Hey there!
Two friends of mine and I developed a little app - LaunchBox. With LaunchBox you have an overview of all the upcoming space launches, mission info and times (choose between UTC and your local time). You can enable notifications for a single launch or for all of a specific rocket type. So you will never miss a launch again! Of course, a link to a video stream is also included (if available). The app is free and without ads, it's just a little gift from space fans to space fans. We're trying to keep the information as accurate and up to date as possible.
You can download LaunchBox here:

We're looking forward to your feedback!

Hello,
I need a time tracking app. There is a lot of time trackers on Google Play and I've tried a lot of them, but in every app I missed one important feature: parallel timers for different clients and jobs.
I need:
- to define my clients, to define my jobs I do for the clients, to define projects.
- to simply choose client, project and kind of job and then start the timer
- to simply start and stop MULTIPLE timers (start and stop one timer, while second timer is still running)
- to export all data in usable form (for billing my clients)
Example of what I mean:
- My job is phone support. I am sitting at home and answering phone calls. I am payed for hours, so I need to start timer and leave it running almost all day untouched (except of lunch time).
- Because I spent most of the time by waiting for calls, I simultaneously do other jobs. I write articles, compose music and do some other work for other clients. So I need to start and stop timers according to actual work - but the "phone support timer" has to be also running. When I am - for example - writing an article and someone calls me, I need to stop "writing article timer", pick up the phone and solve customer's problem. When I drop the phone, I need to start "writing article timer"... etc...
This kind of app with parallel timers I've used on my Psion PDA back in 1998, but I can't find similar app for Android phones. Can anybody recommend me the app I am searching for? Thanks a lot.
Hoi,
i am using for nearly the same actions the App StopWatch.
On an older device i used Multi Timer PRO, but for some reasons? it isnt availabale at the Store any longer, and i didnt find my Backup.

TSheets Time Tracker
Check out TSheets Time Tracker (tsheets.com) you can set up multiple job codes for your clients and projects and click to start and stop each one. When you set up your account just make yourself two people (!!) - "Mr/Mrs scalex.cz Phone" and "Mr/Mrs scalex.cz Article Writer" so the clocks can run simultaneously...
Check out the free app Timesheet from LlamaLab. It can handle multiple tasks active simultaneously.

Quickbooks Time Tracking Software is really awesome
Go ahead with Quickbooks Time Tracking Software from Replicon. Its been hassle free, cloud based, designed quite impressively with UX/UI and manages to navigate well. I am sure there will not be any cool tool than this.
Hi,
Question for kids apps developers...
I would really appreciate you opinion on this one.
We believe the app store model is not working well when it come to small kids
No niche categorization ( within the “kids” world )
Added value app are “buried” by tons of low value apps
lot’s of sexual & violent apps on app stores
Parents dislike the ongoing pressure to buy or unexpected purchases
MOST importantly to this forum - Good kids apps are NOT rewarding to most app developers (pushed down by mega brands/monetizers)
We would like to offer our audience (close to 1 million kids) a premium subscription based service for parents and reward developers based on real usage (real minutes spent on their app) dividing the revenues among them. so instead of one time compensation, it would be spread over time.
What do you think???
Some more info on our website
BTW- I'm not posting this to sign you up, I'm sincerely looking for your feedback and your expectations from such a service.
Thanks!
Eldad from Kidoz
Good idea.
One of device brend (don't remember what) recently presented "sandbox" mode on their devices. Parents can activate this mode and then kid play without any danger. You could integrate your "market" there But google play policy don't allow to modify apk files via applications...

Hello XDA devs, looking for some initial test AW 2.0 users for an app we built which helps you reduce smoking by waiting for your next smoke at a suggested time.
We developed a smartwatch app which helps people quit smoking, on Android Wear 2.0 (atm), to signup go here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ai.kiwi.pepperapp.cue , will message back with how to install/setup and use the app.
heres how it works:
-> we automatically detect when a person smokes (motion recognition)
-> from here you are suggested a best time to smoke next (we slowly increase their time to their next cigarette)
-> when you wait until after the suggested time you receive points which can be converted into Starbucks credits
Early results white paper search for kiwi.ai on medium or article "Applying Artificial Intelligence to Help People Quit Smoking: Early Results"
Here are a couple quotes from our initial testers; looking to get 1000 user market study to confirm our results!
"Cue helped me reduce smoking by 50% in the first week. It’s magical” - Ali N.
“After 24 years of smoking, this has been the only thing to help thus far” - Darrell
“This app is great, puts you on the road to quitting easily and effectively. I would share this with anyone needing help to quit for good" - Jasmine
“Cue is a helpful app because it provides positive reinforcement that rewards delaying my next cigarette." - Adrian
for users to download and try out the app they need to search for "Cue" on the playstore app on their AW 2.0 watch
For additional tips on installing and using the app please visit bit.ly/CueHelp for more info.
Please note app only works on select AW 2.0 enabled watches at the moment.
Hi, i can't download it.. can you also provide direct apk download ?
Does this require an Android Phone/Android Wear combo? I use iPhone/Android Wear....
There's no way the app could detect when someone is smoking. Is this a joke? What if I frequently pick my nose? :silly: Same movement.
