wolf left note about this in his ROM Dev thread....if its not your baseband ie your using an old one....
then go into the apps, find the DEV TOOLS app, go into bad behaviour and hit the buttom called 'crash system server'

Hi im fairly new to rooted phones amd such but when i try to install miui on my htc desire i get stuck in a bootloop :S im currently running the latest version of cyanogenmod which works perfectly, ive tried other roms like oxygen for example and it works its just miui that wont work any suggestions? Thanks in advance for answers
Did you do a full wipe of data and cache before flashing it?
ok ive been using MIUI [1.11.25] pRiMe 4.2 for a while now and its been excellent so far,but recently i tried applying a few lockscreen themes that use the "lockscreen 2.0" feature of the latest release and this results in a bootloop. I tried several such themes and even asked the creators themselves and they seem to think the issue is with this rom in particular.Could you please look into this oodie?or if anyone else can guide me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.
I was wondering if there is any solution of fix to the problem with the latest MIUI rom with fully applying themes. I can currently only apply a theme to the icons yet not for anything else (like messaging and notification bar etc...).
I am running the ICS version of MIUI on my GSII btw.
doesnt the miui rom has a themechooser like cm9 ?
if not you might try the cm9 for sgs2
It does, and that is what i use, i download the theme and click apply but not everything applies - only the icons. And i have tried cm9 and used it for a while but i just wanted to use MIUI for the customisation feature (which appear not to be working).
Hmmm Okey...
Have u tried different Themes ore just one.
Because I made the experience that in some cm (i didnt used miui) Themes your problem appeares.
So I made the same experience.
It may also depend on what type of phone youre using.
Keep on searching and u may find something that fitts to your expections.
i've tried at least 5 different themes and non of them fully work, and i've searched for a solution of which there is non that i can find :/
Hmm okey...
Whats if you write to the dev team of MIUI
Did you find anybody else stating that problem?
Hello,
to be able to install xposed, I m trying downgrading my global beta rom 5.11.12 to the last stable, without loosing data.
When install it, its boot, but the radio is shutdown, sim not detected and get "com.android.phone has stopped working "
have you any idea to resolve this,
restoring data manuelly will be very annoying task
Thank you
Switching between a developer rom and a stable rom need a wipe data. You must do a wipe data if you want it

I am a little confused, what is the latest global stable rom?
I read about 7.0.12.0 here: http://en.miui.com/thread-182209-1-1.html?mobile=2 but can´t find it anywhere... the most current I can find is 7.0.8.0
And where do I find out on which dev rom this stable is based, or at least which set of features this stable rom has ?
