iFive mini 3GS dead

Hi,
I had an accident and fromat flash from my ifive mini 3gs.
My iFive mini 3GS won't turn on. However it get detected by windows as unknown device. I was trying to install rockchip drivers but they won't install for 64 bit windows 7.
I have backup files.
When trying to turn on holding power button screen is black. Also can't get into recovery mode.
Any solution or idea would be welcome! maybe jtag recovery?
Why are you trying install rockchip drivers when your iFive mini 3GS is an MTK6592 device??
you should install mediatek drivers/
are you sure you have the mini 3GS model ?
My driver is right but...
...also my tablet now is recognized like a "unknow device", now I try to send back to the store, I think only the FNF can fix this problem, maybe with a JTAG connection and right software.
Solved (thanks rrileypm), just wait until the battery is empty, after open SP flash toll and push download, then connect the tablet, now wait 1-2 minutes until windows make "ding" for usb device connection, at this point your sp flash tool is working and flashing your tablet, then unplug your tablet and ejoy it.

unbrick totaly dead mt6582 device

hi guys,
I've Lenovo TAB A5500-HV i used MtkDroidTools to create backup which located in my PC, and tried to install the Offical ROM A5500HV_A442_000_024_141007_ROW using SP Flash Tool v5.1352.01 using the option Download, after it starts in about a second the windows - windows 8.1 x64 - just restarted and since then the tablet won't start neither normally nor in recovery and when it get connected to PC the windows says Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) and no the Mediatek DA and Mediatek Preloader don't get recognized at all in the Device manager.
i know it's totally dead and i searched for long time on the internet with no luck.
PS: i say the device is MT6582 but Lenovo says it's 8382 and in the droid tools it says 8382 is a fake so i don't what it matter
thanks.

I ****ed up a recovery flash... now I regret my life choices!

I have a thl knight 2, I tried to flash twrp and it's stuck in a bootloop. I can't connect trough adb, fastboot but I saw some ports in device manager. I downloaded mediatek drivers. As far as I know when I connect the phone it should be detected by the droid tools or sp flash tool but it isn't. All the drivers pop up, I tried setting them to mediatek DA USB VCOM (Android), Mediatek USB VCOM (android) and Mediatek PreLoader USB VCOM (Android) but still it doesn't find the phone. I can't use recovery and can't enter fastboot. My volume up key used to lower the volume instead so maybe they are both mapped to volume down? I have a orange state message on the android logo about not trusting my phone. It would have been better to just let the chinese government get my personal information than trying to mess with forces I don't comprehend! If anyone reads this and is willing to help me I will be forever in your debt.
Maybe if I brick it altogether I will have more chance than it just getting to the android logo.

Where did you get the mentioned twrp recovery?

Zenfone 5 Bricked USB Malfunction

Recently, I got a Zenfone 5 that stucked at Intel Logo. I tried to unbrick using XFSTK method but having trouble on detecting the phone. Everytime I connect to the PC, Windows will display USB has malfunctioned and Device Manager will only shows Intel Soc driver, the one which supposed to be Cloverviewplus is not visible and I got a USB device descriptor request failed when connected to phone. I tried to connect other Zenfone 5 and the PC was able to detect it (displaying both Intel and Clover driver) which make me wonder what problem the phone causing? Appreciated any help and suggestions from all of you, thanks!

Unbrick Onda V701s tablet

Hi everyone!
I have an Onda V701s tablet that runs on the Allwinner A31s SOC. Specifications of this tablet can be found here: https://www.imei.info/phonedatabase/onda-v701s/
While trying to root the tablet with ADB commands, I bricked the device. When powering on the device, it is stuck on the Onda boot logo. This boot logo shows the brand logo with the text "SINCE 1989" underneath it. The device does not boot any further, no matter how long I wait.
I've tried to connect the tablet to my Windows 11 (64-bit) laptop in a special download mode using the following steps:
Power off the tablet
Press and hold volume button
Connect USB cable from the tablet to the laptop
Press the power button up to 10 times until the tablet is recognized by the laptop
These steps indeed result in a different connection between my laptop and the tablet, but I am still unable to flash the stock firmware. To do this, I've tried LiveSuit and PhoenixSuit, but both pieces of software do not recognize the tablet (no device connected).
Does anyone here have experience with flashing bricked Allwinner chipset devices?
