Hey guys...for some reason my skype is busted againi tried the fix in the cm7 forums here to changw ro.kernel.android.check.jni=1 to 0 and it workered for a awhile...til i upgraded to the 09 build that fixes wifi sleep...tried to go into the build.prop to change the setting again
..
But its not in there.....so i added it...but nothing...any ideas.
ok guys if anyone else is having this problem
it was pointed out to me that the build.prop in the /system needs to be edited to contain these lines
dalvik.vm.checkjni=false
ro.kernel.android.checkjni=0
add this to the bottom save....reboot....and skype away....i used ES file explorer with root to edit the build.prop hope it help someone

there is a sd card tweak but i can not find the init.D. So how to apply this tweak?

to add start up script support inside init.d folder in stock roms, just create a file in /system/etc/install-recovery.sh using this script

and then just create init.d folder in /system/etc/
put your start up script there... it works i using it to add some tweaks for my live with walkman...
Hmm most of those tweaks are relevant to old x10/x8 devices not sure they will do ane good here. Remember just because you CAN change smth doesnt mean its working proper

I cant see the lines on my xperia active build.prop.. What to do? I only saw the vm heap..

I have an Android 5.1.1 device and my question is the following:
I just finished editing/optimizing the build.prop file (located in /System) and was wondering if this is also possible with the default.prop file (located in the beginning of the root folder ''RootFS'') ?
Codes in them are often the same / very similar.
It is about these codes that I had put in the Build.prop and also want to put in default.prop:

You need to modify your boot.img with mkbootimg or other kernel tools. This file, default.prop, is inside of ramdisk, inside of boot.img file ... and you need to extract from there to modify and after flash on your device. I found on google and on xda many "how to".
