So I decided to trade in my LG V10 and before I did I wanted to re-lock the bootloader. So I used ADB to reboot the phone into bootloader and used the command "fastboot oem lock" to lock the bootloader. It was a success and the phone reboot fine but now when I try and do a factory data reset in the settings the phone will reboot and give me this Secure booting error 1003 message and it won't reset the phone.....just takes me back to my home screen and my apps and settings are still there. Any help would be appreciated!

So I tried Unlocking Bootloader with a made up unlock.bin.
Word of warning be careful if you try it.
This is my experience: OEM UNLOCK with a made up bin phone gives a warning about wiping.
Out of curiosity I wanted to see if it would just fail out it didn't, but instead wiped the phone like it was unlocking the BL, I went into bootloader to check it was still locked (as expected).
But doing the procedure did something to my bootloader. If the phone is off (shutdown) and I plug it into the charger it will immediately boot into bootloader on it's own without me touching the power button.
Also from a powered off state if I power like normal it will boot to bootloader screen instead of system, from which I can boot into the system without issues and the phone works fine.
From a powered up state If I hold the power button for safe mode it will reboot into bootloader mode and then I have to start the phone to get to safe mode.
Has anyone else experienced this? Would reflashing the Nougat firmware correct it?
If not I am fine with the phone the way it is.
Get in bootloader and type: fastboot oem fb_mode_clear
It's a command to close the "startup directly into bootloader". Device should start normal again.

Thank you I will try that when I get home this evening.
Edit: that solved the issue I think I'll leave the boot loader alone for awhile lol.
Hi, My Nokia 1 (TA-1047) is now in "No Command" mode.
I installed TWRP recovery previously and tried to root but failed. Then I installed stock recovery and phone started normally. As the phone started normally, I locked OEM through Fastboot mode and disabled OEM unlocking from "Developer Option".
But while installing "system update" from "Settings", it showed error and went to "No Command" mode.
Now I'm unable to flash anything through Fastboot mode because the OEM is locked. Also I'm unable to change OEM unlocking from "Developer Option" as the phone is not starting.
Is there any option to unlock OEM without the help of "Developer Option"?

Edit. Okay, ignore most of what i said down there as after re-reading your post you seem to have a grasp on fastboot, the no command bit still applies though i think
"No Command" mode
If your talking about the recovery with the android image in the background, then there might still be hope, for some reason, the recovery starts up in this mode, showing the "no cammand" message, its fiddly, but you have to press the power button and either volume up or volume down repeatedly, in the end i was button spamming all the buttons and eventually the recovery menu showed up. Carefull to stop pushing buttons when the menu shows up as the buttons are how you navigate(v+,v-) and choose options(power button)
Whether that gives you any options i dont know, you could try a factory reset from the recovery menu, i suppose, or try the posted ota in the other thread if nokia has`nt released official firmware, although im not sure if you can use stock recovery to flash unofficial firmware, best bet is to try and boot into fastboot and use adb on another computer to flash the firmware that way, assuming the firmware files are available.
Most android devices have a way to boot into recovery or fastboot/bootloader using hardware keys
Quick google found this (works?)
Power off
Connect Micro USB to computer.
"In the next step hold down Volume Down + Power key for a short while"
Let go of the buttons when fastboot comes up
Using the computer with adb installed, go to a command terminal and type "fastboot devices" without quotes, you`ll know everythings working if your the device is listed in terminal after typing that command. From there look up fastboot flashing firmware or something to that extent, this is assuming you managed to find the correct firmware for your device and have it stored in your computer
I`d be real carefull here with fastboot, flashing wrong image file could make things much worse, at least it seems you can boot to recovery, so hopefully a factory reset fixes things, use fastboot as last resort i.e if its new job is a paperweight, as i dont think theres any particular guide on doing this specifically for the nokia 1, but i havent checked thouroughly so i could be wrong, take a look and see..............
And let us know if/how you managed to get it working
Goodluck
Hello!
My Nokia 7.1 is stucked in "Download Mode" after i installed Security Update i already tryed Reset to Factory Mode but still the same.
I'm able to access the Phone via Fastboot cmd, i tryed to unlock OEM so that i can do a "fastboot erase userdata" so that i can send the phone to a service center but it dont work cause its locked.
I cant install the apk from Nokia so i'm not able to receive the .key File to unlock my Bootloader, is there a other way to unlock my Bootloader?
Thanks you very much!

Resolved: I asked techmesto.com he flashed my a ROM on my Phone now it workes again, thanks for the help !!
I have a tecno wx4 phone and I tried to install the TWRP recovery thought adb, and it all went how it should have. But when I tried to boot it I got the this screen:
"Orange State
Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted
Your device will boot in 5 seconds"
And I've googled about it but all solutions I found required the phone to actually boot into the OS or the recovery mode, and this phone just keeps on rebooting to this screen every 5 seconds, and it does that even when I try to boot into recovery mode, just sends me back to that screen, and the adb terminal can't detect the phone on this state.
If anyone has had a problem like this and found a solution, please help me because I ran out of ideas...
PS: I did everything I needed prior to this, enabled adb debugging, unlocked OEM through the OS first, but once I unlocked through fastboot I kept having that screen.
Hey guys,
so I got a Nokia 7.1 that has once been returned to the vendor after an upgrade failed.
My plan was to unlock the bootloader and flash TWRP - easy enough.
However I can't check "OEM Unlock" in developer options. It's simply greyed out.
I also can't enter any sort of recovery mode, it gives me the usual background for recovery (the android with its belly opened) and only says "No command". It then proceeds to reboot after ~15 seconds.
I cant enter the bootloader or download mode with hardware keys at all, gotta do it via ADB.
Long story short: I want to flash TWRP but I obviously can't get rid of the flashlock and neither can I wipe cache or data to reset it.
I've read about reasons for the OEM unlock being greyed out. Without going into details I got two Nokia 7.2 where I am able to OEM unlock, so I really don't think locale or vendor is blocking it.
Got any ideas?
Bootloader must be unlocked, see this . OEM Unlock doesn't work on 7.1.
