to tell you to to flash another Rom to fix your issue
have you dont factory reset in settings.....maybe that will clear it all up for you. i know you will have to redo your phone but if it fixes it then there you have it :cyclops:
the time issue has not happened in the last day, for the flashing part i am on the original firmware have not flashed any rom's was planning to flash omega but after i solve these issues.
My digital clock freezes over time as well...
ok so it seems to be an issue with the SGS3 only, are you using any custom firmware?
ok finally got a reply from sammy for
1) they say if u click on clear ram it will cause the digital clock widget to hang
2) for this issue they say restore factory setting
3) this is caused because the phone searches for signal and hence it blinks.
I'm stock, no root. I did factory reset and have not cleared RAM recently. My digital clock still tends to freeze.

Hello
Ive seen a Huawei Ascend G630 that a friend has and he told me that the notification light when receiving WhatsApp messages does not work. The light is green by WhatsApp configuration.
How can I test the notification light is working correctly? When charging, it does light up.

I have Huawei Acend G630,and I have issue with LED indicator, its only on when charging or when the battery is low..its off for notification,I tried many apps to test it and its not blinking.
My friend have a same phone (just white edition, mine is black) and his LED indicator is blinking on notification.
HELP me,what to do,I had a BlackBerry, and i get used to led indicator,i want it to work on my g630
I'm not sure if this is the same as your problem, but my old phone only had blue and red LEDs, so setting the light color to green would result in nothing. If changing the color doesn't fix it, then I don't really know what the issue is, but you could try using an app such as Light Manager to test out the light.
Tried
Tried with that app and no light works when testing..... maybe a update???
SOLVED!
Install "Notification light widget" from google play store.
Add widget on homescreen and just tap on it.
I dont know whats cause this bug but this widget force LED light to start working.
Then install light manager if you want to edit your light colours
Just Google for every f*****g thing
If this work for you click thans button
Cheers!

Its said for motorola but for me its worked on Huawei.
Try to make a new google account, its possible that notifications are turned off on google settings from your smartphone that you had before G630.
First what I've did is creating new google acc and installed NLWidget and LED its work!

OK, on usual devices, just drag your application to the app info icon and when it opens, on the top left corner just below the app name you can toggle on/off notifications. Please let me know if this works.

Well making a new Google Account for this doesn't make sense. Also, the person before had the same Google Account on another phone and the notifications were lit up perfectly on the person's previous phone. Anyways, I DOUBT this has ANYTHING to do with, for example, WhatsApp, notifications.

It sounds odd because by defect it IS activated so why would it be deactivated? Also, with the widget and the light manager app it does not light up either.
There was to be some strange software bug in MIUI playing up here.

The glitch is a side effect of restoring from your Google account to the phone, which is part of the setup process for the phone. The feature downloads apps and settings from the cloud, which is usually a good thing. But in some instances it can tell the phone to restore the notification LED setting from another phone, leaving the light disabled with no way to re-enable it.
Fortunately there's a simple fix for this issue, and it's one that apparently applies to Motorola and some other phones too...
Motorola has released a widget that lets you toggle the notification light on and off, so if you're affected by this bug simply download it, place it on a home screen and toggle it on. After that you can remove the widget and your notification light will continue to work.
I dont know why but this bug comes with old google acc.
My LED was dead(it was on only on charging and batery low,not for notification),and I did factory reset, create new google acc. installed Notification light widget, and LED started to work, then I installed a Light manager for editing colours for notification.
Strange but black G630 have this bug, white G630 LED works perfectly.

Is the widget for activating it when you receive a notification? I might have been doing something stupid as in just toggleing on and off without doinging something.
Im going to turn it on using the widget and then send a WhatsApp to that person and see if it works.

Creating a new Google Account is a overkill and completely out of the question. At most, in the Google account, there has to be a setting to receive notifications. But even then, notifications are received perfectly; It just the light that doesn't turn on!

Hi guys!
I just got the Android Pie update this morning, and the first thing I noticed it's that my notification led (which was working well on Oreo) is not working anymore. I went to settings - notifications - advanced settings - pulse light is turned on. I tried to disable the "do not disturb mode", it didn't work.
Do you have any suggestions? Am I alone with this issue?
Thanks
Just to make sure, does the led work when you charge your phone?!

Yes, it works perfectly when charging my phone.
For a starter, turn it off and on again, then reboot.

Didn't work, sadly...
I also realised that when the screen is on and the messages are coming, the notifications icons are coming in the top bar BUT proper notifications are not showing up at the top of the screen (as it was before)
Don't want to hard reset the phone, it is so full.
Is it working for everyone else without changing any settings ?

It's working perfectly for me.
One thing you can do is to try the good old reliable factory reset and see if it works.
Make sure you backup your stuff before doing so.
I just acknowledged that it was because of the "Do not disturb mode". I'm always using this mode, and in 8.0, the Led was working when receiving messages and so one, but in 9, when in "Do no disturb" the led stop working. Somebody know how to make all the calls make ringing the phones and all the others notifications entirely silent without entering the "Do not disturb" mode ?

First, go to settings and make sure that notification volume isn't tied to the ring volume. After that, just lower the volume of the notifications.

Hi , Did your Led work ? or did u find any solution ?
Hello, how did u menage to activate led notification for missed call or sms?
mine only works with viber...
ty in advance
anyone ?
go to "Settings", try to find "Notification", in result it is "Application and Notification->Notification", 3rd row is switch for LED
actually, i do not have that option
Settings>>apps & notifications>>notifications
I did that and still no led notification, only on viber it works :|
Any update on this? Does it work for everybody/somebody/no one? I tried SMS and Gmail notifications - Ambient display turns on, but LED stays off. It seems that the only time when it's glowing is during charging.
led notification works for Instagram, WhatsApp, telegram
Not working for "missed calls".

Yesterday I noticed the LED, but it was only for gmail. SMS messages still nothing. The phone is on the lastest 100% stock EU ROM. Reading topics on MI forum, more people are having the same issue. If I remember correctly, Mi A1 had initially similar problems, but it got fixed after few updates. I guess it's just Xiaomi thing.. When I get another phone for myself, I'll try to check it in more details with root.

How to assign a color to each notation?

That's too bad
I have a problem, ambient display blink always ,rven blink light us off, how to fix it
So i was reading all over internet how we are not supposed to have AOD notifications, just a clock. But the other I checked my phone and I saw instagram and wsp icon on AOD and then it banished never saw it again, tought I was hallucinating but today in the morning I saw my AOD full of notifications , so what the hell is happening? do we have them in emui 9.1? and if so why i almost never have them and sometimes I do
EDIT: Fixed by wiping the system cache in recovery
nevermind, I cleaned the system cache in recovery and now it works perfect, all app notifications now appear on AOD
Thanks, I was experiencing the same problem, I haven't investigated because I don't use aod frequently, I tried wiping cache and now works perfectly
