Can you tell us which busy box installer? I have problems trying to install Viper4android. I have a H960A with 5.1.1 rooted.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Busy box by rummy apps.. Viper4android version 2.4.0.1.
No luck for me with that busybox.
But I tried flashing via flashfire viperAudio_5.4_Stock.zip from http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/viperaudio-viperatmos-3-8-sq-driver-t3289075 and it seems it works

I tried the toolkit at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2358130 but the software just hung. Any suggestion? Thanks.

Tried that one. No go. After installation, the LEDs doesn't bink during boot.

Make sure that you install busybox. It's required to run that recovery.

Thanks. Artit in his post gave me enough tip for me to get recovery installed on my phone.
I have just installed xposed installer but it shows the big red label the latest version is NOT active in the module section. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, master reset, several reboots, but nothing changes. What am I missing? Thanks in advance.

Assuming that you are rooted, once you install Xposed, open the app, click on "Framework", Click Install/Update button, reboot. That should do. Else, confirm you've rooted properly and have latest busybox installed.

There lies your problem. System partition is not writable & busybox is not installed. Try rooting once again. Also install try installing busybox using Flashtool.

Have you actually installed Supersu? You may have 'rooted' using Root Tools etc but have you installed a root management app and installed the binaries?

So guides online for other phones say that you have to uninstall xposed and reinstall it. The problem is I didn't install xposed. It came with the Jasmine 6.1 from the droidyemen team. How do I install it?
Lollipop 5.0 OF1
1 Click Super SU root from androidyemen
Jasmine 6.1 rom
Verizon Note 3
I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

Question: How do I make backup if I don't have any TWRP or Cynogen Mod? Bootloaders are locked on Verizon Note 3. Also there are no instructions... very confusing for new rooter.
Flashfire app but still if you get in trouble it wouldn't be available to restore the backup..there might be more to it but I'm not sure..now that there is root you could just go back to stock with odin

I don't know how to use flashfire... Everything I've done how to do was by watching Youtube videos...
If you use titanium back up on the stock rooted firmware and back up data then when you flash jasmine and just restore the data it will work again. That's what I did and works perfectly

Could you give me a step by step? I boot looped my phone last week by trying to download TWRP because none of the guides told me that. I'm also very new to rooting. All I do is follow YouTube videos on how to do things.

If you were on stock rom or jasmine. On jasmine you need to get the xposed Uninstaller flash it in flashfire, run snapchat cause it will work after xposed is not shown in the "framework" then use titanium backup to back up the app and data, flash the xposed installer then it should stay logged in, if not you got titanium backup again and just restore "data" of the snapchat and it will be logged in. I backed mine up from the stock rooted firmware/ROM.

That's what I've been told. That's not what I did myself, I was on the stock rom before I flashed jasmine when I did the back up. Yes, titanium backup. Install app then restore "data" and good to go

The uninstalling, flashing, and reflashing. I've been using youtube videos to root my phone, so I feel very lost without it.
I installed "lineage-14.1-20170226-UNOFFICIAL-jfvelte" and "open_gapps-arm-7.1-flavor-20170308" on a Samsung gt-i9515, I can not do root. It's possible to do it? If so, how?

Thanks for the answer, I installed all "addonsu" from linage website but do not work. I also installed on the mobile SuperSU, but does not want to work. Where am I wrong?
Oh it is my mistake
You are on the unofficial build so you need to enable developer options by going to about device and press 7 times on build number, after that you will find a root option set it to apps and adb

You could try using Magisk hide, If the app is failing to run because of root there's a chance that it's also checking for "SafetyNet" and if it is, Magisk hide is the only solution available. Of course you can also try using the other various methods of hiding root from the app too. I cannot guarantee this'll work but this is your best chance.

The use of Magisk Hide requires that you switch over to MagiskSU, Which means you'll have to uninstall SuperSU.
From my standpoint if you're going to attempt switching them, Make sure you're ready for anything. Backups, Stock ROM available and on hand just in case, You understand how ODIN works, In other words.....You know what to do to fix it if it doesn't end up working or you end up in a bootloop.
It should be safe but at the same time you be safe too, Just in case.
Last but not least, Read Read read, Make sure you understand what you're doing, Even ask within the Note 4 forum if they've successfully installed MagiskSU.
