Hi,
I plan to buy from a friend a phone samsung galaxy s7 sm-g930a that was bought from ebay.
But what I need is an international rom in order to have it on my local full language , like samsung sm-g930F model.
Is it possible to install an an international rooted stock rom on Samsung galaxy S7 sm-g930A ?
I yes then how to do it?
Thanks
The phone you're ordering, from the model number, is a phone with a Qualcomm processor. You can't use custom ROMs or unlock the bootloader on Samsung phones that use Qualcomm processors due to security measures.
However, you can root these variants, and, depending on your local language, you'll probably be able to select the language from the settings menu without having to use a different ROM. Just go through Settings>General management>Language and input>Language>Add language and see if you can find the language.
I bought my galaxy s6 edge plus in Dubai, so the model is sm-g928c. But I moved to Korea and I want to use my credit on samsung pay. But the card isn't supported by UAE's samsung pay. So I thought maybe flashing with Korea's stock firmware(sm-928s) might do the job. My question is, is it okay to flash this on my phone?
update: I actually did try to flash the lastest version of it(sm-g928s) on my phone, and it failed with my phone saying secure check fail bootloader. Now I'm thinking the bootloader is the problem. So can I full flash(4 files) sm-g928s on my phone?
I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy J8 from Australia because I lost my phone there. When I came home to India I found out that the Australian J8 does not support VoLTE (Voice over LTE) but I need VoLTE for my Indian sim card to work. So I went to the Samsung service center but they straight away denied any support since I bought this in another country.
The Indian varient J8 supports VoLTE but the Australian one does not even when both the phones have the exact same hardware. So its a software limitation.
Can anyone suggest any method I can use to install any custom ROM that'll support VoLTE.
I'm willing to install anything, root my phone or whatever it takes since I'm never gonna get any warranty on this. So I might as well try everything else.

Just download Indian firmware from sammobile and flash via odin, that will contain latest modem for your device. It might bring VoLTE, because I think its software problem.

I tried but it won't let me install any other model firmware. My phone's Model Number is SM-J810Y but the phones available in India have model number SM-J810G. So it won't let me install the "G" firmware. I get a failed message.
Do you have any other suggestion?
