Now that your Verizon Galaxy Note 3 bootloader is unlocked is time to flash some roms. For this you will need TWRP. A simple way to obtain the latest and stay up to date with a couple clicks is TWRP with Flashify. You will not need Odin or a PC at all to do this.
STEP 1:
Download flashify: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgollner.flashify

Flash roms till you pass out lol. Don't forget to backup your files.

USING TWRP:
*****Yes- Jasmine Rom 6.1 can be flashed with twrp*****
When you flash your first rom after unlocking your bootloader and flashing twrp it's best to start with a clean slate. Make sure you put the rom of your choice on your Micro SD card. Wiping everything ensures that you have as few errors as possible. When flashing completely new roms this is also advised to avoid any errors.

Since unlocking the bootloader, everytime I download a rom it disappears off my sd card. It's like as soon as I download a rom, movie, etc.... it vanishes.

I have a Verizon Galaxy Note 3 with Jasmine ROM 6.1. When I installed TWRP using Flashify with this method and rebooted to recovery, it told me that "System software not authorized by Verizon Wireless has been found on your phone. Please turn off your phone and go to the nearest Verizon Wireless store for help." It would not boot back into the phone - I had to go into download mode, and use Odin to reinstall the N900VVRUEOF1_PartialFirmware.tar.md5, so I could put the stock recovery back on.
Is there a way to install TWRP without triggering this Verizon security screen?

Hello i am new to this website and i was wanting to know how to root my samsung galaxy showcase sch-i500 from c-spire wireless.I had my phone rooted before i upgraded to gingerbread the other day.I have found some directions on the website but i guess i am not doing them right.I downloaded the gingerbreak from chasefire and i scaned it with my phone but it is showing as wall papper on my applications any help would be appreciated and sorry for asking this question if it has already been asked thanks
Try this app
This is the easiest one I'd used to root my Fascinate I500, But remember to manually restart your phone by removing your battery and putting it back in. For some reason it's not doing that at the end of the process. Good luck.

Rooting i500
Did you ever get root enabled, I imagine you tried superoneclick and it failed. If you didn't get root I can help. It requires cwm and a root-package zip that you flash with cwm.
Problems rooting
I think it may have worked for the original poster but i am having BIG problems rooting my phone from cspire. The one click does not work and i have tried three other ways to do it. I am able to get recovery console access but past that nothing has happened. I followed the instructions at galay forums.net (wont let me post link but when i got to the part where i install the "su-x.x.x.x.zip" file i get the message "installed successfully. enjoy!" but when i reboot to try to go to the next step it always reboots into the recovery. Please help!

thats the exact setup I havei just got this phone asa replacement, did you use Odin to flash recovery then flash zip I linked up?I can send you what ever file you need to complete it(recovery root zip etc.) just lemme know

Yes I used the recovery flash (red clockwork mod) to flash the zip you uploaded for me. It says that it installs and that there are no problems but when I back out and reboot it will just boot back into clockwork rather than into the android os. The closest I've had it to booting right was using the su.x.x.x.x.zip file but when that was used my phone just boot looped (samsung logo boot up bid sanding logo for about two minutes reboot rinse and repeat)

When i click download roms on clockwork mod ROM app I get a message that says:
You must have CWM Recovery installed b4 continuing. Install the recovery through ROM manager first.
The app (CWM) does not have any Moto Razr version of the recovery to download.I found RazrBootstrap.apk that is said to be the Razr recovery for Clockworkmod. It also says to download RAZR-CWMOnBoot.zip but i think I already have this.
I have razr safestrap on my phone already and it reboots into Recovery with the Clockworkmod logo. Is it safe to download RazrBootstrap.apk when i already have safestrap? Something is telling me that would mess up my phone.
So what do I need to do to be able to use Clockworkmod ROM manager for Moto Razr?
You can't use rom manager on any phone with a locked boot loader. We are using cwm recovery but not in a way their program can read it because we can't actually replace the stock recovery. We just work around it. So to flash a rom you would need to download it and then manually install it through safe strap or bootstrap. I prefer safe strap that way if it fudges up I still have my stock rooted to fall back onto and don't have to rsd back.

Thanks, now i know not to worry bout it and can unistall CWM rom manager and get my refund.
WRONG! Rom manger works on a lot of Motorola phones with a locked bootloader. My droid x was one of them. Wish the noobs would get this one right! Koush just for whatever reason won't write a bootstrap for the razr.

+1! ROM Toolbox Pro!
I have a Sprint SGS 3 rooted with build ALF9 model SPH-L710 in USA.
There is an update it wants me to install.
Will I lose root? If so, can I just go back to my clockwork recovery and restore it?
Or is it easy just to root it again the same way as before?
Thanks

Chances are you are going to lose root.
Can I just re-root it the old way (odin/clockwork I think), or will there be some protection
or need to find a newer root method?
Look here and read it good(to achieve update and root with new firmware and baseband)....:thumbup:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28612771
Also you can achieve the same goal( update and retain root)here too:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28597495

It won't install the upgrade rom.zip gives me an error
7 something and fails. Guess I have to wait for the
Sprint stock rom to be posted and then flash it,
then re-root or wait for a posted stock rom w/root
to flash from clockwork recovery?
CWM
you wont be able to install the update with clockwork as your recovery
Imma pm you in a minute and get you right just wait and ill let you know.....and you can flash through cwm ive done it twice...Did you make a nandroid of your stock rooted?

if you loose root, just re-root
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XoEVDgjTTdg&list=UUbR6jJpva9VIIAHTse4C3hw&index=5&feature=plcp
I unrooted, tried OTA and says none (which there was),
re-rooted again with newest rom manager and clockwork,
still can't flash the update. Guess I don't really need it
(what does it even do, I don't use wallet or dropbox).
But it would be nice to be able to flash updates in the future
without wiping anything.

I don't want to flash the original nandroid, as I would lose 100's of apps, saves, settings
that I do not want to take HOURS to fix. Will this method keep all my settings, saves, widgets, etc?
If not, don't I just wait for a rooted updated sprint rom all baked and flash it over mine so I don't lose
a thing? Also the link in #2 doesn't work, what file was it, I might already have it.
P.S. Still don't know what oxeded is or deoxed
AWESOME.
Alright so that worked and I backed everything up on my SD card but now I was looking to run OMEGA cause I hear thats the best rom to run
correct me if im wrong
AND
I get this error. Something about this shouldnt have this software please bring this to a Verizon immeadiately
Actually specidically what it says it

Well if he can't get past the boot screen of the unauthorized software he can't flash anything unless he does it in recovery. The only other option besides recovery is to Stock Restore.
This is one of the first phones ive done rooting myself
And I dont think I will ever quit now
BUT
How do I do that. Flash one Loki Patched
Check out the official Roms list in general section. That can give you the steps to do a wipe, but if you can get into recovery, just install one of those roms

So I have the Recovery screen and its allowing me to get ZIPS from my EXT sd card , but currently I only have omega
This is one of my first times with any of this so step by step may be needed
and what if I just go to restore.. Yes or No
You can do the no wipe restore. Or download a new ROM into the micro SD if you have an SD adapter and slot for it.

You can adb sideload ROMs or kernels from within recovery so the zips don't have to be on your phone as long as you have access to a computer and adb.
Hello guys, any help would be appreciated.
My note 3 is rooted on the stock rom. I hadn't changed anything or installed anything new. I cut my phone on and I get that message. I'm unable to run any apps and the message shows up immediately after cutting the phone on. My status bar isn't visible either.
Do I have any options? Since the phones unusable, I can't factory reset. I've tried different batteries and taking out my memory card. The phone literally soft bricked itself overnight.

Running Odin, reflash the tar for the firmware you're running.
If you can get into a custom recovery, you can always push system ui back to system, priv-app via the file manager built into TWRP.
Such behavior is common, especially if running conflicting Xposed modules.

Thank you but what if I don't have TWRP? As for reflashing the tar, I'm not using anything custom. All I have is a full (non rooted) restore file and the file I used to root it with Odin. Would I need to flash one of those, and if I do, would I lose data?

If you flashed the stock tar, then yes, you'll lose data and root, but the items in your internal storage will be left intact (pictures, music, documents, etc).
Since you're rooted, if you are able to get into system, then you could download titanium backup to save your call logs, mms, sms, etc, then flash the stock tar again.
Short of that, you could flash recovery, which will trip Knox if the root method you used did not, or, flash the stock tar again and move on.
